My wifes computer is a 12 year old custom built computer that she uses for work daily. We couldnt afford to be down and want to get more life out of what is still a much better computer than most of the junk out today. I needed to replace a failing hard drive. Great service, very transparent about pricing and work. The turnaround time for repair was excellent.

This was my last text message to them at week 7 on an expected 1 week job. Not responsive is an understatement. I received 3 updated each time because I called them. No, they didn’t even call me back days after sending that text. Yes, I finally got the laptop back and guess what... 3 months later it’s not working again.Hello,JK Tech I have called and text repeatedly to get my laptop back. No one has returned my calls.

My laptops drive was at 100%. Things were crawling. I tried all the fixed on Google, YouTube, etc., nothing. Finally called here and he said it was the hard drive. Figured why not.A few days later and it was ready and running better than ever! He was able to save all my important files and folders, which saved me so much work.

Whether a casual user, or an experienced professional, I highly recommend JK techs. Labor prices were incredibly reasonable, in-house parts were far lower than I expected, and I experienced great turnaround time and communication throughout the process. Not only did I have my initial issue fixed without hesitation, but I was also able to make major upgrades at an affordable price. Looking forward to improving my current machine in the future.

Very please with Javier at JK Techs. Had a charging issue with my Macbook Air. After a little more than two hours on the phone with Apple Tech Support - including a supervisor - they couldnt solve it and recommended taking to a 3rd party provider since Genius Bars are closed. Best Buy Geek Squad offered an appointment 2 1/2 weeks in the future and leave it for 4-5 days .. so I looked for other options and found JK Techs. I called Javier, drove it over and he came to the car to collect the Mac and discuss. He promised to diagnose and offered right up front what he thought the two most likely culprits were, and what the cost would be for parts for those two choice (only pay for what is used). An hour or two later he called to say he found the problem, fixed it (no parts needed) and I could come get the Mac. Perfect service. Thank you.

I have had a very positive experience with JK TECHS. My laptop was done when they promised and at the cost I could afford. Things were explained where I was able to understand. Installation of programs was done on site with patience. I recommend this service center.

AVOID THIS PLACELeft my 17” MacBook Pro with Javier to diagnose and repair. After about a week of not hearing back from him I had to contact him in order to get any sort of update. After he told me what the issue was and gave me a quote I asked him to replace one or two of the keys that were having issues. He said the whole keyboard would have to be replaced and gave me a turn around time of an additional week for all the repairs to be completed. After a entire week passed and I received no updates I once again had to reach out to Javier to get any information. I was told that the parts that were ordered had not been shippedout yet for whatever reason. I could not wait any longer so I cut my losses and paid the $40 fee for the diagnostic. When I went to pick up my MacBook, Javier had the audacity to say that he could transfer all of my wanted data for a fee. HORRIBLE customer service. There are far more reputable and established companies in the area. Not sure if the other reviewers are friends or family, but I didn’t receive the 5 star treatment they are claiming. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The good: Javier is a nice guy, fixed my computer (motherboard replacement) and reasonable rates. The Bad: Javier does not think your time is as valuable as his. Its like having a root canal to get him to call you back or text you. He said my computer would be rdy on a Monday (no call or text as well) and when it wasnt I had to hound him just to find out the motherboard was on order and wouldnt be in for a few days. Then he had ME confirm I would be at home at 1pm to bring it back and didnt show up until 3:15pm (no call or text-because he was on another job!!!!). I would not use him again simply for the fact communicating with him (or lack thereof) was an exercise in extreme frustration. You are on HIS time, not the other way around.
