Not only are the drinks and pastries delicious (try the candy lattes and the London Fog!), but the whole ambience of this shop is great, with a cute seating area and beautiful decorations. Ive studied here, met up with friends here, and been interviewed for a newspaper here. Its a great place to come to do all three! I especially love sitting at the window seats and looking out onto Main Street:) if youre looking for a cute, homey, local coffee shop with lots of options, this is the place!

The ambience is relaxed and homey. It definitely feels like its an extended part of the University of Delaware as there were students studying in the cafe at the time we visited. The food we ate was actually quite good, certainly not top restaurant quality, but very good food for a cafe.The coffee, however, was pretty average. I got my hopes up with there being an entire candy latte section but the Milky Way latte I ordered did not have a whole lot of flavor and the coffee did not really cut through very much.

The employees are good people, friendly, and the service is always good. I highly recommend Brewed Awakenings

My favorite coffee shop on Main Street. Cozy and a great place to quietly get some work done. It is a small space but there are usually tables available. The coffee is great and the food is good.

Probably the best coffee on campus and easily the most cosy coffee shop. Feels like youre in an old fashioned bookshop in the city. Its hands down my favorite place to go for a coffee and it would get 5 stars if it had a little more on the food menu and was a tad bit bigger...but then again it might lose that cosyness 🤔

I originally called just to make sure it was open and Warren answered. He was super pleasant and answered all the questions my mom and I had. We were looking for chocolate and coffee💗 We found it. Have yet to try the chocolate chip muffin, but it looks super yummy!💕 The location is hard to find but its amazingly adorable inside. It feels so warm and comfy, just like home. Thanks so much!

Its fantastic for flavor and service. The staff is wonderful and kind. The only thing is that the steps are a little hard to surpass if you have mobility issues.

Always worth the trip! I had a decaf white rhino and it was delicious as usual. The service is friendly the atmosphere is cozy and acclectic, there are lots of board games and puzzles to play with while you sit and enjoy your drink, and the baked treats are delicious. Brewed Awakenings is a true Newark tradition and jewel.

Classic college town coffee shop. Tiny, cramped, stuffed to the brim with students doing their homework, plus be the occasional professor or parent. The coffee is excellent. The service is also excellent, if a bit overwhelmed at times. One of my favorite stops on Main Street!Try the London Fog chai tea latte. Its amazing.

This is a very nice coffee shop. Very low-key atmosphere (unless a greek event takes over), but the coffee is very good, and they offer other interesting food and drinks as well. So far its the only place that Ive seen offer Bubble Tea.

I find it very unprofessional that when I order something simple like a Coffee my order gets delivered but if I ever order something that requires to be cooked my order gets refunded and then you guys are magically “closed” or not accepting online orders. Your weekend cook is lazy and you need to find a new one because they are losing you money and you just lost a whole companies business.

Very welcoming, open and friendly. Community Cup/Community Plate pay-ahead system used often and used well. Kindness and compassion modeled and encouraged!

Cute little place with a variety of food and drink options. Barista was friendly and knowledgeable about the choices. My latte and my husbands Italian soda were both reasonably priced and delicious. Well be back.

Best coffee shop in Newark DE. Everything ranging from their black coffee to their lattes and even sandwiches are worth trying. The environment is very cozy with bookshelves and small tables all around. 5/5
