Many times we go to a furniture store and think that we buy the perfect mattress. But instead we buy mattress that make us want to return them in 3 months. Salesman David was very nice and tried to get us a good price but was not very flexible when it came to negotiations. I have purchased several mattresses from Mattress Firm in Manhattan and the last purchase we bought the most expensive mattress in the store. The salesperson in Manhattan was very flexible and worked with us. David from North Bergen wouldn’t do that. He said he would throw in free delivery but delivery would’ve come free anyway. I had a $50 coupon that was given to me online for use on any purchase of $499 but David said it kept coming back as an error. I wasn’t there to see if that was true or not. He should’ve given me the $50 off anyway and overrode the error message. I’m going to try and see if it works in Manhattan. If it does I’ll cancel my order in North Bergen. Another small and seems insignificant thing was that they never offered us water ( they have always given us bottled water at the Manhattan stores) and when we asked they only brought out one bottle when there were 2 of us. Nice manners would help when someone is spending $1000.

I had a great experience at Mattress Firm.. The woman who assistants my bf and myself was awesome I forgot her name but she was wonderful!! We went to the North Bergen facility on 88th and Tonnelle st in the Wal-Mart shopping center. She took her time with us and let us basically sit and lay on every bed until we made our final decision😊I am very pleased with the service she presented us with and her attitude was very uplifting and honest!! Went to the store with my mom this weekend looking for a simple mattress and walked out with two new adjustable beds and a mattress. Felix was a joy to work with. He handled our situation with care and made sure to answer all our questions. He sold my mom on the adjustable bed when he said it vibrated which would help with the pain in her legs and hips. He even got me hooked in when he showed how good the bed works on the lower back for expecting mothers like myself. Excellent customer service. He truly cared about us and not just making a sale!

I bought a bed for an aggregate sum of USD2,000.00. I paid it in full upfront. The salesperson, Jairo Jose Martinez-Jimenez, told me that they always deliver to the condominium where I live, Galaxy Towers. That he would take care of everything.Much to my shock, I just received a notification 24 hours before they were to deliver, and no arrangements had been made to reserve the elevators.I rushed to the store and another salesperson assisted me. His name is Felix. He gave me his cellphone number and we agreed to call each other the following day, while I would be at the office of Galaxy Tower to reserve the elevator. I called him from the office of Galaxy the following day and it was agreed that the bed would be delivered on 15 December, and I made the reservation for the elevator. It was agreed that Felix would arrange to email the Certificate of Insurance to Galaxy Tower, which is a precondition for the delivery.Much to my disappointment, I received an urgent message from Galaxy Tower today, 14 December, informing me that the Certificate of Insurance had not been sent as promised by Felix.I called Felix on his cellphone and he started yelling at me. He said that I should not be condescending and that the COI (Certificate of Insurance) had been mailed several days ago. He even claimed that he had sent me a copy thereof. When I asked him to re-send it to me, he did not even know my cellphone number. Nor could it dig it out of his records.He sent me a copy of the email forwarding the COI sent to several recipients, including Galaxy Tower BUT NOT INCLUDING ME.I had no way of knowing that the COI had been sent if I was never copied with their emails. I had every right to ask about this since I am the buyer, and the Galaxy Towers had informed me that they did not receive the COI.The behavior of Felix is totally unacceptable to me. Does Mattress Firm condone this kind of behavior?

Great experience! Investing in a good bed requires testing, when me and my partner went in to purchase our first bed together, we felt no pressure to purchase anything . Walked in just to look at inventory. Was greeted politely and professionally by the manager, Thomas. Again, I mentioned I was there just to look, and was not pressured into buying. My wife and I, after looking around for a bit, found a mattress we were interested in. We asked Thomas about financing, and were thrilled when we found out we qualified. Our queen sized mattress was delivered the next day, but the box spring wouldnt make the turn at the top of our steps. I called Thomas, and he said I would need a split box frame, with an understood and agreeable extra charge due to its convenience. The following day, I received a callback from Thomas and I was thrilled when he said he was able to waive the additional charges, including the secondary delivery fee. Overall, an excellent and pleasant experience, and extremely satisfied.

Sales representative sold me a product out of stock that would get him more commission and had to reschedule and reorder something else. Has been almost a week and a half waiting for it to come And been sleeping with my mattress on the floor when he told me it would be ready by the time I moved in. Unhappy with service.

I recently purchased a mattress from Luis. The timing of the delivery was difficult as I was just moving into my new home the same day. I had to call Luis the day before and ask him if the delivery time could be moved up due to mitigating circumstances.
