My family and I usually come here all the time for service . But recently, my dad went here to receive help on transferring/activating his new phone. He received rushed and unprofessional service. He was given a box with instructions to basically “figure it out”. I’m assuming because the store was closing. After many hours on the phone with representatives to activate the phone, we found out that either the phone or SIM card was faulty. Something that could’ve been addressed while my dad was being assisted in the store. Since my dad knew exactly who he spoke with at the store, we planned on returning. But ended up going to another location who helped us and ameliorated our situation.

Verizon Representative Derrick was extremely rude. I had to park in the curbside pickup spot as both handicapped spots were full. He approached me asking what car I drove. Then he abruptly said you need to move your car. I explained to him I was disabled and had surgery showing him the scar on my knee. He again told me to move my car. I explained to him that he needed an education in the Americans with Disabilities Act. He again told me to move my car. He could have handled this in a better manner. Could have been polite instead of demanding. He needs to be trained in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Verizon would be facing a huge fine if I filed a complaint under the ADA.

Me and my son went into this store about a week or so ago. He had smashed his phone screen and we had an extra phone laying around. We went in and saw Andy. He swapped out the phones with no problem. He got my kid all set up on the extra phone. And he did it right at closing time. Andy gave above superior service and was professional during the entire exchange. Outstanding job and service.

Wait time was as to be expected. The representative Chris was very rude and short talked to me. Raising his voice over mine and wouldn’t let me finish a question before telling me “that’s all I can do”. Was trying to figure out if it would make sense to just upgrade since I have been having multiple issues with both of my devices and he only offered SIM card swaps and “call customer service or tech support”His excuse for being so rude when I brought it to his attention was that there was a lot of people in the store and he needed to help them as well. I am a paying customer and I waited just like they did. When asked to speak to a manager was told there wasn’t one there and I could call him if I would like. I asked if there was another rep I could speak with that would actually listen to me and he said “ you can go back on the wait list if you want”

Not sure if this is the location “Steve” works at but I’ve never had anyone with a worst attitude. For some one who works in customer service he should know. You treat someone how to be treated. Not a happy man and seems MISERABLE with his life. Get some therapy if you have that much issues man. Leave personal stuff at home. All he cares about is his commission.

I would give 0 stars if I could! I will NEVER return to this North Charleston store again after what happen last night on 2/15/21! They are so rude and act like they don’t have the time to help you! I really needed a new SIM card (my phone was messed up for almost 2 days) I called Verizon to help me fix my phone they told me I would need to stop by a Verizon store to get a new SIM card and they put a note in the system about my phone problem. I work 12hr shifts from 7am-7:30ishpm the store closes at 8pm so I went to the closest store near my job which was this one! I left work earlier then I’m suppose to and arrived at the store at 7:20 leaving me 40 mins to just get a new SIM card that would of taken a matter of maybe 5 or 10 mins. So after standing outside the door for 15 20 mins waiting on someone to help me with a SIM card. An African American lady (I suppose the manager) came outside very rudely and said “What you need?” I said I just need a new SIM card. She said “You might as well come back tomorrow” I said I really just need a SIM card and was told to come to a store to get one. She said by who? I said Verzion I spoke with them on the phone and my phones been messed up for almost 2 days now I really need my phone back on and she said “okay and!!? It’s gonna be a while before I can help you” in the most rudely manner! I said okay I can wait. She said well it’s gonna be like 15mins or more rolling her eyes at me like I was gonna take up all her time and make her have stay after work late. So I was like you know what just forget it and Rushed to the Summerville location getting there 10mins before they closed. They were happy to help me without getting aggravated or being rude! So therefore this North Charleston location will never get my business again. I wish I would have got the name of this lady that was so rude. I highly doubt I’m the only one she’s rude to like this. She definitely don’t need to be working with the public with an attitude like that. Very poor customer service here! People pay to much money to Verizon to be treated like this. So maybe y’all want hire some better employees with some actually good customer service skills who aren’t so rude and then maybe people wouldn’t be switching to other phone companies! Employees treating customers like this is poor ratings for your company!

I just bought my son a new phone for Christmas and the front screen went out. You have a 1 year warranty with it and they would not cover it. It was just 2 months old. We are switching to T-Mobile. My husband needs a new flip phone and we do not want anything to do with this phone again. The next price up for a flip phone is over two hundred dollars. Their customer service is not like it was years ago and we have been with them a long time.

I am a Verizon customer from the Atlanta Market. I accompanied my sister 2 days ago. She upgraded her phone for an apple phone. I was quit impressed with Jericks high level of customer service displayed, during the process. He was patient, kind and professional. He was dedicated to ensuring that my sisters data was transferred to the new device. He went the extra mile and ensured that she had a understanding.In the future, when I am home visiting and have any problems I will drive to North Charleston without hesitation. I would say the service is comparable to the Atlanta market. This location is truly amazing. Each time I have visited whether with a family member or alone great customer service is the norm!I would not recommend the west Ashley location. I would advised customers to visit this location for the highest level of customer support!!!!

I was helped by Chris yesterday who for all intents and purposes was a nice person but unfortunately had my phone plan and account registration all messed up. For starters he told me that I had the Get More Unlimited Plan only to find out later on that he actually put me down for the Do More Unlimited Plan.The account registration for my phone number was not working at all, it worked for the second phone line on the account but not for my phone line which was the account owner. This eventually lead to me having to spend all day today and yesterday (a total of 9hrs!!) with 3 Verizon customer service reps who tried to help me resolve the issue but could not. Mind you throughout the timeframe I am being placed on hold for more than 1hr!!!. But it gets even better the customer rep tells me to go to the verizon retailer store that I signed up through and that they will help me. Well lo and behold I get there today and they say We do not deal with account registration links that is through the customer service reps.They didnt even try to help me out just kept saying Call the customer service line. They could have at least called the customer service line while I was there and helped me to resolve this issue.Eventually I was able to reach a customer rep online via chat today and get the issue resolved which only took that rep 1hr. This issue could have been avoided if they did it right the first time at the store or resolved it when I was there in person. Also upon chatting with the customer rep online they also notified me that something was wrong with my billing and that it was to high in price, amazingly and graciously they were able to get this resolved as well.In closing I have had a really bad experience with this Verizon retailer and would recommend anyone who goes there to not be assisted by Chris. Also what is the point of signing up through a retailer if they will only point you to online customer reps for problems that you have.

We we’re having some trouble with transferring and he didn’t give up. He stayed with us, was very patient. Got everything set up and good to go. We loved him. Andy was great in helping me decide on what phone to purchase and explaining my plan changes with the purchase. Previous Version sales staff have always set up my phone while in the store. I was handed the phone in the box and told when I got home all I had to do was turn it on. I went to the car and then realized I needed internet to completely set up my new phone. I went back and asked if I could come in to use the internet so I’d have a useable phone since I would not be going home for hours. The woman employee would not let me back in store and could care less that my phone had not been set up. Guess all they cared about was making a sell and not good customer service!

Even the response to this review from Verizon was typical of the service that they provide. Not one time did they ask me to come back in to try and correct the poor service. If this is typical of the service you receive at a corporate store then I am certainly going to change my service.This has to be of of the worst businesses I have been to to try and buy something. While they had plenty of help, serving customers was not one of their priorities it seemed to me. They have no way to let them know you are interested in trying to buy a new phone. There was no one at the door to take your name as in the past. While waiting for someone to help me another customer who they all seemed to know came in and they all started talking to her instead of offering to wait on me as I was ahead of this person. Finally, one of the associates offered to put me on the list to be waited on. All the time they continued to wait on this person that arrived much later than I did and this was multiple associates not just one. The associate that finally offered to put my name on the list told me where the phone I was asking about was in the store and I went to that area she arrived a moment later and when I asked a question about the phone she told me she had just put my name on the list and someone else would help me. After all the associates seemed to disappear into the back and no one offered to help me purchase a new phone I decided to leave. I would have given them a zero star if this was allowed.

We were ripped off by a salesman at this store. We opened a new line with purchase of a new iPhone xr last year 2019 March and the salesman offer a second iPhone for free with bill credit for the second phone. We got it but we never saw the credit, so after 1 year now we paying for both phones full price. Spending hours on the phone with customer services didn’t help because they don’t even see such a promotion at this time of the year.Very disappointed, after so many years of being a customer.

I went to Verizon to possibly get a new cell phone because the coverage has been horrible and I was assuming my phone was the problem. The customer service rep quickly explained that the company was experiencing tower issues and he advised me not to purchase a new cell phone but contact customer service about a booster. Ask for Boston. He has the classic salesmanship. He wants your repeat business not the onetime big sale. He understands customer loyalty and helping the customer save versus over selling them and only makes recommendations never implies needing unnecessary add-ons. Ive had terrible experiences with other Verizon shops and so has my wife. We only will now go speak to Boston for help and anything else Verizon related.

Ordered new Samsung Galaxy Note 9phone online on Black Friday morning at 50% off, then when I got email later saying it was ready for pick up I drove over to the location I had wanted and showed my ID & they handed me my bag w phone. Overall I did like it. They told me how many people in front of me and about how long it would be. Once my name was called it was fast, friendly, and helpful. The only bad thing is they had a tv on for the kids... Nickelodeon, but no sound and this kid next to kept whining why is there no sound, there should be sound, and I cant read that fast. They should had on the sound so the kids can listen and enjoy it. If it is low enough it becomes a background noise, but the kids can sit in front of it and be quite.

I went in to have them look at my phone again. Previously had gone in, gentleman was very helpful, replaced my sim card and told me if it didnt fix the problem to come back and they would send off for a replacement phone. Well when I went in this time, I got a representative that didnt want to help but told me that my apple care had expired and I would have to take it to where I bought it (which was Best Buy). I took it to Best Buy and they said I had Apple Care until 2020. Apparently this woman just didnt want to help me. So much for customer service. The sad part is we have been a customer with Verizon for years and years. We might be rethinking that real soon.

We bought 2 phones, there were never connected to my account, my old phone Samsung S8(in perfect condition) then transferred to my daughter did happen!!! My mothers account, was supposed to be turned off as she came to my plan, ended up having to pay an extra month, because the staff didnt turn her account off!! I have been a loyal customer, since it was Bell Atlantic, thats a very long time, this is the 1st time in all of my experience that everything went through, and it took 3 days to get all the kinks worked out.

I upgraded my phone at this yesterday and returned it the next day. Antonia told me with full confidence that I would be able to use the same charger for my old phone with my new device. This was a lie. Furthermore, the phone could not transfer the data from my old phone. It also failed to activate. It also failed to use wifi calls so I could attempt to activate with customer service. When I returned the phone he had no memory of me asking about the charger which was my first concern. They were happy to charge me a restocking fee and had no remorse whatsoever.

The customer service here has been horrible each time i come in. Today, I had to wait more then 30 mins to make a payment. The person who checked in after me was being helped before me. This is the third time (within a span of two months) happening that people checking in after me are being helped. I asked two different employees how much longer and one didn’t even acknowledge me when i asked him. I asked another employee if there was a manager i could speak to and the manager never came to check in with me. I asked the employee who helped me why the person before me gotten assistance and during the assistance, she wasn’t helpful or provided great service. The employee who helped me not once apologized for the long wait or helped me resolved my bills or helped me with the questions. I’m very disappointed.

Horrible. Just left Verizon, went to purchase an Iphone 11 and case for the price of $844. I was given the option to pay in full or do payments. I offered to put $400 down.The balance then would have been $444. When I was going to put $400 down, I was then told by Ashleigh (my sales rep) I owe $544. Prior to this dealing I verified that there were NO additional fees or charges etc. I then asked her to disclose where the extra $100 came from. She had no response and told me that was the Verizon system. I then asked again if there were any additional fees to my purchase and she told me no again. She then brought over the manager who did not have a reason for the extra $100 either. I was then told that it was the Verizon billing system once again. When I was asking the simple question where the $100 was coming from, my sales rep, Ashliegh, started becoming very rude and impolite towards me. The manager told me that it was the Verizon billing system and that is how the computer worked. I then showed her the math with the added taxes and it still came to $844 before everything was then put into the computer. The manager told me that the math did not work that way. So, after neither the sales rep nor the manager were able to disclose where the $100 was coming from, I then asked to pay for it in full. The manager then refused to sell it to me for the price it was with me paying in full. Although that option was provided to me prior to the manager coming over in the beginning with Ashleigh. That was the worse customer service I have experienced.I then went to Best Buy and there was a couple there who had just left the same store I was at. They were offered an $100.00 discount buying the same phone as me at the Best Buy store not at the Verizon. The Best Buy Rep said that the discount was applicable to personal accounts. My question is how does a third-party re-seller have options that the store itself does not have ? The Best Buy Rep said that it was strange I was not provided with this discount at the Verizon store because Best Buy had the discount; then Verizon should have also. When I made my purchase with Best Buy, I was provided with better customer service and no unexplained or hidden fees. I made a clean and clear purchase at Best Buy for the price of $670.00 (same merchandise) which Verizon should have honored when I was there prior.Thanks BEST BUY!! Boston was great, but Tameka was unprofessional, in appearance and customer service. I hope Boston becomes a manager, because he had to go above her to help me. Don’t go there unless you go to see Boston! I always thought management was to diffuse, not look on with a apathetic glazed look.

I was having issues with that charger port on my Galaxy Nexus and went there to get it replaced since I had it less than a week. I was greeted with a warm piece of paper on how to file an insurance claim that has a 100 dollar deducible. I have been coming to this location for a long time and referred many people to that location because I have never had an issue ...until yesterday. I explained to them that I get 3 phones an year and never have this issue. I even asked to speak to the manager who greeted me with a warm there is nothing we can do since you damaged it. There are only a few persons there that are helpful. (Greg and Carlos are great) I commend them for this service and I will only deal with them if I ever go back there.. By the way, they were not working on that day. I wish they were.
