So, we went to Pop Up Print Shop frantic because we needed a custom order for a little one’s birthday the day of. As I was telling Retha about my dilemma, she told me to take a deep breath and that everything would be okay. Although, it was really busy because they were working on this big festival that she would help turn my day around and put a smile on my face. I gave her my ideas and she started walking me through how we could meet my deadline. I knew that There would be a rush fee bc I waited last minute, but when I tell y’all that SHE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS and made me cry tears of joy when I picked up my customized items.She was right; my day really did turn around bc at Pop Up Print Shop -They Care!!! I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL & they just got a LIFE- LONG CUSTOMER.

I went to this shop on Thursday for a custom mug. I asked if they could do it on the spot. They said yes but there will be a rush charge of 5 dollars. They said if I want I could come early am Friday to pick up the mug. We agreed on Friday morning. I paid 20 for the mug and then 5 extra for the rush fee. I went back to the shop on Friday at 5:30pm the store hours say they close at 6. When I got there the owner acted surprised to see me. Saying she didnt know I was coming. Then they said the mug isnt ready they just started working now on it and it would be another 30 minutes to an hour. I was celebrating fathers day early and couldnt wait the extra hour because I had plans. It ruin my the Celebration plans I had with my husband. Also on Sunday I returned for the.mug and they told me it would be in a drop box. For me to call so them & they can give me the code. The code they gave me did not work and the store was closed. So I had to wait in 90 degree weather for a worker to come with the key. Lastly the picture on the mug was very faded. Not worth 25 dollars. Im understanding person however communication & quality is key. If you charge 5 dollar extra for a rush fee. Then you should have rush to get the mug done in a timely matter. Also they had my number and email. They could have called and told me the mug wouldnt be ready on time. Instead I wasted time and gas to get there and the mug wasnt ready.However I did like that the store is female black own and they were friendly. So because of that I wont give them a 1 star. Ill will give them a 2 stars although they didnt deserve it.

Very good customer service you can tell she knows what she’s doing ! I was in a rush for 2 shirts for next day she got it done earlier then I needed it and also was able to do 2 more out of 12 items that I ordered, love this place this is my new go to shop 💚 quality is amazing !!’ THANK YOU !!!

I was happy to stumble upon this place until I wasn’t. The owner is very warm and inviting however, she is not punctual or consistent which is very important especially if someone pays you for your services. She dragged her feet with my project and it is very hard to get in contact with her sometimes. She has no set hours of business operations. She does things when she pleases. If you plan on utilizing her services please make sure that you stay on top of her.

Always one of my favorite places to get work done in the downtown Newark area !! Very versatile and easy to work with executing ideas and big orders on demand..fun atmosphere also very friendly and home feelings...even if you don’t walk away with a product. Make and appointment or pop up to see the process! They are always making somthing and it will spark some ideas for your next design or print. Other designers have small art works for sale along the shops walls. So don’t forget to check out some of the local talent from Newark.

This is my go to spot, I love the owner and the atmosphere. Some days you walk in and end up having an enlightening conversation while looking at one of a kind pieces. From shirts to jewelry to artwork, they have it. I especially go there because she puts any picture I request on a tshirt or sweatshirt. Wow, I love this store so much. One day I was walking back to my dorm and the store window caught my eye. Not only is it a place where you can customize your own designs, but you can also find unique things from jewelry, sunglasses, hoodies, t-shirts and so much more. Em is a very professional graphic designer and I highly recommend working with her.

The team at Pop Up have made several unique items for me. They have even madesome of my own ideas “pop up” on sweatshirts. They’re professional, affordable and timely!

I absolutely love using Pop Up Print Shop. She is quite professional and takes you on a Step-by-Step journey of your vision and what it takes to accomplish your request. Her prices were phenomenal after she broke down my options from cheapest to quality pricing. It is worth paying for quality and my customers loved my apparel line. I must say that I have referred her to multiple friends and family because of her turn around rate and quality products.If you live in the Newark area, put her on your agenda to go visit!!! She ids quite the gems and handles your brand with care as if it were her own.

The potential is there, and I had high hopes/wanted to support a black owned business but was let down which is unfortunate. I drove into Newark at my scheduled pick up time just for the shop to be closed without have receiving a phone call from the owner. I had to call her. Then when I came back that evening, she started my customization when the shop was about to close and had the nerve to say that my file was messed up after 4 days of having it in her possession. Why wait until I am scheduled to pick my item up to tell me that?? I had to wait an additional 30 minutes, and she did not follow through with my request. Another customer’s item was done incorrectly while I was waiting and the owner just shrugged it off. Unprofessional.

I have made purchases recently and my experiences have all been great. Some of purchases have been very personal design requests and others have been for business including company logos or contact information imprinted on uniforms. All experiences with the owner have been positive and professional; and the deliveries timely based on initial discussions.I highly recommend Pop Up Print Shop for a professional and quality experience.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!Not only is the Pop Up Print Shop a great place to create merchandise and branding material, but it is also a dope place to shop for one-of-a-kind fashion pieces. Over the summer I purchased an amazing sunhat that aligned with my personal brand and have since encouraged my organizations, my job, and other creatives to patronize PUPS! If youre a beginner or not quite sure how to best deliver your message, the owner is a graphic design genius who is willing to help bring your vision to life in the most cost-effective way. Its great to know that Newark has a place right downtown that can get you exactly what you need by when you need it!!

Such a sweetheart, she helped this senior citizen figure out how to create some custom bags for my close girlfriends. She did the design, let me see a proof, printed and shipped them directly to me all within a week. Her customer service was impeccable and her patience with me was appreciated because I dont know much about technology, custom printing and stuff. Also, her prices came out at a better rate then anyone else.

Im another victim from this Pop Up Print Shop like the customer Black Pearl. The owner Em supposedly made extra merchandise that I ordered and asked if she could display the extra. Upon agreement if there was ANY sales she would pay me the percentage we agreed upon. Not only did she sell my merchandise with original design(and not contact me). She also took an order for the same merchandise and my design. Two weeks later she hasnt contact me about the sale or the possible large order she was going to do. This is why black cant support black businesses. I heard recently that the shop was robbed...God doesnt like ugly he was letting you know stop stealing from people. Breast Cancer Survivor :-(

Horrible service -- consistently! Its disappointing to experience such unprofessionalism during the Citys revitalization period...especially from a black business owner. Dont waste your money, and most certainly dont waste your time attempting to reason, explain, or discuss anything with the owner.

Pop Up Print Shop is a cute print boutique in Newark that has an amazing ambiance, fabulous style and decor and awesome local/ featured Artwork. And to top it all off, she does custom designs and prints on the spot. I was able to get a custom Nina Simone shirt for my aunts 55th birthday the day of before her party. Can we say best last minute gift ever !?! Then I found out that she has dropshipping options for her customers/clients as well. That just made everything easier for me, so I will definitely be back and refer her to all of my school/church connects and entrepreneurial friends.5 stars just isnt enough, plus she is very sweet and understanding. She helped me come up with a brand slogan, layout and all of my business needs.
