Lisy was such a gift to me and my baby! So much so that this is the first review I have EVER written. I thought nursing would be easy with my third child. But after babe wasnt gaining weight and I was experiencing lots pain nursing, baby had a frenectomy at 14 days old, and then refused to nurse at all. Lisy helped coach me through exclusive pumping and bottle feeding to keep my supply up and help baby get to birth weight, showed me how to help baby practice his latch with a nipple shield while baby recovered, and eventually helped my baby start nursing again. I thought nursing was lost for us after 9 days of exclusively pumping, but Lisy helped my little one return to the breast. I cannot thank her enough!

We came here after reading other Google reviews and we are so glad that we did!After some initial struggles with feeding, we were told by the hospital that we should consider switching exclusively to formula. That really had my wife down.That is when Dr. Peters came in. She helped when noone else could. Her shockingly simple techniques stuck the both of us as the right way and we were both at ease with her the entire initial and follow-up visit.If you have any struggles as a young parent, I cant recommend working with Dr. Peters in any stronger terms. She is a miracle worker!!

My partner and I came here wanting to polish up on making sure our 1 week old baby girl was getting fed properly through breastfeeding. Our experience with Lissy was like a weight has been lifted off on the struggles of breast feeding. She made us feel comfortable and answered any questions we threw at her. She made me feel confident in breastfeeding and less stressed about feeding my baby.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I truly would. My newborn had issues staying awake during feeding and had some other things we wanted to polish up, so the baby gets the best quality feeding time. After an hour spending with Lisy ( the women that consults and teaches proper breastfeeding ) we left feeling confident and happier than ever. We learned a lot during that session. They even ensure us to follow up with them in case we have any questions or concerns later on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Lisy Peters was without a doubt a God send. I was struggling to breastfeed after coming back from the hospital. I felt all this pressure to have him fed every 3 hours, without realizing that was causing a lot of stress on myself and the baby. Lisy explained that my milk supply was being affected by stress and encouraged me to relax and gave me very useful tips. She changed my breastfeeding experience into a pleasant bonding time with my son. I haven’t had any trouble after seeing her. I thank God for her every time I breastfeed. Lisy has been such a important part of why I’ve been successful at breastfeeding. I was having trouble a few days after my baby was born and she provided us With so much wonderful information and great tools to move forward. Each visit we learn something new. She is patient and has a sense of calmness which makes our visit so wonderful. I highly recommend her to any new mom who is breastfeeding, definitely worth the 45 min drive.

We have had a wonderful experience here; I could not recommend it enough. As a new mom, I was very overwhelmed by breastfeeding. I received so much information & varying opinions in the hospital, we were having trouble getting a good latch, and I didn’t know how to manage my supply. Lisy helped breastfeeding become manageable and successful for us. She provided information that I wish I had known from the beginning, she gave tips that allowed my baby to successfully breastfeed, and she cheered us on and helped us feel so much less stressed. My wife and I were losing hope but Lisy gave us so much good input and the confidence to keep going. She was successful in guiding my wife to breastfeed.Couple months later my wife was going back to work and our baby was not taking the bottle.We scheduled an appointment again to help us with bottle feeding and again she helped us tremendously.Dont hesitate if you need help. My wife and I are so happy with the experience here. They were so compassionate and friendly and helped with not only breast feeding but formula feeding tips. We had difficulties with other lactation consultants and here they were phenomenal!

We worked with Lisy, who was excellent. My baby at five months all of a sudden wanted to switch sides frequently. He seemed uncomfortable, and at first we thought it was tired, then we thought it was teething, but Lisy pointed out a bit of reflux almost immediately and gave us great tips, and within a week, he improved notably. Shes obviously knowledgeable, but equally important, she was incredibly patient and encouraging during what can feel like a vulnerable moment in your/your babys life. We didnt feel rushed at all, and we felt like we had her undivided attention throughout our appointment, which is so rare. I wasnt sure what to expect but left feeling like I had tools to move forward. Sidebar: Shes also a pediatric nurse, so she knows her stuff at an entirely escalated level. I so strongly recommend her.

Lisy is incredible! She is the reason I was able to breastfeed my son. If it wasn’t for her I would not have been so successful and been able to exclusively breastfeed him. I went to Lisy 4 days after my son was born and had a couple of follow up appointments with her. I learned new things each time I saw her. I recommend going right after your child is born so that she can set you up for success right away. Lisy is extremely knowledgeable and shared so many helpful tips with my family and I. Seeing Lisy was the best thing I did as I started my breastfeeding journey.

Exceptional experience for lactation consultation and breast pump rental. I had several consultation visits and rented a hospital grade breast pump for one year and everything was billed to my insurance! I didnt have to spend a penny. I highly recommend to all new mothers!

Lisy was so helpful and very informative. We had seen a lactation clinic at the hospital twice and while helpful, they didnt inform my wife and I of nearly as much as Lisy did. She was the difference between my wife giving up on nursing or not! She also provided us with plenty of samples. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Lisy PetersWhen my daughter was born she was very sleepy and unable to latch correctly. By 3 weeks and with a proper latch she was not gaining weight at all. Depsite my concerns the hospital and my clinic lactation consultants and nurses would tell me everything was okay, until she was 3 weeks and not gaining any weight. She was hospitalized for failure to thrive. After requesting an IBCLC several times during her hospital stay we finally got to see one and did a weighted feed. The scale showed little to no milk intake during a feed as I assumed. I was pumping and breastfeeding before she was hospitalized but the staff pushed me to exclusively pump and not even offer my breast in between. Being a 3rd time mom With the goal to exclusively nurse vs. exclusively pump or formula feed I received little to no help. I fact, I wanted to give up from the pressure they put on me, but the IBCLC at the hospital told me, I could ebf in the future because I knew what I was doing and I was dedicated.- and in that she gave me hope. I went on and asked for recommendations to an IBCLC and was recommended Lisy. I sent her a text and explained my situation to Lisy and she told me to keep pumping and message her when my daughter was released. Lucky for us it was only 3 days and we were sent home, and off I went to set an with Lisy. She set it up for the following morning.. Although far from us too we decided to drive the hour. And I have zero regretsMy first impression of Lisy was one Ill never forget. She was waiting for me and ready to help as soon as I walked through the door. She Provided tips and walked me through the dos and donts. She even confirmed her little milk intake but unlike everyone prior provided me with proper steps to ensure she wouldnt starve as we transitioned to breast only. By 2 months old my daughter was breastfeeding at the breast only. Doesnt sound like much but it was and I have Lisy to thank for that. Without her support and help I would have given up, but she believed in me and knew my troubles were fixable. She gave me the path I needed to achieve my goal.❤And its really what any mother needs.In just a few weeks my daughter will be turning 3 months and going strong at the breast along with my toddler.

Lisy Peters helped us SO much. She is so knowledgeable about breastfeeding, newborn care, mom health, increasing your milk supply etc. My 6 lb baby dropped weight after birth and Lisy helped get us back on track! She observed a feeding at their location. She weighed my baby before and after the feeding. I called her with several questions and she was always available. My daughter was born large and hungry and I just didnt have enough milk to give her. Within 24 hours she became badly dehydrated and we had to give her a bottle. After a few days of bottle feeding she refused the breast. I kept trying, which was extremely stressful for us both. Lisy encouraged me to try only once a day and not to push too hard. This is the exact opposite of everything I read about what lactation consultants typically advise. But Lisy said the stress hormones were keeping us from making the right connection. I was skeptical, but was glad to have permission to not keep trying to nurse. Lisy turned out to be absolutely right. After a couple of days, both me and my daughter were calmed down and she decided she wanted to nurse. It was truly miraculous. Nine months later, shes a good little nurser. Im so grateful to Lisy.

After struggling with milk production as a first time mom and bringing home a pre-term baby I was ready to give up on nursing altogether. Lisy was so encouraging and took the time to teach me strategies for proper latching, timing feedings, and much more. Lisy is warm and maternal and an expert in the field, both my OBGYN and pediatrician were thrilled to hear that she was my lactation consultant because she truly is the best! I am also a huge fan of her family-run store, they have it all from breast pumps to nursing bras. Highly recommended!!!
