This is one of the better family dollar stores. One time the cashier forgot to put one of the items I paid for in my bag. When I went back the next day with the receipt and the manager gave me the item after she confirmed it on video. Which was fine.

It was a quick stop. The store is organized and clean. The staff was nice and friendly.

Staff arent the nicest, other than that it is a pretty compact store with clothes, appliances, and foods.

Went early in and out in a dash, both young ladies that assisted me was VERY NICE!!

I was insulted by the security guard and the cashier in charge. Very rude very unprofessional. They dont to work and they treat everyone to be a their until proven otherwise. All my guilt is trying to return a defected item and had the receipt (literally 3 days ago) and they refused even to discuss it cause I did not have the package on me! At the point I said I think I have the package the guy threw the item on the stand then she snatched it, I tried to get it back she lies saying I snatched and I have to leave her domain. Unbelievable set of redness and vulgar-ness.

All I can say is...When in Rome...do as the Romans. This place is NOT my cup of tea. But its everything to this community.

Well I had my share at that store as a shopper it varies in Newark one time a fight broke out between two people pepper spray was use by other person security was not at all caring// another time I saw their on duty Security Guard stealing merchandise that should never happen never the less the prices are good.🤨

Slow services & workers always have a impatient attitude.

I have to drop this store rating down. We the people deserve to be treated better. Just because they changed all the staff and the new manager doesnt seem like he wants to be there. Its not like how it used to be when you would be greeted when you walk in the door.I have always gone to this store and now I dont want to go there at all. I rather go elsewhere. You cant get a smile from most of the staff or they will seem annoyed when you ask a question.BRING AL BACK!!!4 months agoGreat friendly people that work here. Good experience long lines sometimes but great selections.

Store is decent with products but the mice are all over the place. Cashier was talking loud holding cell phone with one hand on speaker, complaining about calling HR due to her missed hrs while ringing up items with the other hand. I only recommend going there for non food items if it was an emergency.

Dont let the outside fool you the landscape guys were out there blowing stuff around thats why it looked a little messy in the parking lot. But, when you walk in the store everything is pretty organized and pretty neat and pretty well maintained. Customer service was very friendly and helpful.

Location has alot to offer but service is a bit flaky. At times the floor would be a mess with products def needs to be kept up. Overall it isnt worse than other family dollars and at least has potential

Clean and neat establishment I found anything I was looking for in minutes and the cashier and young lady in the aisle didnt hesitate to help me she deserves a thank you I dont remember her name but she has blonde hair.

I like because its right next to my job. If I need something real quick, I could count on family dollar to have it. Its not always organized but its ok.

Place is okay they have a wide array of itsms from food to clothing and accessories like fans but there a bit expensive 22$ for a fan, which to me is a lot at a dollar store. especially when you can get one for 10$ nd under from big brand name stores where if it breaks you can get a refund or an exchange if it breaks. God help you if you need to get a refund here! the employees are nice but at check out got asked for money from the guy in front of me i got hassled by him when i said no, he could have easily put something back, he wasnt poor at all just greedy!

The cashier I had spent to much time talking and joking with Co.workers that were off the clock. Some of the employees just came for a visit or that just clocked out. And to security guards. The cashier held up the line being ghetto and eating snacks talking and while ringing up customers the shelves were bare.boxes of merchandise still unpacked all through the Isles .at times the employees try to blame bare shelves on a few people shoplifting but their is no way anyone is shoplifting the whole store.while you have security and cameras recently an employee told me that they were short on staff and the company had fired a lot of workers

Lines be too long,every time i come. They need more workers,but the ones that do work there or kind of nice.

Store looks like a hurricane went through it...boxes stacked in front of shelves making it difficult to get to items on the shelves. Store manager using bad language at the register...garbage piled in front of entrance on the outside of the store.

Service was ok,some things were in the wrong place,u were conf used with what price went with what item,but the people were nice.
