Best meatballs 🧆 ever!! Been getting them since I was a kid my mom swore by them and I stopped in the other day for the first time since my mom passed away and I got two packages and they were just as I remembered. I’ll forever get get them as long as this market stays open!! ☺️

Local meat market and grocer. House-made sausage is phenomenal, a true staple of the Newburgh food scene. Great cuts of meat and reasonable prices. Parking is sparse but can be had on the corners of the block.

Geracis is a long standing institution in heart of inner City of Newburgh. Its not the Italian market it once was, but it does provide decent produce and meats along with a small array of other groceries and Latin specialities. You can still get pre made meatballs and Italian sausage. Very small selection of frozen items. Prices are fair but cuts of meat are larger for the same price the local chain grocery stores. This store is walkable or easy to access by cab for most City of Newburgh residents and remains a staple place to shop. Staff is helpful and most are bilingual.

I remember working at Geraci as a kid ..I remember Mr. Geraci, and his butchers..Sonny, and I think Kyle was the other guys name..Now this was back in the early 1960s..
