Customer service was great when I was buying my car. Now not so much. Scheduled an oil change for 4pm. Was told upon arrival most of the crew gets off at 4 pm and the service would take a couple of hours. Canceled and went to Jiffy Lube.

I haven’t actually received the maintenance yet however my experience with Luigi in the service center today just setting it up… was EXCELLENT!I manage, and need five people like him! Take good care, or I’ll have to recruit him! 🤣 This Guy’s the real deal- he put me first, even just for a few minutes these days, that’s HUGE.Authentic and sincere are two words that come to mind. Charles was my representative and he was really great to work with. He was very patient with me and was able to really breakdown the details of my service. His service was above and beyond. He even gave me a mini-tutorial not only my car rental that I was using while my actual car was getting serviced but also gave me a tutorial on some features on my current vehicle not I wasnt aware of. I had a fantastic experience at Star Nissan, Inc. Tony was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He patiently showed me different models of the Rogue and offered insights on each - varying features, safety standards on all, how Nissan compares to other brands. I wasnt ready to make a decision on my first visit, and Tony was completely understanding and offered to be available should I have questions as I continued to shop. When I was ready to come back and purchase a Rogue, Tony and the team at Star Nissan were extremely helpful, patient, and fun to work with. It was a big day for me, having to part with my old car of 16 years, and Tony made sure that I felt heard and taken care of throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend Tony and the Star Nissan team.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I took my infinity suv in because on occasion it would not start. They said they needed to do a thorough diagnostic on it and it takes 15 hours. I had it done and they said the issue was my timing chain and a couple of cam shaft sensors. I had the work done (cost 6k) they gave my vehicle back making a sound it didnt before which I didnt find out until the next day. I took it back because the vehicle didnt start and the service engine light came on. They said now my vehicle is consuming too much oil but there are no leaks and the not starting was the battery. I had the battery checked and its at 88%!!!!!! On top of all that when I got my vehicle back the second time one of the door locks is now making a sound. They say, well its an old vehicle and things happen when they get old. Im going to contact Infinity USA to let them know about this dealer and their old vehicle that is mysteriously contracting issues now that its been serviced by THEIR licensed professionals!!! If anyone else reads this and got their vehicle back with other issues that it didnt have before going to this place please share so others dont make the mistake we did!!

We have used Brennan Star Nissan twice now in the last 3 years or less. Each time the full staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our first experience was with Eugene who was amazing, friendly and took care of us very well and was very attentive. Traded a different car for a new Nissan model. Our most recent experience was with Tony, who made us feel extremely welcome, cared for and was very understanding. Him and Eugene helped us trade our two car for a newer model and Mr Brennan was there to ensure a smooth transition too. We strongly recommend Brennan Star Nissan and is definitely our place for any car related needs.

The best car buying experience ever!!!!First off everyone from the sales consultants to the maintenance personnel to the finance managers were very pleasant. Barry Schuman, the sales and leasing consultant I worked with was awesome! He genuinely cares about your needs as the consumer. He was straight forward and made sure I got the car I wanted at a great price point. There were no “hidden fees” and I never felt like I was being forced or tricked into extras that I didn’t need. He answered all my questions and took the the time to clarify when necessary. He even got me a good deal on car insurance. Star Nissan in Niles is the true definition of going the extra mile to provide great service with a smile!!!

So disappointed. They don’t let me know that my car it was ready for pick it up. So I spend the next day without car. I just bring the car for recall check up. And when I call back nobody seem to know nothing About it. And nobody cares anyways and when I bring the car for car wash looks like they just spray some water over the car and that’s it.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. Going the extra mile to get me the best possible deal/price. The whole process was quick, meaning, there was not a lot of lag time or the sales reps dragging on the pitch. The sales rep, Barry, was honest and to the point. I did not get the color I wanted. Or my 2nd choice.I did not get the Costco Auto Program discount.I traveled to Niles from Oak Forest for a better that average deal.Receved a decent deal. The same I would have received in the south suburbs, if theproducts were not in short supply or if I would not have waited for the Costco program.Happy with the car. Comfortable with deal. Nice sales staff.

Service was completed earlier than expected.Dealer at station #1 (Peter ?) was professional and very pleasant to work with and not demanding for the recommended additional services I can not afford at this time. I will have the other services done upon my return since the mileage is around 11,500 for my 2018 Nissan Maxima; the services should be done at 15,000. I prefer Star Nissan over the Kedzie location.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE...Its an 8th wonder these guys are in business. Charlie Guild rushed me to pay for a service not rendered. You should stick with diagnosis if thats all youre good at. They try to.make you pay for same problem twice. I just wasted $800 on my heater which still doesnt work. LESSON: Check your car before paying.Dont believe what they tell you.

Had a great experience with Star Nissan. I had been searching for months for a particular vehicle online, and one popped up at Star Nissan that appeared to be exactly what I wanted. Star Nissan is 4.5 hours away from my home, so I sent an online inquiry for more info. My Sales Consultant, Howar, was engaged, informed, communicative and helpful throughout the process and after the sale. When I got to the dealership to finalize the deal, everyone I met was efficient and knowledgeable. They had me on the road in my new car straight away. Experience was very positive. In general the staff seemed quite friendly and everyone had their masks on. Met a gentleman named Klaud who was quite professional and very friendly. Explained everything in detail to me from beginning to end. My car ended up being fixed and hopefully will be no problems with my electrical system again. They even washed my car before returning it to me! Waiting room was very comfortable. Will probably go back to this place maybe even when it comes time to purchase a car I will remember Star Nissan. My car has now noise, which wasnt there. I had the worst experience. I have stayed more than five hours in the dealer. People come and go behind me. I checked in 8 minutes prior to my appointment which was 9am. My car was inspected and received a texted after 3hrs stayed there. Overall it was bad service. I didnt want to bring it back to get fixed because I am not sure what they gonna do next on my car. I will take it some other place. Currently I am driving my daughter car cos I am not sure if it is bad or not..terrible sound

Umm Nick, great service advisor but I am very disappointed in the mechanic that claimed to have found all these problems with the car and told nick those specific services needed to be performed. Mechanic told nick that tear brakes and pads needed to be replaced. OEM rotors, unless warped are designed to be resurfaced one time before replacement but apparently the mechanic said NO.Do I checked them myself after picking up the car, brake rotors are not warped or scorched whatsoever, the pads only are getting worn.In cabin air filter needs to be replaced the mechanic said, when I asked if there was a charge to do do he said YES. That is ridiculous, in order to find out if it needs to be replaced you have to pull it anyway.Then to top it all off once I paid for the car it took almost 20 minutes to get the car pulled around and Luigi had to go and get it himself.Totally disappointed with the service we received this time.

The service department was completely non-communicative. No calls, texts or emails on when the car would be ready. When i called later in the day, no one picked up after multiple tries. Finally got someone in the office (billing?) and they said they would transfer me, which i said NO! They went back and found the tech and he came back with a time. Just a horrific way to do business. We will likely look at another Nissan dealer for service next time.

People are always very nice and the place is nice to hang out if you have to wait for repairs or service. But it seems I am always having sticker shock or maybe “upsold”—This time I went in for an oil change and it was 1000.00 because of something, I don’t remember what. Same last time. I understand if someone doesn’t take care of their car that this stuff happens, but I get every oil change (even if not always Nissan) and everything needed. My car is 5 years old and only has 38K miles. So maybe I am just naive and not expecting such expenses every time...?

I waited for 50 minutes in my car for an 4:00 appointment I got in at 4:50 pm only because I got out the car to ask what was the problem. After I seen another guy pull up and get waited on. Aaron was very rude and dismissive. He only asked what was I there for and wrote the slip up never said anything and walked back over to the Infiniti desk. He left me standing there another guy came up and was trying to figure out who put my information in the system. My hope is to never come back to that dealership again. Everytime I try to give it another try you guys get worse. I had a bad experience when I bought my car from you guys I dont know why I thought it would get better.

Only saving grace was Rich, the specialist that I worked with. I arrived on time for my 1PM appt, and there was a line which I expected. They kept asking me to move forward and forward until I was in front. People kept telling me that someone would be right with me. No one came for 35 minutes. Until I pressed the horn and Rich came and asked. They took care of the car for my oil change. After it was over, Rich asked me to sit by the red bench since my car was being washed and would be right out. I waited there 20 minutes until I went back to Rich. Literally sitting there for almost an hour being ignored. Great times. Star it wasn’t.

I came because check the engine light was on, kept my car a week and I was told 2 conflicting reports on my car by 2 different service advisors where one said its the transmission failure and the other one said lack of oxygen to burn the oil which in turn affected the transmission and also said they need clean fix some loose part. Instead In the end I tended up paying around $180 for temporary resetting of the system to take check the engine light off which came back after 5 blocks of drive.

If I could give 0 I would.Terrible overall experience.No communication between finance, general managers, and their corporate office. Being a military family and buying cars is already difficult, they really made it more of a headache. Ive bought several cars over the years and they were no help at all and not supportive.Update:Got an email from their title and registration department after the past weekend. They were unable to figure out how to title the vehicle which is why they held on to the paperwork for a month. If they had made 2 phone calls of no more than 10 min each they wouldve had answers to their questions. The incompetence and ignorance is extremely disappointing.

This is a review for servicing the vehicle.They have decent customer service, but attempt to up sell you at every step of the check-in process, which is probably part of their job.I appreciated the follow up call for when it was time to pick up. They also washed the car exterior. That’s about all that I appreciated.One of the primary issues I came in for was to check out a slow leak that I had in my tire. They simply rotated the tires and didn’t check to see if there was any other issue with them and didn’t fill them with air. When I got it fixed the next day at a different shop, they pulled out a 6 inch long nail. Not sure why they missed that while servicing the vehicle, but they missed the opportunity to charge more there. It makes me question what else was missed.I likely won’t be going back to service my car there and choose to work with another local mechanic.

Let me just say. Service department is great. From Rich to Charlie to all the tech. Just recently bought this Altima. So there shouldn’t have ANY work needed to be done on it since it was marked certified. If the car was certified then I shouldn’t have to have spent over 600 bucks for stuff that should’ve been already checked it out. In less than 90 days of owning the “certified” Altima front sensor was replaced, tire sensor was replaced, lug nut missing, backup camera was replaced, passenger seat belt was replaced, driver seat control was replaced, air cabin filter was replaced, fuel injectors needed to be cleaned, transmission flush and coolant flush!! HOW WAS THIS CAR CERTIFIED? Someone owes me some answers!!

Wanted to buy a used 2018 Nissan Rogue and so one evening I visited the Star Nissan in Niles website to see their inventory and signed in with my contact info as they required. After reading the details on several cars that were at my price point and had mileage levels I preferred, I decided on one. I pushed the Chat feature, and engaged in a long (40 minute) conversation with the person or robot that responded. At her/its request I typed in the vehicle I wanted including their inventory number, asked some questions, said Id be at the dealership the next day at 6pm. She/it confirmed my appointment but could not give me the name of a salesperson to see when I got there.The next day my daughter and I arrived at 6pm. The man at the desk who greeted me at the front door couldnt find anything about my previous nights online conversation or information, but he did find my name in their system. He asked Jose Reyes to work with me.When we got into Joses office, I gave him the printout on the Rogue I wanted, but when he looked at his system he said he didnt have that vehicle at the dealership but he had a lot of other great Rogues he could show me. When I protested that I was emotionally invested and very interested in the car he didnt have there, he then said that if I wanted to see/drive/buy it, I could go into Chicago to their dealership on north Kedzie Avenue. When I asked why they hadnt brought it to Niles, he said it didnt work like that.I didnt look at other vehicles that evening, nor did I drive to their Chicago lot then or at any other time to find the car I wanted. I DID go home and revisit the Star Niles website, and it didnt mention that some of the vehicles on the website would not be at the Niles location, nor did it say that the Chat function doesnt pass info to the dealership for future reference.So, buyer beware. Just because a Berman-related dealership, which is what Star is, has vehicles on its website, that does not mean it has the vehicle at their location. Just because a potential buyer engages with the online chat person/robot, IDs the vehicle they want, discusses an appointment time and gets it confirmed, etc., that does not mean the dealership has any info about that Chat on their computer system less than 24 hours later. And just because the salesman Jose--if hes the one you meet with when trying to buy a used car at Star--is a nice guy who clearly WANTs to help you, it would not be a good idea to expect that he knows anything about your Chat and all the info you already shared or even that the car youre interested in buying is even at the dealership.A 1 star rating is what I really wanted to assign to Stars way of doing business, but then there was Jose Reyes, who seemed like a really caring person, so I upped it to 2 stars.

Hand free driving on the highway! (Not hands free because you do have to keep one hand on it at all times. But CLOSE ENOUGH for the price. And honestly the new cars interiors feel super luxurious and comfortable. The Nissan Rogue is bigger than then Tesla Model Y for cargo space and interior.)

I was pleased with the purchase process here and with the vehicle and what I paid for it. A lot of that due to the Sales Consultant I worked with, a fellow named Arun O. I went to quite a few dealerships that gave me bad feelings before I landed here and in Arun’s office.Arun is a straight shooter. He wasn’t pushy or greedy. Rather I feel he is a man of his word. Part of the deal we made was to make a few small adjustments after I drove the car home (cosmetic and enhancement stuff). And sure enough, I had no issue following up with him to get the work done after the deal and transaction were complete. He didn’t “ghost” me. He responded to all my calls and emails promptly, long after the deal was done.If you buy from this dealership, work with Arun. He is a normal guy who doesn’t try to push anything on you or take you for a ride. He is cool, calm, and collected when it comes to the sales process. Something I would guess comes with being a seasoned Sales Consultant. Overall a really good experience.

My electric car I had bought from a different dealer out of state was about to die from lack of power while I was still miles from home because the cold was causing it to deplete faster. I rolled into Star Nissan just in time, and never have I been treated more helpfully, more generously or more professionally! I can’t thank the wonderful staff and management enough! I told the service advisor (name: Kozak) that the problem with my car was the shock absorber. I asked that he first check if it is under warranty before doing anything. He made me sign a form. I waited 5hrs so i thought he was already fixing the shock absorber and that it’s under warranty. I was surprised when he came back to tell me that the problem was the shock absorber, and it is not under warranty and i have to pay the diagnostic fee! I told him from the start that that was the problem and foe him to check if it is under warranty. I asked to speak with the manager who said that i have to pay or they will not release my car. THIS WAS CLEARLY A HIGHWAY ROBBERY! Beware and don’t let them nickel & dime you!

Came in for a simple oil change was never given different level/prices. Was told I need all these additional things done to my car, which I just purchased certified new from Nissan 2 weeks prior, so I didnt appreciate been scared into buying things that I did not need and when confronted about it the service rep said well they dont look at them they just recommend it be done? What? Great answer and attitude when dealing with customers. SO I really didnt need that new filter because its brand new but they think I do without even looking at it. This is why people dont trust dealers and I will just use my local mechanic for anything I need done unless its covered my warranty.

Brought my Nissan Titan in for a routine service after making an appointment earlier in the week. Waited maybe 5 minutes for someone at the service desk where he suggested I do my 30,000 mile service since I was so close. He went through all of the options and explained which package was what. He told me hed keep me updated of any findings during the service and would text them. My truck was ready later in the day as promised. Easy in, easy out!

I really want to say I had a seamless experience with Eugene (Gene) in my certified car purchase. He was very caring and even picked me up from work in my new (certified used) car. I’m extremely happy with the service and I would recommend him for any of your needs. Even if your just “window” shopping he adds no pressure to the experience and has a very calm demeanor. This morning I received exceptional service from Gene, he picked up my car at work and had my car washed. I sincerely appreciate the service from Star Nissan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends & family!!!

Very excellent service, I had inadvertently thrown Charlie, my service advisor a curve and added something after service was completed, and he made sure and took care of it in a timely manner. I will definitely be having my truck serviced with them again in the future.

Drove 4.5 hours out of state just to have the assistant manager tell me to go shop elsewhere when they sold the vehicle that I was going to purchase when arrived. What a shame! Lady on the phone even confirmed 2 hours prior that the vehicle was on hold for me. Was probably a good thing that I left this place without any purchase as Im reading these negative reviews.
