Store aisles are not clear at all!Weve shopped here before, and while their products can be pricey, weve found some great items. So much so that we drive over an hour just to shop here. We prefer to shop in-person to see before I buy.However, today (Friday @ 11:30 a.m.) was TERRIBLE!Half of the aisles were full of boxed and loose merchandise. So much so that you cant even walk down them let alone push a shopping cart.I asked about why it was like this, and all I heard was, Oh... were sorry. I spoke to the manager who said this is a weekly event for them... this is how they unload truck deliveries every week!This is crazy! Ive never known a retailer to so totally disrupt the shopping experience. Store Manager Nicole initially refused to give me the name/contact information for the regional manager; she was rude and patronizing.Again, we really like the products here and are generally willing to spend the money here. But their lack of quality customer service skills and awareness of shopper needs is appalling. They cant do the bulk of this reshelving before or after open store hours? AND, THIS HAPPENS EVERY WEEK?

The Container Store is a great place for items to organize your home as well as inspiration for design. We got some great organizers while there for under bed storage and we loved the closet designs. One of our goals in our home is to have our closet well organized and have quality shelving and storage solutions. We haven’t taken the plunge yet but, we can’t wait to do so!

Love the staff and all the container products the have they carry all sizes small to extra large for all types of uses I just purchased these two 4 quart ClickClack containers with a push in lock and seal mechanism cant wait to fill em up... Thanks for all the help Kelly W.

Weve bought all of our closet systems from this Container store and have always been impressed with the value, service and attention to detail.Our latest trip had us working with Nameer, a closet designer. She took the time to follow up, make sure we knew what we were doing and asked us questions about things we didnt think about.First class organization every step of the way.

This place is always so stocked and organized and has super friendly employees, even if it is a bit expensive.

The worst customer service. I was told my order was ready to pickup, once I arrived they told me only half of my order was ready. No communication beforehand and I had over an hour drive. Employees were super rude when I arrived. They then said they would let me know when the remaining part of my order would be available. 2 weeks later still have not heard anything. I would highly recommend never bringing your business to this store.

Absolutely awful store- do not go in and shop!!! I am unable to wear cloth or medical face coverings. I went in with a face shield and started shopping around. A worker came up to me and told me my shield is not acceptable. I said I can’t wear the other kinds for health reasons- she said shields are not allowed. Their signage doesn’t say anything about face shields not being accepted. If I knew that I wouldn’t have even bothered going to the store. So I was discriminated against because of my face covering. Places like this will not get my business.

They have lots of sizes and other storage accessories. They also do custom closets as well. If you want your closet made the way you want it come on over. They are very helpful.

Discrimate against people with disabilities. Were rude over my face covering not being acceptable. Left and will not do bussiness there again

I had such a lovely experience at this store. This young girl by the name Mayan really helped me out! She gave me really good advice and was very efficient in bagging my items. She carefully wrapped all my mason jars and even convinced me to sign up to be a pop star! Thank you so much Mayan!

I thought it was a store full of containers. But one of the my co-worker told me about it so I decided to give it a try and I wasnt disappointed. They have a lot of things to help organize pretty much every room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The quality seemed good for the price. I got a couple of things like soap keeper and trash can and I am not disappointed. I will be back there for sure

I cant believe Ive overlooked this store for so long. It has something for everyone. Not just containers, but organizers, shelves, closets, office stuff, and tons more.The prices are pretty good. Their closet systems can add up pretty quickly, but the regular little boxes and organizer stuff isnt too steep.If you havent been here, stop in and browse. I bet youll find something you can use to make your life a little easier, or at least find a little inspiration.The Good: Amazing selection of stuff you never knew you needed. The store is very well kept, even on a busy Saturday. Staff was super friendly.The Not So Good: Prices can add up pretty quickly for their closet systems. Its located in the very busy Christiana area. Parking isnt too bad, but just getting in and out of the shopping center on a busy day is an exercise of patience.

Great selection, higher priced items (sometimes better deals online). But seemed understaffed. We normally order and within a hour get our goods, but we have to come back in a week to get our remaining pieces. Was told items in stock, but not enough staff to cut our pieces today (which isnt ideal being out of state). Again, great quality products and nice selection, just needs more help I guess.

5he nicest people ever! This is not a store I visit frequently, but each experience has been the best. Most recently I was in for for a storage upgrade. I had planned out what I wanted on the website, only to discover that some of what I wanted was no longer available. They were quick to resolve my concerns and create the plan I wanted. Shout out to Nameer and Nicole for their patience and positive attitude.

Big place with lots of stuff. Very hard to find someone to help you. They seem to be in their own zone.

Leah is amazing. My partner and I were starting to feel hopeless because of delivery issues, and she went above and beyond to help us find what we needed, in the time frame that we needed it in.

The sales associates are very friendly and helpful. They do a great job of being around but not hovering. The store is very well stocked and (of course) organized.

I love this place. The bf always thought I was exaggerating, until today. He has lots of ideas for the microfiber cloths he uses to was his car with, he liked their assortment of kitchen trash cans. He is motivated to go home and measure our garage shelves. LOL

You can find whatever cabinets or whatever you need, but the color variants are lacking. Everything is in shades of white to black, with some items being brown.

My first and only visit to container store today, involved 5 sales representative asking very politely, “can I help you find something”, I replied no thanks, my first visit, just looking at everything. Then I noticed a young man took position and just looked in my directions. I felt the pressure, decided to make my final selections and leave. Never again, thank God for Amazon. I may return items.

Always helpful staff, some great space-saving ideas, but still an expensive solution, and though their b2b guy is supposed to get back to me regarding bulk discounts, to be honest they would have to be fairly sizeable to make this a cost-effective option, I promise to give credit if that turns out to be the case. I still like coming here though, maybe its for the great customer service which is sadly lacking in so many competitors.

First time visiting this store. I was so impressed with the variety of products including closet, kitchen and office. They have everything you could imagine. I will be back often. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

I have never been in a Container Store before. The sales people could not be friendler or helpful. We are moving next week into a new house. We need plenty of kitchen items. My husband who never shops also enjoyed the store. So many good ideas, neat gadgets and storage ideas. Could spend serious $$$ there. Bought some items and signed up for their emails. Received coupon for 15%. We finish my shopping online

Great experiences every time Ive been in the store--- the employees are so courteous and actually help you, unlike many other stores now where you cannot even find someone to ask a question if you have one. The last time I was there, I had taken a picture of an area I wanted to organize, and the sales associate was able to give me the perfect recommendations for what to get to make things work more smoothly. Yes, as others have stated, some of the items can be expensive, but they are all good quality, many are actually made in the USA, and the things Ive had from here have help up and look perfect even after a few years. I have to spread out my trips here, but I absolutely love TCS and especially this branch.

This place always has something insanely cool. It is on the pricey side for some of the bigger things like wire shelving. Youre better off sticking to a home and garden center. You cannot beat them for things like tiny boxes and vials etc (I mean its kind of the name)The staff is always super cheerful and helpful and I know its a customer service thing but they also dont come across in the fake please end me, is it time for my shift to be over yet? way that a lot of retail places do just because working retail kind of *sucks* mostly because of us customers.This store is awesome, hands down.

I expected this place to be a bunch of plastic containers, boy was I wrong! There are all sorts of storage options for every aspect of your home. Aside from the plastic options, there were plenty of options that fit into the look of your home. Will definitely be back

I went here to get a case for my d&d mini figures. The sales guy I spoke with was wonderful, he helped me find the perfect case with adjustable compartments for all me differently sized figures. The price was 29.99 so I was balling at it a little, but he informed me they were having a sale and it was actually 25% off that price. That sold me, and I and my son took the case up front to check out. Alls well, right? NOPE. First, the two cashier ladies were so busy talking and laughing at some story of theirs that they completely ignored me and the only other customer, a sweet little old lady buying cooking containers, for a full three minutes before they went to take us at the registers. My cashier (tall Caucasian female with short dark Edna Mode type hairstyle) starts to ring me up. “That’s 29.99.” “But the sales guy said it’s on sale for 25% off?” “No. The 29.99 is after the percentage.” “But he said-“ and I’m pointing at the guy because he’s over at a desk looking area where I just came from, by all the closet organizing stuff. She just leaves the cash register, storming in his direction without me even finishing. I assume she’s going to talk to him, but she instead storms past him to the place where he’d helped me pick out my container. Cones back a few minutes later and says. “No, it’s 29.99. The sale is already included in the price.” “But that is -not- what your associate-“ again I point at him, he’s talking to someone else at the desk looking area “-said. He said it was 25% off of that price.” And she rolls her eyes at me and sighs. “Well it’s 29.99 and I can’t do anything to override that.” Now, I work retail. Full time. And I know this to be a lie. There’s always a key turn that can be done, an overide that can be performed, because there’s always, ALWAYS a possibility of human or computer error that needs to be fixed. In this case, it’s human error that needs fixing. Even if the salesman had made a mistake about the pricing (and he was such a nice guy, I probably would have still bought it at the 29.99 with all the effort he put into helping me), the MOMENT you tell a customer it’s one price and they get all the way to the register expecting that, it’s the kind of store mistake that needs an overide. But instead, I get an eye roll. An eye roll and the basic equivalent of telling me that it’s my problem, not theirs. “Then I don’t want it.” I immediately say, escorting my confused son from the store. “Uh huh.” Is my cashier’s reply. No ‘wait a second, let me get a manager and make sure this is right’ or even ‘have a nice day’. Just ‘Uh huh’. So tonight I’ll be shopping on amazon for that case. Brick and mortar stores need to remember that customer service is literally the only thing separating them from extinction. And while I feel bad for that nice man who helped me pick the case, I hope to GOD this review rings an alarm bell at corporate and they review their cashier’s behavior.
