The job was replacing an opener on one of my garage doors.Dustin arrived on time, after giving me notice he was on his way. He set to work promptly assessing the situation and started work immediately when I told him what I wanted done. He worked steadily until he finished the job, which took a few hours. I would recommend this company (and Dustin Ridge) to anyone who needs work on a garage door or opener! I will call them first if I ever need this kind of help (Heaven forbid I should have another power surge!) again.

Fred G and Collin installed my new garage door and they were excellent. They got to my house when they said they would and had my door up in a couple hours. Very nice guys. One of the panels had something on it that wouldn’t come off and Fred G as already had them call and set an appointment to change out the panel. Excellent service!!

Overall good, but dont believe the $89 for door repairing on ad, the roller quality is not good, ended up with $370 for replacing 10 good rollers and lube, already after coupon.Professional but expensive.

Great experience. The garage door would not automatically open or close. That was the easy part to fix. I asked the technician to evaluate the whole assembly as the unit was 7 years old and had not had a yearly maintenance done during that time. The technician answered every question I asked in a clear yet detailed manner. He inspected every component and described the mechanics, function and importance of each one. There was never a hint of high pressure salesmanship. Just information, questions & answers, and discussion. I authorized the upgrades and replacements I wanted. Our garage wouldn’t open so we call Precision. Ryan was my technician. He was great! Super professional, he explained in great detail about our issue and his steps to resolve it. He suggested some upgrades and we love it!!

Disappointed considering the other reviews and price. Price was $1600 for cables, rollers, springs, rod, and smart opener installed. Door works and overall installation is decent, but they took a chunk of concrete out of my garage floor and never mentioned it, used my ladder the entire time and didn’t even wipe it down, took the functional opener when they were done, the wiring job at the sensors looks amateur, and they didn’t even sweep up the floor when they were finished.Overall, I’m happy it was done quickly and they were nice, but this is one guy, 4 hours of labor, and maybe $600 of parts at list price, so I thought the execution would be better.

I called Precision Garage for a service call. The representative said it would be $59.99 to come out and it would be included in the total service job. I set up for the technician to come out. The Technician came and only did maintenance and installed a light bulb. The total cost for that was $377.00. I was very very disappointed. I was also charged 2 maintenance fees of $89.00. Why would a company charge two maintenance fees. The $59.99 charge for coming out was not on the bill at all. I will never use this company again. Their service charges are entirely too expensive.

Scott and Wayne replaced my 33 year old wood double garage door after a disastrous DIY effort. They called before arrival, and were VERY courteous and professional. They disassembled and removed the old door within 20 minutes, and assembled the new door, rails, springs, and had the new door installation completed within two hours of arrival. They worked with such efficiency that I couldn’t stop watching. I highly recommend!

Garage Door ReplacementPrecision Door did a wonderful job replacing our garage door. We didnt originally set out to have the door replaced. We chose Precision to repair a broken spring. During the repair we wanted to explore options for replacement. They sent a very patient person out a few days after the repair. He knew his stuff and went through the entire catalog, explaining every type of door they sell.It had to be ordered (Covid delay), but it came in before we expected it to.Our installers, Craig and Fred, were very professional, wore masks/gloves, were ON TIME, and didnt leave until ALL of the job was finished. This included cleaning up, making sure that we knew how to use the door and keypad, had our codes programmed, etc. Craig was VERY patient as we couldnt decide how the accents were going to be installed on the outside of the door.They were very careful with removal of the old opener system, since we wanted to use it again on another door. They saved every nut and bolt for reuse.We even received a Military discount.Would I use them again?5 stars arent enough to say how happy we were with the experience.We already have plans in the works for another door, Precision of course. We really hope that we get the same installers.

My door will open and close on most days. However,some days it struggles closing as if something is in the pathway. I called them out twice and neither times were they able to diagnose what is going on.

Andres came out to check on our doors when we had issues with one of them closing. He did a quick check and advised that it was likely a one off but there were some services he’d recommend - all of which he was clear were non-essential. I ended up asking him to do all of the work he recommended, as well as install one new garage opener. He did everything quickly, efficiently and was super nice. The new opener is amazing. I’m sure we’ll have Andres back soon to replace the opener on our other side very soon. A++ for Andres.This is the second time I have used Precision and I will continue to use them anytime I need work done on our garage doors.

My initial installation wasn’t the most professional experience, which I had to call Precision back to have a technician return to correct some minor issues almost two weeks later. My tech, Dustin arrived to replace the torsion spring which broke the night before. He was prompt, professional and polite.He inspected the door and hardware, made recommendations, with explanations, for replacements and also have me a choice for some upgrades. Based on what was needed I chose the most basic package and he got to work right away.The final price was a bit more than I expected, but our current garage door and parts is 13 years old and I figured it probably getting time to replace some of the parts anyway.Overall it was a great value and weve got peace of mind once again.

Excellent experience with garage door installation, except they did not program my car remote. In process of my trying to program car I erased garage remote programming. 13 days after installation they charged me another $150 to come reprogram. Seems excessive after paying over $3,000 for garage door.

I purchased a special order garage door so I had to wait a few weeks for its arrival; however the team at Precision remained professional and courteous. On the installation day the installers, Fred and Charles, arrived early. They were professional and thorough. Fred went above the norm when he ran into a problem and found water damaged wood in the place where my new garage door bracket was to be installed. He initially said that he shared a picture with his boss and that he couldnt complete the installation. This was a dilemma because my old garage door had been removed and simply I couldnt leave my garage open and unsecured. After investigating further, Fred found a solution. I had two wood studs in my basement and I went and bought a 2 by 6 piece of treated lumber. Fred measured and cut the boards, replaced the damaged wood and completed the job. He explained how to care for the door and he and Charles answered several questions that were important to me. Thanks to these two professionals, my garage door purchase experience was pleasant and worth the wait.

Precision garage door has a great technicians! I’ve used them three times. Each time the technicians have called prior to arrival and are on time. They’re very knowledgeable, and professional. However, when talking to someone in the call center please confirm that the timeframe they’ve given you is correct. We had a little snafu, but all worked out. Brandon the technician was great! He showed up on time and fixed the garage spring. They’re a good company, work well, professional!

Precision Overhead Door sent a Technician same day as I called to evaluate and provide a firm estimate for repairs to my overhead garage door.Robert B, the Technician found I had a broken torsion spring. He further noted that my heavy wooden overhead garage door had stuck rollers. He worked up a cost estimate for items to be repaired/replaced and completed the repairs all in the same visit.I did read customer reviews for Precision Overhead Door before engaging them to do my repairs. Absolutely outstanding experience. I called around 9am, the technician was here around 1pm and I had brand new garage door openers within 3 hours! (The old pair were 18 years old, we were prepared to get new ones and were just waiting for the day they kicked the bucket.) I have dealt with so many contractors as we have fixed our house up and if all of them were like Precision it would have been such a pleasure. Robert was our technician and was fantastic.
