I feel like some of their items are over priced. I have found the same items as them at my local dollar tree. Besides that, great staff who are very helpful. I couldnt find a particular item and they had called other stores for me. So great job of going above and beyond! Thanks for making my experience worth while

Just stopped in to have some balloons inflated (which it says on the voice message when calling you don’t need an appointment) and the first woman pointed me towards a line of 10 not moving with 1 cashier to place the order vs let me place he order and shop so then I asked another store manager who sharply told me it was a 3 hour wait to get balloons inflated. I asked politely so not sure why everyone was so curt except for them being short staffed. A simple recommendation to try the other location within a 15 minute drive would have been nice instead of being talked to like that. Luckily I knew there was another one which I called and they had no wait for inflation. Hopefully this store gets the staff they need to be able to meet customers needs and be able to at least respond politely when asked a question politely.

Me and my friend came the Party City in Skokie. It was a Saturday night. We looked at what time they close before entering and they closed at 9 pm. When we got there it had just turned 8 pm. Me and my friend walked around and looked at the Halloween decorations. Then an employee came up to us and asked us if we needed any help and we said no we are just looking. Then he responded oh because we are closed and proceeded to walk away. Me and my friend left but the door was locked and it wasnt even close to being 9. The employee had to come and unlock the door for me and my friend to leave. Overall the three stars was because of the employee. I came in the next day and I had a better experience.

Lots of Halloween stuff. Supplies for big parties. Many balloons. Not so much for small birthday parties.

They reduced their baking section a lot but they have some nice cake decorations but I wish they had more.

Store from Niles9471 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714Alexi store Manager was very, very rude.was refusing to inflate my balloons with helium that i bought at the store, that same day 9/01/2021 for my sons bday. she wanted to give me one of the old inflated once. And because i refuse the old balloons, she started to give me really bad attitude.very poor customer Service

Great place to get everything you need. Our decorations looked awesome! My suggestions for them, hang pictures up of how we could combine the colors and stuff to make a good party. This is what i copied from pinterest!

Worst customer service. I went to get balloons refilled and the manager rudely told me that it’s a 3 hour wait to get balloons. Are they serious? They’re a party city and they’re telling me they have a 3 hour wait! They better catch up on their orders then.

Free, large parking is always a plus. It is our local Part City and my kids like to pop in for costume ideas. I get my party essentials here as well. The staff is always polite and knowledgeable. If they are out of stock whatever I am looking for it is easy to order it online.

If there were 0 star this place would deserve it. I visited this place On July 11th/2019 around 7pm. If there is manager is reading this review i have to tell you something. Please consider this as a good advice: this Party city needs to close down or fire all the employees who was at the cashier at that time. And hire who is knowledgeable and can communicate with a person. They need to learn how to smile at least and lower their tone. Each of the costumers they were very polite and nice, but all of us get treated worse than ever. I don’t know why i even ever go this place today? They know how to kill the excitement and make you to walk out there without buying a single thing. That’s all i have..

The worst party city Ive been to, worst customer service they dont care about customer service and the manager is racist after being disappointed with their service I was upset and raised my voice but the manager goes on to tell me that she was third generation born and raised American, which had nothing to do with me being upset about the way they handled my order. I have never met anyone that racist. Never ever stepping a foot in that store.

Ordered a last minute pickup and they were ready for me almost 2 hours early! Probably not the norm, thats why theres pickup windows, but I was ecstatic. Awesome, friendly, and helpful staff!

The guy thats working in the Halloween costume department is not very helpful. I asked him a simple question about a Halloween item and he said Im the wrong person to be asking thatThen why are you working at a place that you cant answer a simple question? And the way he said it was so rude!

Horribly unorganized! I waited in the balloon line for 15 minutes only to be told I need to check out in the regular first and then come BACK to the balloon line. Absolutely insane system. There’s no sign to indicate this nor did an associate bother to tell me when I first got in line (while there was zero guests in the regular line). It took me over 40 minutes to just get 8 balloons- absolutely ridiculous

My first time there. Attention and service was outstanding 😃

Came to buy one item. Found it and went to the checkout. Tree people in front of me one counter open. Five minutes passed cashier still with the same customer. So I went to find out what is going on and been told second cashier is coming. She came and next person went there. Another five minutes passed. Both cashiers still with same customers. I waited fifteen minutes for these two cashiers serving same two customers. It was unbelievable. I dont know who works there but I do know this store is the last place I will go under any circumstances.

This is my local party city and every time I go there they have a new rule with there balloons and helium. I spend so much money every year on there website for the past 7 years and they want to charge me a $1 extra for helium for latex balloons. Not only did I buy there balloons off there website and mind you i got 30 latex balloons they want me to pay $30 dollars for all the balloons plus tax of course and they charge for the balloon bags as well. The manager who was a guy had a horrible attitude and rolling his eyes. I dont know why I continue to go there because they have the worst employees EVER.

This place is garbage. They had no sizes available and never restock. Most costumes I tried had holes or some defection to it. Personally I think this is the worst place I’ve gotten a costume.

The store has moved next to the jewel Osco and I believe that it has a new managerial person and new staff. The store was clean, the employees helpful (and funny, which was a nice little bonus) and they had everything I was looking for. I havent been to the old location so I cant counter any of the bad reviews, but I think that people should come to see the new one. And dont take it so seriously, I mean its a party store not a Nordstrom.

I asked about an item that I found on their website available in that store but after looking for it with no luck I asked the manager, and I showed him the SKU # . He in a very rude manner answered he didnt know and to go find it myself. I left the store and ordered it online for pick up. 3 hours later they cancelled my order with no explanation
