The best value ever. I have been receiving AAA memberships since 1970s as an annual Christmas gift from my father. He wanted to make sure I was never alone on the road. I have continued my membership as an adult. Simply the best!

I walked-in to this location to get their road assistance membership, Mathew helped me and convinced me to get insurance with them as well claiming he would get me an even better rate than the one I am currently paying. He also mentioned about free membership for a year with 100mi towing benefit and I could also add my kids and fiance at no additional cost. It sounded too good to be true. A few days later he sent me an estimate through text message, I was not happy with his quote so I called to have me explain the insurance coverage and why the cost exceeded my current insurance. He failed to give me all the details and rudly cut me off saying that if I was not gonna get their insurance then he was wasting his time, left me speechles I did not know what had just happened, before I knew it he hang up the phone on me. I did speak to his manager days later and apparently I was given false information by his employee Mathew, they dont even have the 100mi towing assistance when you first signed up, you would have to wait 3 months until you can upgrade from 7mi to 100mi and on top it, it cost more money if you want to add any close relatives to your policy, $30 per person to be exact. I am only giving 2 stars and that is because Luan (manager) took his time and explained everything step by step after Mathew had given me false information and thats maybe because he wanted to get his commission at any cost.

AAA was a breeze. There was an absolutely lovely woman named Dyanne that worked with Irv and me. She was so polite and extremely helpful. If you need to go to Triple A make sure you ask for Dyanne!

It was excellent! Was there for DMV services. Way better than going to DMV.

They have been so very helpful for me, especially Linda in their DMV department. Ive been trying to receive the title to my car from Kia finance for over 4 years, ever since paying off the balance of the three year lease, two weeks prior to end of my lease. Since moving back to Orange County and working with Linda here, she has been extremely patient with this circumstance and helping with certified letters to the Kia finance and( as of todays date Kia has yet to comply) Linda has been assisting me with tag extensions for my car. Theyre all very friendly and courteously helpful when ever visiting or calling on the phone with this AAA office on Birch Street in Newport Beach

Worst travel planning experience with this office, I booked hotel rooms for a trip across the country, moving out of state and the agents at this office were to lazy to look up my scheduled reservations and just picked random hotels for my triptik!!! I arrived at 4am to the wrong hotel with no reservation after being up for 21 hours!!! Lazy unprofessional travel agents!!!My final destination was my new home but again they just picked a random hotel in the city ... don’t even get me started on how difficult it was fir me to get the triptik in the first place !! Took 3 days and numerous phone calls and they still could not do their job.

I love AAA i have had their auto recovery and their auto insurance for about forever! They are a great organization. I ke going their to register my vehicles too! It is way better than going to the DMV!

I have always embraced people the staff that they have working at this location its really the only location Ive ever been to and if this is any sign of what the other locations are like then Ill go to all of them! This is a one-stop-shop they make your life as easy as possible these people know their business they know the laws they can help you get your registration renewed they can help you with so many things and I love the fact that they are knowledgeable they calm they can really make you feel so much better about a situation that youre confused about and theyre just great problem solvers with a smile on their face! Hooray Ill always be using these guys

They are always so helpful and friendly here. I have car insurance through them. I needed to add a new car. I was in and out so quickly and felt the insurance person helped me choose what was right rather than just selling me a policy.

Horrible expereince and customer service. They booked hotel rooms for me on a road trip to Idaho that were supposed to be dog friendly - and werent. Had to book my own hotels on the fly and then couldnt get refunds for the ones AAA booked. Turns out they didnt book them they used a company called Travel Partners in NY and that co was uncooperative in refunding $$. AAA rep did little to get my refund edither. Word of caution- book your own travel!

I go in on my lunch hour and have them help me with vacations, directions and DMV needs. They usually arent very crowded so theres not too long of a wait. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I feel like a valued customer every time.

They solved a DMV miscommunication issue in less than 10 minutes! They were very helpful and courteous. To avoid the all-day wait at the DMV, AAA membership is worth the cost at any price!

I came here in 2015 after having lived in another state all my life. During that time, I had one insurance company that I literally NEVER had to interact with with the exception of writing a check every month or talking to if I had a fender-bender, whatever. AAA here just cannot seem to get their act together and I have had to contact them several times in the last two years for all kinds of administrative issues, including them having someone I have never even heard of on my policy, thanking me for being a customer for more than 10 years (nope - just the two years as of this month) and most recently they could not find my CA drivers license information so notified me they will be canceling my policy for this reason even though I left the info on the underwriters voice mail a week ago. Somehow they managed to renew my policy last year even though apparently they have never had my CA license on file. And my license was issued the month I moved here two years ago so I am bewildered as to how they could not have asked for it in all this time. Seriously frustrated by constantly having to watch every thing they do and feeling like I have to babysit a lot. Im glad so many of you have had a positive experience but I am definitely ready to start shopping around.

Terrible. If you use your tows that you pay for, then you become ineligible for upgrades. This allows them to rape you for $10/mile instead of letting you upgrade and enjoy 100-mile tows. Its a scam to get you to pay hundreds of dollars for a tow.

Nice people and a clean environment. They only accept cash or check though. We are in 2017 everyone should be accepting at the least a debit card.

Cant say enough good things about this company! My husband and I recently switched our car insurance over to triple A because they gave us the cheapest rate by far and considering it seems we dont have the best driving history. Also, I went here for the DMV services and the woman who helped me out went above and beyond. She found a couple of SMOG testing locations that were close to my home and printed out the information and directions for me. While we were waiting for everything to process I had mentioned that I needed to get a CA driver license so she went ahead and provided me with a booklet to review for the test as well as made an appointment for me with a local DMV since they couldnt provide those services. Mind you, I came close to closing time and she was sure to provide me with the best customer service and made sure that I had everything completed despite it going over closing hours.Its always been a pleasant experience dealing with Triple A, we will continue to sing your praises. Keep up the great work!!

I never ever expected that anyone could make the DMV or the Post Office look like a well oiled machine when it comes to serving its customers. The customer service at this office is non-existent, in fact I doubt they know the meaning of the words Customer Service.The entire staffs projected attitude suggests that they take pride in making their customers wait ridiculously long periods of time in order to receive the most basic of services such as DMV renewals. I visited this office 10 days ago and finally walked out after waiting 30 minutes. I returned today only to experience the same lengthy delay for seemingly no reason, they had plenty of staff but no one was assisting the members who were waiting for service. At each visit there were more employees than customers but they seem to enjoy watching people wait while they strutted around chatting in groups pf two or three. Today I asked to speak to the manager and a Natalie Carpenter came out and acted sympathetic along with a condescending attitude and made it very clear to me she could care less about my concerns. She said she was sorry about the wait but her employees were all on break or running errands and then immediately joined two other clerks manning the front desk and chattered away while 6 of us waited for one clerk who was handling the DMV desk. It apperaed she was in training because of the length of time it took her to handle each members paperwork. By the way this was 4:00PM in the afternoon not exactly rush hour. It has been a very long time since I have seen an entire group of people who had absolutely no interest in providing any type of service to its clientele and clearly projected an attitude of complete indifference.In my view the problem stems from the top. Ms. Carpenter should be demoted to entry level clerk and sent back to basic training and learn the meaning of customer service. The vast majority of the clerks clearly lack interest or pride in their respective jobs and probably should be retrained and transferred out or terminated so this cycle of indifference can be broken.If you are a AAA member looking for poor service, indifferent attitudes, rudeness or simply want to meet a group of lackadaisical lazy misfits the Newport Beach AAA office is your go -to place. If you are looking for something better than that try the local DMV.or Post Office I assure you that you will get better service no matter how bad it is!Tonight as I write this review I am disheartened, disgusted and ashamed to admit that I am a 48 year member of AAA, I see no reason to renew my membership simply to enable the kind of inneptness I experienced in my last two visits to the AAA office in Newport.Beach.

This is the worst branch, I advise anyone to avoid AAA and specially this branch, all the employees there don’t have any experience and don’t understand the customer needs like Colin and Jessy they are super rude, they gave me a wrong estimate and after I signed it They sent me the police includes double of what I signed before and when I asked them about what happened they tried to not answering me ! AAA is the worst insurance company, they never work professionally Try to avoid it.
