Always enjoy going to the Good Will. I do believe the prices are way more expensive then they should be. Cheaper to go to a thrift store. But I enjoy the variety And i like the 50% color of the day,and its not too bad if you only shop that color that day.
This location is pretty clean, freshly renovated and plenty of parking is available. The clothes are organized nicely. I was surprised that there is a section for home goods as well. If you have items to donate, there is a nice drop off area on the left side of the building. Someone will come out with a bin to place your items in.
I bought a skirt and slip and 3 shirts for $23. The majority of clothing items were good quality and priced accordingly. I like that some dish sets were bundled and priced as a bundle. Loved the prices on lamps. Not a lot of furniture and housewares, but what they had was in good shape (I havent been to Goodwill a lot recently, so it could be a lack of donations due to recent events). Definitely a go-to for clothing and shoes, though (the shoes looked brand-new! And there were lots of them!). Clean store, too. Bathroom was clean and only 1 dressing room hadnt been cleared yet, and the floors werent cluttered and the racks were neat. Overall this is a nice store.
Its a new store, so its pretty clean, but prices are stupid and same or more than retail, go ahead and buy retail for what they are charging and save the trip here.
I love shopping this store, Good will stores are a great bargain places. I have found many of my lighting and decor goods here.
Great place 2 shop. Clerk was courteous & extremely helpful. Enjoyed visit.
I hate the new pricing system- the cost of everything went sky-high. Shows for9.00? Those are not thrift store prices. Also can’t stand the new gigantic price stickers. They are terrible to remove and ruin every book. The Rewards system is cheap-most other counties give you a percentage off coupon. Also they should offer extra points fornot using bags likeOther neighboring counties . Finally the outlet should give you points on your card like the Akron one does
This is my favorite goodwill - always the best as far as selection, price, organization, cleanliness and friendliness. Today however, I was so disappointed in the glassware prices. I had found great items over the past year for the great prices that you expect from goodwill and today found a couple scratched up, ruined color bowls for $12 and one particular one in good condition, but for $25.69? I’ve gotten furniture from goodwills for less than that. I’ve never seen prices this crazy from goodwill before and hope this is not what I can come to expect or I won’t see how it makes sense to shop here. I thought Goodwill was for bargain donated goods, not greedy corporate price gouging :(
Pretty upset with how I was treated today. For one I used to work through Goodwill so I know there is typically a “donor door” person usually greeting people with donations. Nope- I walked in wondering where anyone who even worked there was. I looked everywhere for someone to figure out what bin I need to use for my donation. I put the stuff down and went into the right where there was two employees watching me walk around confused and said absolutely nothing. Goodwill depends on sales to fund their employees. I was disappointed and will NEVER go there again.I’ll stick to the one in Canal Fulton. Much more organized and they actually care about their customers.
Prices are 3 to 5 times higher than summit County goodwill locations. 6-8 dollars for a second hand kids dress? Get the heck out of here. Summit County has a standard 2.79 per clothing item for kids. Your inventory is DONATED to you.
It is a very clean and organized store. The staff is also very friendly. I always enjoy shopping here.
Definitely one of the best stores for my needs. I’m known by name at other stores, but I don’t get a smile or any acknowledgement of any kind. I think I once was followed. The clerk I keep getting seem very rude or unhappy. I can’t tell. I don’t go there to socialize anyway. Some prices in different departments are higher than most stores, but not my particular merchandise. It has awesome prices on the items I want. Work on people skills and it’s easily a five star rating.
Visited the Jackson Goodwill yesterday. What a nice, neat and organized store. I found a few good bargains. I like this Goodwill store.
Nice store, good selection. Some stuff over priced.
Raised their prices again. For broken junk and stained clothes. Price of a name brand hoodie is getting to be the same as a new one from Marshalls. I wont be going back for a long time. Which is sad bc I visit 2-3 Goodwills a week.
It is merely okay. The aisles could stand to be twice as wide, because all it takes is one person with a shopping cart to make an aisle completely impassable. This makes for an incredibly slow and annoying shopping experience. Even if you notify the person blocking you that theyre in your way, they have no where to go to get out of the way.I actually had circumstances where I was in an aisle looking something when a person had come up behind me with their cart. A person in front of me had a cart. I literally was trapped in the aisle. This has happened numerous times.
The second time I have been disrespected here. A younger guy . Rude and threatening demeanor. He kept taking his mask off talking to other women. They were spraying disinfectant and dusting under my nose. Busy putting clothes out and huddling together. Too bad they didnt bother putting them where they belonged. Not happy with this place. No respect.
Terrible service, sky high prices. They claimed my mask wasnt good enough and denied my husbands MEDICAL DISABILITY.
Literally the most expensive Goodwill I’ve ever stepped in. They have a lot of nerve trying to charge the amounts they’re charging for DONATIONS. I hope they pay their employees triple What other goodwill locations pay their’s because that’s what their prices are.Never will I ever come back to this location. Wow.
Always find something or a good deal everytime
Phenomenal place to shop and browse...
Very crowded, un- organized and the staff didnt seem very friendly.
How long is an acceptable amount of time to wait in line to purchase items? I decided to give this Goodwill ANOTHER try with the hope that they have become more aware of their customer service. Unfortunately, that has been anything but the case! This time I waited for 10 minutes without moving a single person in line before I gave up and left without purchasing anything in my cart. I figured after looking at the person in front of me with a cart full of items - Id be there 35-40 minutes before Id get to check out. NO EXAGGERATION!Yet again, only one of many registers was open. They were using it to train a new employee who was only able to work at snails pace. There was a woman who appeared to be a manager of some sort standing behind the trainee making sure he was doing things correctly. The manager did repeatedly looked over at us waiting in line - but failed to do anything to expedite check out for us.I understand the need to train new employees. That being said - be respectful and appreciative of your customers during that process and have a second register open.I visit Goodwills all over the state of Ohio during my travels. This is the ONLY Goodwill for which I have written negative reviews.(Prices on glassware at this Goodwill location are significantly higher than others I visit too.)
Usual good will., And usual prices, never spotted anything I wanted but people can still buy other stuff
They got many different clothes
Best Goodwill around!!
Store has a wide variety of merchandise, but holy cow the checkouts can be slow - especially when a trainer-type person was hogging the attention of the checkout staff, talking about things that had NOTHING to do with checking people out. I watched her interrupt the slowest guy on duty to tell him how to ring Halloween merchandise, even though the woman trying to check out had nothing Halloween-related. While there were people in line! Save your training for when no ones in line please. Then SHE opened another register and served people that were behind me. Ill still go there - but please be aware of who was in line first, and save your micro-managing for a non-busy time.
Clean store, sizes clearly marked, large inventory. The prices... ridiculous! Its a Goodwill store...$11.00 for a tank top from Walmart? Everything in clothing is overpriced.😔
Clean store with clean clothing. Yes, they wash and dry the donated clothing before they put it out for sale! Unless its new with tags or dry clean only.I actually asked them. Now i know why this thrift store doesnt smell like an old shoe. Its small but they have quality items donated by locals.
Not always the greatest selection, at least for what I shop for. Seems to cost more than others in the area. Its all right but I dont come often.
This is my favorite Goodwill! Friendly staff and good merchandise! Lots of Target and Kohls items are brand new. Very clean store as well.
They do not share the Summit county and Portage county goodwill card. Stark county has their own. Nice store, friendly people.
Prices recently went up - but still able to find decent items!
Always kind workers when I visit, well organized, super selection of merchandise...love supporting Goodwill in our community and appreciate this beautiful location in North Canton!
The store is clean and organized. The workers are friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping there.
I had went up awhile back and had a bad experience but thanks to the lovely managers on new years day Alexia and Kelly for all their help and kind generosity i will be shopping there again and refering this location to others!!! Alexia and Kelly You earned 5☆ from me!!!
Excellent selection of mens clothing, much better than other area Goodwill stores. Nice pricing and extra savings on specials.
Quality and cleanliness.
More expensive than any other Goodwill Ive been at, but its very clean and organized.
Very nice store. It has an upscale retail feel to it.
The one and only black woman that was in there was the nicest person Ive ever met she made the store good place to shop
Was great. I can usually find what I am looking for there. They have a wonderful selection.
Very nice staff very well organized toy department the neatest one that I have ever seen in a second hand store the rest of the store was also very clean and well-organized 👍💜
9 times out of 10.. I find what I am looking for.
Nice new store but the jeans I loved smelled like cat urine 😡
Good prices good products.Nice to see, for lack of a better description a handicap worker .Orgenized
Very nice and clean Goodwill. Its a brand new building so it looks very nice.
Nice clean stuff little high on prices especially for area!
This Goodwill is great. We found a pretty decent sized tv stand for $5. We didnt get that one, though. We got a tv stand with a piece like a lazy susan on top so that we can turn the tv to us without pushing the tv. That on was $20 and was well worth it.
This Goodwill is the most expensive one that I have visited in different states, the prices on many of the furniture especially if these are new, they are the same as a new furniture store, the attraction of going to Goodwill is that you can find a treasure at a very good price because it is a non-profit store, thats why I give it 3 stars, in what refers to other things some if they are expensive but you can also find good prices too, it is a very clean store and organized, the way of exhibiting the clothes is very attractive because it is by colors and sizes, the current employees are very kind, I appreciate that they moved the previous employees who had a very ugly way of attending, you can not find things for teenagers and there is no a lot for children and babies.
Good thrift store.
Very nice, alot better than the former north Canton goodwill and bigger too.
Always great finds at this location!
Whats the deal with the price increases? Some of the shirts marked $6.49 were probably purchased new for less than that! I dont know how theyre going to make a profit when no one wants to pay these prices for used clothing.
I was to the understanding that new goods can be returned if there was something wrong with it. This store said no taking business somewhere else.
Disappointing return policy. No returns after 5 days.
Decent selection some priced a bit high but overall a value
Selection was pretty good. Checkout was on the slower side, one poor worker was getting swamped with the line.
Well organized, pleasant work staff, and great manager. It is my favorite Goodwill store!
Awesome, best Goodwill around! Clean and organized!
Nice store, but could be better here, employees are rude dont look happy, not helpful, and things are cluttered and a mess hard to look around
Great new location, clean and large parking lot
Awesome service! Nice cloths!
Best goodwill I have ever shopped in!!
Lotsa variety at a reasonable price for a good cause
Too small of a place to social distance!
Some really good finds.
Goods were only fair quality. Some were better than others, but nothing fantastic.
Love it
There is often new items so every time I go I find something new. Its clean. Staff is friendly. 😁
Great selection and service
Nice place to keep spouse busy
The store is beautiful, staff is wonderful, and everyone is friendly
Prices are getting a little high...they do not sell bathing suits in January either, bummer.
Its got all the usual negatives of a Goodwill, and its a run down messy hole in the wall kind of place. No wonder theyre building a new one.
Always high quality selections
Always have what I am looking for!!
Best goodwill around!
Once again, I had to wait over 15 mins in line to pay. Once again, only 1 of the many registers were open.I will think twice before choosing to shop at this location in the future.
Good bargain shopping.
GO ❤️
