This place is simply the greatest.You may think I say that because of their famous Cinnamon rolls, which are quite fantastic, but those are why I keep going back. Its the no bake cookies!! These hidden gems are every bit the best in the no bake universe as the rolls are in the roll world. Taste and smell just like they came out of a home kitchen, fresh and fabulous.You can tell the second you pick up either one of these items and feel the weight of them, that youre about to embark on a delightful sweet treat adventure.

I am picky when it comes to quality baked goods. This place is a homerun every time. Pecan rolls are amazing. Way too much for one person too eat, but that doesnt stop me, ever.The coffee is also VERY good. Quality and always served hot. Too hot for my liking, but that is on me for not asking them to adjust it.Overall I would put Rolls by the pound up against any cinnamon roll around. And the service is top notch too. Great place.

Best bakery in town! You won’t find an owner more dedicated to the business! I have seen this guy successfully run two fast pace businesses and I couldn’t be more proud as a friend! It is amusing to see people come on here and make bad reviews. Taking zero effort towards learning about a the business and fast to judgement. Support local and take the stick out of your butt when its not perfect. I would recommend this bakery to anyone so go check it out!

I have been purchasing these cinnamon rolls for years; for staff; for friends, family and parties. I had not been in Newark for some time and stopped by in June 2021 for a cinnamon roll. While it was very good; I was disappointed that the rolls have changed. There used to be a lot of cinnamon sugar crusting throughout the roll. Now; there is just light marbling of cinnamon; not the gooey filling that was so good.. The icing is the same; delicious; and the roll was fresh and tasty. Just not the same experience as the rolls that I purchased previously. All of the baked goods are excellent.

(Now located at 597 Country Club Dr, Newark, OH 43055) Their new location has a huge amount of seating, is amazingly decorated, and is great for hanging out on my laptop sipping a coffee and enjoying the best cinnamon rolls in, well... anywhere!If you have not been here yet, GO! Updated: I just wanted to give an update on my review. I wrote this about a year ago. Not truly knowing just how great of a business this is. When you walk in, or pull around to their drive thru, you are welcomed by a family. You will leave feeling like you are apart of that family, it’s genuine, it’s more than coffee and food. The items on the menu are just bonuses to what you take from your experience. I decided to take a new job out of town and to say leaving this place didn’t come into consideration with my decision would be a lie. Everyone knows the food/coffee is amazing! But you all need to know what you are getting into when you become a customer. Just an absolute blessing to of come to know them. Thank you ♥️I have been coming regularly for the past year and all the staff has been so friendly! The woman at the window always knows my drink and they go above and beyond for all their customers. I refer them to everyone every chance I can. Thank you to the staff and owners for everything you all do!

I can’t not express enough my love for this place enough! The staff is absolutely phenomenal. Prices are on point and what I am extremely pleased with is the consistency of the coffee day in and day out. It’s the same every time not a whole lot of variation and I am never disappointed. I cant go anywhere else now they have me spoiled! They only days I don’t get coffee is Sunday and Monday when they are closed. If you have not been yet a must try for sure!!

Just there was so looking forward to these cinnamon rolls. heard a lot of good things. Large, very dry a little over cooked and some edges crispy with touch of char. Icing was very good. 4.00 a roll pretty steep price. For a fresh roll should be moist. Disappointed. 2 to 3 stars.

Ok first time having and Im not a fan of the cinnamon rolls. They are very dry, to much cinnamon and sugar. Icing was like liquid on it and it was very very sweet..

Finally got to stop here after hearing nothing but good things and it completely lived up to the hype!!The perfect pick me up for a rainy day. The cinnamon rolls are AMAZING and you will never be able to go back to store bought again. Also their whoopie pies are huge and generously filled, so have a napkin handy for spillage! Absolutely worth the calories and we are so lucky to have them. Stop in if you have the chance!

It was ok. Service was great and the place was clean. Ive heard a lot of good things about this place was excited to try it, but honestly, I was underwhelmed. We had a cinnamon roll, a long john, and a flavored coffee drink. The coffee was mostly syrup. It tasted like it was made for people who like a little coffee in their cream and sugar, rather than a little cream in sugar in their coffee. I could not actually taste any coffee. The roll and long john were both dry. I like my cinnamon rolls really ooey and gooey with cinnamon sugar filling, and these just did not have that. The texture was more like a dinner roll than a nice, dense cinnamon roll. The staff was really friendly, however, and I would try it again to sample some of the other goodies and regular coffee (no syrup this time). A lot of people seem to love the rolls, which is why we went, but they just didnt do anything for me.

This is a family favorite of ours ! I wish I could have a large frozen Rolls mocha, no whip, with almond milk all day every day!! They always have gluten free donuts ready for my little celiac baby, he is always so excited with his surprise flavor of the day! The establishment is clean and so so cute and welcoming. Not only are the treats and coffee delicious though, the Pounds and their incredible crew truly bring a light to our community. The entire place is full of the most genuine kind hearted people! My husband and I absolutely love this place! No one can beat their cinnamon rolls, they are huge and buttery and delicious, and the frosting isnt overly rich and sugary either. The new location is roomy and very light and bright inside with a homey feel. The family that runs the shop are so delightful that Im not sure which I love more about the place, their out of this world cinnamon rolls or getting to support such a great small business. They really make you feel like an old family friend when you go in there. I havent tried their coffee bar selection yet but I plan to give their latte a try soon. Im sure itll be tasty. You cant beat the size of their baked goods for the price. Supreme quality at rock bottom prices families can still afford 🤩

If youve never been to Rolls by the pound, you need to. Everything they have is incredible ❤️ The coffee is the best around, and the pastries are just as good as the coffee. The cinnamon rolls including the icing is at least a pound a piece. The owner is kind and wonderful. Great place to visit❤️❤️❤️❤️

Every time I come into Rolls by the Pound I am blown away with the friendliness and customer service I receive from the staff. No matter how long the line is, they really take the time to make you feel like more than a dollar sign. Plus the food is amazing!
