I had a Murphy’s Law kind of afternoon trying to make 100 copies for a presentation for this week and it felt like all i did was interrupt the very busy staff for help including getting my AirPod that fell into the copier- yes my AirPod fell into the copier! The staff could not have been more patient and nice to me and I was feeling so cranky while trying to maintain my composure and pleasantries . I was even helped out to the car. Their kindness helped me laugh at myself and the humor in this minor personal drama in life . Thank you guys so much !

I stopped here to reload my PayPal card. I was first told that the service wasnt available at the store after I insisted the lady at the register when to the back and came back and said the service is available but they are not allowed to do it at that location as per policy from the loss prevention department. I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager but refused to give me her name. I said ok I left the store. I stood outside the store to call the corporate office to confirm that the store wasnt allowed to offer the service. While on hold the so called manager came outside the store and started arguing with me & accusing me of lying about receiving the service at other locations. I told her I did not want to speak to her Im calling corporate. She continued to try and argue with me as if trying to intimidate me to leave the property. This went on for about a minute or two me trying to end the conversation and the so called manager pursuing the argument untill she noticed a line forming inside the store where she was the only employee on the floor. Ive been an assistant manager and never at any company is it ok to leave the store unattended to go outside and start an argument with a customer. This is a very bad look on the office Depot brand. I personally will not be shopping at or using office Depots services anymore due to the unprofessional manner of their management

Went to this Office Depot with a printing fiasco and Mike and staff performed a miracle in a few minutes everything was perfect thank you sooooooo much 😊

Lost my business completely. Went to print out a label and drop off a package. One copier being fixed and the other acting up and canceling the print job. 6 people in line. Started snowing 6 inches and rather than have the very nice staff member print them out at the desk, she had nothing else to do. The manager made us all wait in line for the copiers. A waste of our time and a risk to our safety with the amount of snow beginning to fall and visability being significantly reduced. I took my business elsewhere and I will do from now on.

I visited the store a couple times in May. I appreciated everyone be careful with distancing, etc.Both visits were very pleasant. I was greeted when passed and employee and offered help finding items.Chad knew right where to find the product I needed and he was new there. That was great. Cindy was cashiering and she was friendly and efficient.Great staff - thank you!

Very poor service. They would not sell me item in store at sale price. This has not been the first time i have encountered this at this location. I was hoping to support community stores instead of purchasing on amazon. Oh well, I guess Amazon will get my business again. No apologies and or help to resolve this. They told me I could order on line. Uh if I do that, your store doesn’t get the revenue.

Came to print cardstock invitations, and this lady told me she couldnt do it.They had another customer, it looked like he was there for hours, 2 people working for 1 person, with 3-4 computers. When an associate told this lady to help me, she looked at me and went back to do what she was doing (staring at the computer screen) after that when she decided to help me she proceeded to tell me I needed to come back tomorrow morning because she cant do it. Go to this place if you have enough patience to deal with people like this. Office depot Newburgh NY, youre better than this.

I went to Office Depot on Sunday to get a 480-page music book spiral bound. Found out there wasnt a spiral big enough for it, so Jenna was kind enough to suggest 3-ring hole punching it, then purchasing a binder to put it in instead of spiral binding it. She told me Matthew would get started on the project on Monday and email me when it is finished. Monday morning I got a phone call from Matthew saying he couldnt copy my book because of copyright reasons. Two things: I didnt ask for it to be copied, just hole punched; I also asked for an email not a phone call due to my work schedule. Called back at 3:30pm on Monday to find out Matthew was on a lunch break. Went to Office Depot Monday night and was informed by a respectful female employee that Matthew has done this before: when he doesnt want to do the work, he makes up excuses for why he cant. I got a refund and am taking my business elsewhere. As simple as the task was, Matthew wasnt up to the non-existent challenge of removing the spine/binding of my book, 3-hole punching it, and emailing me when it was completed so I could buy a binder to put it in. I needed this book for something and it is quite discouraging that something so simple could not be carried out. Matthew, I suggest another line of work. Your actions and attitude will get you fired if you keep it up.

Went to get some invitations print out and got it done within minutes. The young man who was helping me knew exactly what he was doing and was very professional. Ive gone there many times to get different things and prints and they always have their staff well trained.

Very bad I asked if they had carmex and one of the workers said “get tf out of my store ugly pig”

I went to this store to ship a package with a FedEx label already affixed. It was very early in the morning, and I was the only customer waiting to ship a packgage, yet I had to wait approximately 5 minutes before a gruff clerk came and took my package.I asked him for a FedEx tracking receipt, and he told me that they did not issue tracking receipts. Puzzled, I told him to give me back my package, which I took to another FedEx location and was given a tracking receipt.Later during the day, I called the store to inquire about their policy regarding the issuance of tracking receipts, and was informed by a clerk that they do indeed give their customers FedEx tracking receipts when they drop of packages.Based on my experience at this store, I have given them 1 star -- only because there is no lower rating.

Purchased & paid for computer from sign showing advertised special in store, went back for computer - they did not have it & could not get it. The ad placard remained up. Selected another computer, price adjusted. Went back 3xs before computer was ready. Then, it was the wrong computer. I insisted on the one I had selected, went back several times before this one was ready - finally, had new computer. Bought tech support. Only had 2 of 4 e-mail logos placed on screen with technician busy with some interuptions for store business before time was up. Never learned about the security system which was why I bought tech assistance..

No Thermal Paste. Made the trip for nothing!

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the super service I received! Last time I was at this location I was TRYING to buy a new laptop, but EVERY single display of the laptops I was interested on WA at in stock and store policy is that you cannot purchase a display... 5..... FIVE laptops on display were not in stock and were not able to order or be shipped to the store at any time..... 5! The last time I was there was remarkable though! The sales people were patient, polite and just fantastic. Dont get me wrong, they were awesome when I was trying to buy a new laptop, but they had displays....None in stock and none in tj system to come in, but apparently they HAVE to keep them put?! How does that make sense? Have 5.....5 laptops that I was interested on display, but not in stock or on order, but they CANT sell the display, not getting them in EVER again, but still keep them on display?! Dude?! I only gave them 4 stars because I was there yesterday and they are just so kind and helpful....eh,except for the laptop experience which wouldce been $2,500 + and my purchase or clearance items was less than $10! Still the employees were super helpful!

I never experienced any problems at this location until now. Today...was quite busy with long lines at the registers .An older Hispanic female who was obviously the manager was redirecting customers to customer service. After directing me to the customer service checkout...she started nastliy reprimanding the customer service employee...a big heavy set guy who was waiting on 2 customers before me. As I waited...an older woman next to me was struggling with the fax machine. I turned my head to help instruct her on how to use it. As I did...the big guy at C.S. left his register with me standing there with my goods. Just as,he walked away...the nasty manager came over with a whole group of customers who quickly lined up along the right side of me. She immediately started assisting every one but me. When I explained to her that Ive been waiting there for 10 minutes, she angrily retorted that she didnt see me online waiting. Then quickly turned away ignoring me. Needless to say...I left my coffees and creamer there on the counter and went to another store. To be treated like this is inexusable. I was treated like I cut in line like a low life dishonest person would This woman has no business working here berating employees and customers alike.

The store is great, the associates are wonderful, but the store manager is horrendous. He was extremely unprofessional and rude with me and Ive seen him treat his employees horribly. He makes me avoid this store like the plague.

Nothing special about this store. It is well stocked and meets my needs. I rarely have any problems when I visit. The employees help whenever I ask for assistance. I will return when I need stationary items or electronics. No complaints here.

Went in to look for a 4 drawer wooden filing cabinet. The furniture pad was very unorganized. The filing cabinet we wanted wasnt available in store which is fine I understand that a lot of things are special order. But the furniture had inconsistent signage, a lot of peices were missing prices completely. They need to refer to the companys signage guide and adhere to it.

Assistant store manger was nasty,stated they had a lot of big jobs in the Newburgh store and there is a two day turn around.then said. The count start tomorrow,sound like someone does not want to do a job.Oh then she said the cutter was broken.How can you have big job and. Not have the equipment .

Went here to fax something for my husband, the sales associate was very helpful, we discovered the fax was not able to go thru, so there was no charge for the attempt

Employees were quite helpful, but they did not have the laptops in, that I was interested in. Employee even went to check the physical inventory, and not rely on what the system said.

Got to the store around 8:10 pm it was not busy. I asked the person at the cash register if there was someone who could help me and she radio into her earpiece but no one came. The store closes at 9:00pm and I waited until 8:56 pm and no one came to help me. I live in Newburgh and I will never shop there again. I would understand if they were busy but they werent. They are very lazy and I just walked out without my item

Printers dont work staff doesnt help terrible service

STAW AWAY! They do not deserve 1 star. I ordered a desk on February 12 with a delivery date of February 27. I am writing this as of April 5th and I still have no desk, even though it was paid for on February12. I received several voicemails from someone who barely speaks English. If I understand him correctly, they are attempting to reach the vendor, who is not getting back to them for a while. Just a waste of time.

Ordered online to pickup in store..We got confirmation that The pickup was ready, and When we went to the store they couldnt find the order, and on top of that they were rude, and we waited over 30 minutes. Whats the sense of ordering online and picking up in store. They didnt give us a receipt either..

Ive been in Office Depot customer for over 15 years and a Rewards member. I always found the store a pain since the workers are usually MIA, and its hard to get a question answered. But its close to home and I buy a ton of ink here for my Epson printer. I bought a blue 252xl ink and put it in my closet for about a month-and-a-half then yesterday loaded it into my printer and it didnt work. I reloaded it it still didnt work I could hear that there was ink in there but it wouldnt work so my wife brought it back to the store. Cashawin, an employee, told her she could not return the ink without the receipt. She asked him to look it up through my rewards number and he couldnt find it. He said because the box was open and I didnt have the receipt he could not exchange it. My wife said I had to open the box to find out the ink cartridge was broken didnt I? Sje asked him to look up how long I had been a customer and how much I bought from the store and never returned anything, and he said Im sorry I cant exchange it. She walked out before I saying omething she would regret. Need I say I will never ever buy so much as an eraser from Office Depot ever again.
