Back in March (2021)I ordered a tow hitch for my Dodge. I went in for my appointment. And the product that was ordered had a defect. So they ordered me another one and it got lost in shipping somewhere. the guys at this U-Haul dealership went above and beyond to help me get my tow hitch and installed it in about 20 minutes maybe less they have great customer service here and I recommend them to anybody.

We went to pick up the U-haul Truck. It had a issue with the blinkers. So we waited until the next morning for another one. They were excellent with everything. Thank you for excellent service.

Now, let me say this through u-haul.com if you are moving to the eastern side of Tennessee do not, I say again do NOT hire All American Moving! These people are not professionals! I hired them to help me and the manager wouldnt take my phone calls only text messages in which he took a long time to respond. The two movers that arrived, arrived late, in cut-up shorts, tattoos and unsightly piercings wearing no uniform or safe moving apparel (protective feet covering such as steel-toed or composite boots). Some of the items to move were very heavy and they showed up wearing cloth covered shoes (i.e. Converse) and no gloves or moving straps. Other than that I dont really have any complaints.

Rented a cargo van 4 times. Same distance each time. Busy moving. Looked at my credit card records today. Discovered 1st trip I was charged $48.64. 2nd trip $58.62, 3rd trip $76.57, 4th trip $87.22. Scam Alert.

I went in and had a hitch put on and it was done correctly and in a good time frame the gentleman that put it on was friendly and helpful his first name was Rob and everything was excellent

I went today to reserve a 6X12 trailer for this weekend. I met Chris and Christina (sp?). They are fantastic! I needed to purchase a hitch for my truck as well. Chris helped me pick it out AND offered to attach the ball to it at no extra charge. Christina helped me save money on my rental by comparing one-way rates vs returning to their location. I saved $40.00 by returning it. They are helpful and kind people. I highly recommend using this business for all your moving/hauling needs. They have a new long term customer with me!

We had an overall 4 star experience. The facility was mostly clean and secure which is the most important thing. However, I would like to share a few things that would have made it 5 star.First, we were charged late fees for several months that were actually paid on time. Our card on file was linked to an account that always had money. When we closed our account they were unwilling to reimburse us for these fees.Second, the security buzzer at the back unit doesnt work so if you get locked out you have to go all the way out front.Lastly, there were some mouse droppings, just a few, on top of a few of our boxes.All in all, good experience. My biggest issue was not being reimbursed for the unjustified late fees.

This is the only place Ive been able to experience real old fashioned customer service. This is the only place I fill propane tanks.

Awesome - had a hitch installed, work was completed much quicker than we expected. In and out no hassle - plus, there are a couple of places close that you can walk to to have lunch/dinner while you wait (Sopapilla Express, Lees Famous Recipe, Old Bag Of Nails, Dairy Queen). We live in Gahanna and have been to the U-Haul place on Morse Road a few times, but never again - theyre awful. Ill make the drive to Newark every time.

I’ve tried calling 4 separate times. Each time I was on hold for over 25 minutes and I just finally gave up every time. Come on!!

They got me in, hooked up for a 5x8 trailer (that I reserved online) in about 10 min, including paperwork. It was all ready when I walked out from the office. Clean. Newer trailer without dents.Upon return I was met by a team that unhooked the trailer and checked me out with emailed receipt. No hassles. Less than 5 min I was on my way. In the rain. I would definitely recommend this U-Haul over outlets in the greater Columbus / NE counties.

I picked up my uhaul from another location but needed to drop it off at the 21st st location. My pickup was a nightmare to the point I had to call this location to get answers. The guy from this location helped me, stayed on the phone and even spoke to the other location for me. Not sure what I would have done if not for the extreme patience and knowledgeable staff at 21st street Uhaul!!

We reserved a 20 truck and towing platform at the Newark, OH (1801 N 21st St.) Uhaul center. We are 65 years old and are very concerned about pandemic risks. We had paid for the truck in advance online and were assured the truck would be entirely ready to drive away, with trailer attached when we got there. However, when we arrived, the service person at the Uhaul center said we had not paid, and the truck was not at all ready to go--no trailer attached, no appliance dolly and furniture pads loaded on truck. We had to spend 20 agonizing minutes in the car trying to communicate with the not very nice or helpful service person. In addition, he was not practicing any safety precautions: he was wearing no mask and was not keeping 6 feet away from people, he did not disinfect the key before giving it to us, he did not disinfect any part of the interior of the truck before turning it over to us (and he had just been in it). The entire experience has been entirely nerve-wracking and potentially dangerous to our health. We have tried so hard to follow all state laws and common sense regulations about the pandemic--it is very distressing to have to be exposed to so many possible dangers just to rent a truck. In addition, the service person was surly, impatient, and rude to us. I am not posting this information out of spitefulness--rather Im trying to alert those who may be concerned about health risks what they may be in for at this Uhaul center.

The truck rental went well thus the 1 star. But I hesitate to give their storage unit even a 1 star. I stored my stuff in climate control inside storage unit for less than a month about 15 or 16 days. When I brought my stuff to new place cockroaches kept coming from my boxes, I did not have cockroaches at my previous place so I am sure they are from U-haul storage. Still trying to get rid of them! Their Moving trucks Id recommend but I highly advise against using their storage units!

Only 1 person was available to do paperwork. Another person was there but unable to do it. The process was very slow. The inside was dark and depressing due to inadequate lighting. The fellow who helped me was competent but seemed severely depressed. The process seemed robotic with zero positive vibs. He did a thorough job of making sure all the questions were answered and checking to make sure the lighting and turn signals worked and that the trailer was properly attached. The trailer was very beefy and it excellent condition.

Why cant I give this business 0 stars for rating? Waited 25 minutes trying to get a truck upgrade. Only one person working, Friday evening around 5:00. This employee was working with an elderly man who was questioning a bill, employee admitted that he had the wrong paperwork, no apologies to the customer. When he could finally work with me, no apologies about my wait. I asked for an upgrade, he said there werent any available. Usually at this point I expect the employee recommend another location. When I asked him if I could try another location, he said there was one in Zanesville, 40 minutes in the wrong direction I was moving to. He didnt bother to see if they had something available. I went home and looked up U-Hauls in the area, I found there were 6 within a 30 minute radius of my location, one with an available truck the right size. Forget it. U-Haul wanted $296 for the 10 foot truck, 2 days. Went to Budget in Heath, reserved a 12 foot truck for $190 and unlimited mileage. Not trying to be a hater, but maybe this U-Haul should improve their customer service? Moving is stressful enough without having the frustration of working with an inept and rude employee/store.

Rented the motorcycle trailer for a round trip $14.99. I had to get a truck later as my brakes went out on my truck. Rented a truck at a closer location (Closer location had no motorcycle trailer available.) Once I delivered the bike, the Uhaul manager at Buckeye Lake (Brian of Saints and Sinners where I rented the truck) convinced me to leave the trailer with him. Said it was no problem. I even called Stephanie at the location where I picked up the trailer to tell her. She said that was fine too. WHAT THEY FAILED TO TELL ME WAS THEY WERE GOING TO BILL ME AN ADDITIONAL $60 for not returning the trailer to the point of rental. It was a 20 minute drive. I would have returned it if the charge was $15. So they both failed at being honest. Both act like I am now a bad person since they got called out for being dishonest. Why do people have to lie to make a living..?

Called at 10 am and inquired about purchasing a hitch without the install. I was told the hitch was available and they said they could install that day at almost any time, so I made an appointment for noon. I found ways to burn up the 2 hours, only to go in and be told that the mechanic was not available and wouldnt be until Tuesday. So, I asked about my original plan which was to just purchase the hitch and install it on my own. After waiting in the store, the part was not even available. No attempt at a solution was made. They will not receive any business from me from this point on.

Not very fond of this place. You didnt very short distance move do not use the vehicle the full 24 hours but they were closed when we came back so we had to leave the key the refund was a penny and believe it might have been $0.05 but I think was a penny very unreasonable I wouldnt recommend them I will go somewhere else next time like budget budget sounds good

The women on the phone who gave me the address and the man in the store were very nice people.

They have the worst customer service I have literally ever experienced!!! They charged the wrong card and made my account go in negative and when I called to have it fixed I got disconnected. So I called back and got transferred in the middle of speaking. So I call back again a little angry since its my 3rd time having to hold and got hung up on TWO TIMES IN A ROW after that!! I would never go to this location and STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOBODY ELSE DOES!! Now Im waiting on a call back and I have a fee of $37.50 from bank as well.

How do I put negative stars? Scheduled an install online. Drove 90 minutes to get there only to be told the installer wasn’t in. They had no clue what they’re doing down there. Terrible customer service. Horrible horrible horrible.

Been waiting 3 days for the manager to get back with me on an issue. The company stole my money! They were to only to pay 2 months of storage on my card and took 4 months of payments. Not good with customer service.

We rented a small moving truck with a pull behind dolly, we where told one price and charged another all together we paid over 300 dollars for less the 24 hours! NEVER AGIAN!!

I used their storage & returned a truck there. Had to catch up with payment, so they unloaded my truck. You are not allowed to store food in any public style storage -- but vitamins is not food & some of my other items they tossed = an extra expense for me. Otherwise standard storage outside.
