One of the better Stop & Shops. Clean and well kept. Fresh foods, and a very friendly team of staff. I wish all their stores were as well managed as this one!

Great store, but noticed that the cranberry juice without sugar, which is healthier, is priced $1 MORE than the sugared, less healthy offering. Same Producer, same sizes and numbers of containers. This seems contrary to the healthy mantra SS boasts.

I love going to this grocery store. They have everything from groceries, to flowers, make up and delicious Bakery Goods to a nice pharmacy. It is always very clean, well-organized and stocked.I love there small clearance section on fruits and vegetables. They put one day old fruits and vegetables in a package, mark it at $0.79 a pound and sell them. Its an amazing way to get awesome food!They also have some beautiful bouquets of flowers there.When I first moved back to Massachusetts from North Carolina I went to their Pharmacy and asked if they took my insurance card so I could get the flu shot. Unfortunately they didnt accept my card however they offer a program where everybody gets a free flu shot! Isnt that awesome? They gave me a quick complementary flu shot :-)I probably go here three times a week. I would highly recommend it.

Very clean, my daughter loves the robot. :) I also think the prices are pretty reasonable and the meat is fresh and affordable. Great selection of fruits and veggies. And an impressive section for special diet needs such as gluten free and vegan. You can also earn points for free gas. You really cant beat it.

Stopped in for crab legs they advertised for 10.99 a lb. The seafood dept. Told me the hadnt had those in months. Then the manager laughed at me and told me to try the N.Y. store. I will not be returning

Great Stop & Shop! Has all the usual Stop & Shop products. They also have the fun use-while-you-shop handheld scanners and the cute futuristic robot cleaner which is always followed around by one or two children grinning with fascination while they torture the poor thing as it tries desperately to stay out of their way and about running anyone or anything over. Gotta love S&Ss innovation and creativity! Certainly helps to make them stand out above other grocery chains and makes shopping there a more enjoyable experience!

Their meat sales are great very good quality meat and fish. Other prices on food are a little high but youll always pay more for the better products.

I used to shop in here all the time and use the scan it app while I was shopping. As of the past few months I get audited nearly every time I go. This is inconvenient and half of the employees dont know how to perform it. Its gotten to the point where Ive had to walk a few of thier staff on how to do it.

Good selection of fruits, vegetables, and grocery items. However, numerous mistakes on sale items which dont scan properly. I have to go back to store frequently for refunds. That makes me furious. How many people never check their receipts for mistakes? The stores makes lots of money with this going on.

There meat and fruit is always fresh worth the extra price. There is never a line but the service is not that good when you need help with products.

Staff is at helpful and friendly, sometimes I run into people I know. Its nice to feel like part of a community. I dont love grocery shopping but this is a fine experience.

Best grocery store in the area. They have the best fresh fruit available anywhere. They have come a long way since I worked there 15 years ago. Prices are much more reasonable and the options are vast. They have a great seasonal section too.

I have to admit that Stop & Shop is not my usual go to for groceries, but where I happen to be staying now it is the closest grocery store so I gave it a try. I was really impressed with the organic / Health Food /gluten free section of the store. I bought a 3-pound bag of Mandarin oranges along with several other things, and the next day when I had my first orange out of the bag I thought it was a little on the mushy side, but didnt think too much about it. The next day I went to grab another orange, and it was a bit moldy. When I checked through the bag I noticed a few more that had a little bit of mold on them. I was really surprised when I brought them back to the store and not only did I get my money back, but I got twice the cost of the oranges back. The gal at the customer service desk explained to me that that is their policy for fresh produce. They pride themselves on fresh produce and guarantee our satisfaction. I was thrilled!

When Im in town its the best place to shop, the produce is fresh, the meat selection is great the staff is friendly and the store is clean and organized. Great job done by all. Keep up the good work.

Stop & Shop is probably the best large supermarket chain in New England. This store loses a star due to the lack of the fantastic organic section seen at other locations. They still have a fair bit of organic items mixed in, though not nearly as many as other locations. Otherwise, usual friendly and helpful staff, selection, and overall very good experience you would expect from Stop & Shop. Still better than most other stores in Pittsfield.

Most vegan friendly grocery store in North Adams. A little pricey, but worth it for the selection, and sales are good if you time it right. Points off for the weird robots that roam the store, theyre very intimidating, and theres no explanation for why theyre moving around the store. Wish there were vegan bakery options.

Good selection of regular and fancier goods. The deli department gives excellent service. Some things are in less intuitive places, but overall store layout is good. Staff are helpful and polite.

The North Adams Stop & Shop is a very clean and organized store, but it has severe downfalls. It has the best deli and overall vegetable section in town and offers a very nice selection of cheeses and Boars Head top-quality products. Unfortunately, all of this comes at a premium cost - Stop and Shop is very expensive and will stress the budget of those on a fixed or limited income such as myself. For the same price as a collection of foodstuffs for a single dinner for two, I can half-fill my shopping cart at Aldi in Bennington or Pittsfield with equal quality. It has its ups and downs, and is definitely more catered to those with ample resources.

Lousy attitude of most employeesThe store is clean, they have a good selection, it could be a great store if cashiers didnt spend 20 minutes talking with their friends about politics, while keeping the line waiting. Then they are snotty to others in the line who ask simple questions. I saw a young man in the bakery be sarcastic to woman with kids, until the lady manager Ann, came over and intervened. She was wonderful, one of the few in the store that smiled, answered questions, and made eye contact. Most of the others avoid eye contact and move away whenever someone tried to ask a question. The meat department, and deli have good people, but produce, grocery, cashier, and the heavy young man in the bakery are anywhere from rude to just unhelpful.

This is a pretty big store. They have good deals, but definitely want to shop for just the deals and what ever else is on sale! They are a little pricey.

Fresh produce,bakery and meat departments. Boars Head is sold at the deli and the only one in town who has it. A bank and a pharmacy with very competitive prices.

A relatively large supermarket (for the towns population), this place has a wide selection of groceries and fresh produce that are a lifesaver for students at Williams College off the dining plan or who get tired of dining hall food and feel like cooking.

The best grocery store in North Adams right now. Its far cleaner and newer than the Big Y in the center of town. While not quite as cheap as Walmart overall, the prices are much more reasonable than Big Y. It doesnt have quite the variety or selection as the larger Pittsfield Stop & Shops but its still considerably better than the Walmart. The gas rewards program is a real plus as well since you can redeem them at any Shell or Stop & Shop gas station.

Convenient shopping with tons of selection. The produce isnt always the freshest but I guess in Massachusetts thats life?
