The staff is professional, helpful and personable! I always feel welcomed and taken care of. DJ is exceptional with remembering my taste in style! They have a good selection of jewelry to choose from and you can’t beat the warranties they offer! Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to store in niles oh. We were dressed very casual as it was our day off. We went in there prepared to spend a good chunk of change,however the man and woman working took one look at us and judged us so when ask what was our budget we said 50 bucks.. they then acted as if we were gonna rob the place. I was never so insulted,we will never shop there again,Zales got our business. I am telling all my friends not to shop there.

Everytime i have been there the same crew 8s there and I honestly love them. They were extremely patient, positive and professional with what seemed to be an unruly customer in my opinion. Everytime I go there I feel very welcomed, all my questions are answered. I honestly love this store, they helped myself and my now husband (both very indecisive) pick an engagement and wedding ring without feeling pressured and I will treasure it forever. Thanks guys

Absolutely terrible! I typically dont use this store because its out of the way for me, but I was out that way and noticed the prong on my ring was bent. I took it there over two weeks ago. I have called multiple times on multiple different days to check the status of my ring and no answer. I called Boardman and advised that this seems to be an ongoing issue with this store. I then went there because I couldnt get ahold of them after countless attempts. I called while I was staring into the store and the employees were standing around talking amongst themselves while the phone continuously rang. There were NO customers in the store! When i walked up and stood by the entry way to be let in, she kept me outside and I was not let in the store. The woman was terribly rude and told me my promise date is the 19th, but the slip I have states the 12th. I never received a call or anything. I am very displeased with the customer service at this location. I will NEVER return and will tell everyone I know to take their business to Boardman. Experience at Boardman is nothing less than awesome.

Repair service is a joke. My wife has had her ring maybe two months this year. The stone keeps falling out. The store does not care about getting this fixed correctly. But wants to sell you more jewelry. This store has been through a few managers this year. The store managers lie to you and act like they are doing you a favor. They do not follow up with anything. When you call they just repeat what they told a week or two ago. I called customer care number a few times and they are no help. They just call the store and tell them the same story. This time a I was able to leave a voicemail with the district manager, so I will see how that goes. We had a few repairs done now at Kay’s since Leroy’s closed. It is funny they were the same company but two totally different results. Kay’s repair service has been the worst experience. Every time she gets her jewelry clean and inspected with in the next week something breaks or stone falls out. The one manager told her to quit wearing her jewelry. I would not recommend this store to anybody.

No impressed. I understand Covid-19 has caused stores to change business hours, guidelines etc, but at least post your hours outside the on the door. I drove there 3 separate times, on different days, and they were closed. Getting married in a month and need a new ring ASAP. Never answer the phone, when they actually do answer- they put me on hold and then get hung up on. Called Boardman- they answered the phone, and said their hours are what is posted online. Going there instead- done with Eastwood.

I went to the niles location to return a bracelet and necklace that I had recently purchased. The bracelet had broken after one use by my wife, so the plan was to exchange both and upgrade the necklace. Upon entering the guy working to us both that we couldnt browse and that we had to sit down, and hed bring us the necklaces. I thought this was weird but passed it off for COVID behavior. He brings two necklace holders and asks my wife to choose. We both asked about the others and he said he couldnt bring them, only wanted an answer about those in front of us before he could bring the others. So we werent allowed to compare the necklaces. My wife has been treated like this in the past at both the niles and boardman locations, but this was my first and last time. We felt totally disrespected, but if a store doesnt want business from people like myself Ill take it elsewhere. Ill be closing my credit card for kay jewelry really soon!!

I would give a negative star if possible. I went there to make a purchase and while I was there I asked about my watch that I bought at a different Kays store and I got told that I should go back to the store I bought it from.... So going forward I will definitely never return to this store... Im a very unhappy customer.

If I could give them no stars, I would. I bought a $500 diamond ring about 2 years ago, paid for the warranty and about a month ago the entire setting fell out, diamonds and all. They wouldnt do anything for me unless I paid them for the whole setting and diamonds, which is insane considering I paid for the warranty. I didnt get upset or throw a fit, I just wasnt aware that you have to do the cleanings and inspections on the days they tell you to. So pretty much because I did the cleanings and inspections a month to late every 6 months, it was void. It was my very first diamond ring and meant a lot to me. Then just last week I had the exact same thing happen again! I had purchased a $200 ring last year and the entire diamond setting fell out yet again! And because I didnt get it cleaned/inspected on their specific dates, they wanted to charge me. I should of trusted all the reviews I had read prior to doing business with them. But unfortunately I ignored the bad reviews and thought maybe it was just some angry customers who wanted to bash them for whatever reason. The staff was always friendly and sweet, Im not upset with them at all. Its just the quality of the jewelry is garbage. And youd think the warranty would help to ensure things like this dont happen, because they inspect the jewelry. But thats just not the case. I was definitely heart broken with the first incident and just hoped it was a fluke and blamed myself for not reading the warranty thoroughly. But when it happened a second time, I was extremely disappointed and shocked that this could happen again. Unfortunately I wont be doing business with them ever again and am shopping around for a good reliable jeweler in the area. I actually debated whether or not to even give a review because Im not the type of person who gets off on giving a business 1 star. I just want to warn shoppers to do their research and make sure you thoroughly read and understand the warranty before making a purchase. Also, check out the reviews and see what others are saying. And if you see hundreds or thousands of bad reviews, take that into consideration. Theres no way all the bad reviews are trolls or angry customers who want a handout.. especially if theyre all saying the same thing or having the same bad experiences.

I waited to write this post to make sure I wasn’t emotionally charged. It’s been nearly 6 months now. They botched my engagement ring repair so badly, my white gold ring was splotched with yellow and the diamond rows were dipped and uneven. They were so condescending when I brought it up when I went to get it, I left in shame thinking I was wrong. My husband and mother in law were so appalled, they had me call customer service. I must say, Kay corporate was very concerned and called the manager for me, demanding a full replacement. I was so relieved.Shortly after, my husband (whose number was on the account) got a call from the Niles store. It was the manager. She was irritated and annoyed with him. She said that calling corporate was unnecessary, and we were being excessive. We didn’t talk back to her, and tried to be polite, but she was ready to fight with us over the phone. We made an appointment to get my replacement, and I was very anxious about going back there if she was already this hostile.The next day, we went to pick it up. I asked my husband to do the talking, as I was already upset and I dislike confrontation. When we said what we were there for, the managers face immediately dropped into a scowl. She started to speak very aggressively and condescendingly to me as she got the new ring out. I was quiet until she said “gold is mined yellow, not white, and you can’t expect the repair to be perfect.” I was floored. I am an educated person and I do not appreciate being talked down to, especially after spending good money there. I politely said that I know how gold works, and that I just wanted my ring so we could leave.With a sarcastic “have a nice day!” She handed me the ring and we left. We have not been back.The Kay’s in Alliance, OH, where we are now is so much better! If you had a bad time at Niles, DONT GIVE UP ON KAYS!!! Go to another store. I really think they are a good company that care about their customers. Maybe it’s just Niles and their employees that are rude and dismissive.I hope this helps!

I sent my ring out to be fixed because one of the diamonds fell out. It has been gone for almost three weeks. Today it was supposed to be back at the store for pickup. They said that they were going to call when it came in and was ready for pick up. They never called so I called them. They said that they got a shipment and to come in after work to pick it up. I go in and they said that it was not there. By far the worst service that I have ever had to deal with. Do not send your ring here to get fixed.

Giving this place one star is over rating. By far one of the absolute worst place to buy jewelry. Their warrenty plans are BS. I highly suggest never to go here. Id rather buy someone a candy ring pop, or a hard candy necklace.

The staff is helpful but the prices are marked up then given steep discounts to appear as though you are getting a great deal. Most jewelry stores of this type are owned by the same parent company so just give the staff you like.

Their repair work SUCKS. I warn you, do NOT take your jewelry here to be fixed. I did, 3 weeks after the repair, my stone fell out again. So, they send it out, and when I go to pick it up, no lie, I think it was worse off then when I set it in. So, now they have to send it out a THIRD time. If youre unaware of the time it takes to get your jewelry fixed, its about 2 weeks. So,during my less than 3 month marriage, Ive been without my ring for almost half if the time. Thanks Kay Jewelers.

DO NOT take your jewelery here. I gave them my engagement ring to get done and they messed it up THREE times. All I needed was it reacoated in black rhodium. They wouldnt let me get a refund or even give me copy of receipts so that I could have record of the work they did and take it elsewhere. They were not nice. They did not care. The manager is extremely rude. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I will never step foot in this place again.

The jewelry is beautiful, yet overpriced.The employees are pushy, degrading, and incompetent. They dont care to hear what you came in for unless it fits the price range that will give them the biggest commission. Oh and forget about them paying any attention to anything outside of the sale (their own pockets) because they dont. I had to have my wedding ring resized four times because they either sized me wrong or wrote the wrong size down each of the FOUR times. I didnt get my ring in the correct size for 3 months after my wedding. Their solution was just use it as a place holder on a necklace or something. The day my wife and I were married we couldnt even have the cute picture of us holding hands with our rings because the ring was 2 full sizes to big, and looked ridiculous.

My fiance and I had ordered my wedding ring from them. It came in today. Needed to be saudered together. Went and picked it up and got accused of stealing because Sean never rang out transaction before we left. As he said we needed to sign for the payment. Which we did. Sean was very rude to us and other employees. Heard him say to a co worker we werent his effing customers so he doesnt care. Will never go back for another damn thing. Especially after being accused of being thieves. When he handed us our rings. And walked us out store. I dont even want to give it 1 star because its not deserved. Then try to make it up with a lousy $100 gift card.. so pissed off
