Every time I go to GameStop, I feel very excited ever since I was 5 years old to buy games for my Nintendo Wii, and now I buy games for my Wii, Switch and PS4.

Love this store just need more stocks.

My experience at this GameStop is always a great one! I go there a few times a week for pops and collectibles. The manager Kristine and her employees are always so helpful in helping me find what I want and making shopping so easy! Theres a girl that works here, I forgot her name (sorry!), who is so incredibly helpful. I had ordered a controller for my sister, and it got lost in their system. She had the item, but she couldnt check it out for me. This young woman called them and sorted it out, then called me and let me know it was all ready to go. The fact that she took the time to figure it out, and was so kind and apologetic during the entire process, really made an impression on me. You dont get that from a lot of places these days. I was impressed with their stock as well.The o ly bad thing, through no fault of their own, is that theres literally no parking near the store. I double parked out front haha

The Guy Had the wrong prices stocked on the shelves. When I got to the register everything was more than listed. He then rang my order as cash when I specifically requested debt. Remarked that he could not change it and I really wanted the game so I had to use all of my cash and was unable to get change for the bus to get home on time because I had no cash.

They did not accept my money and they wonder way they are go out of business

Its an iffy location but the game selection and consoles / accessories are updated and pretty decent. Theres a lot of selection its just the area around can get crowded. Got a used game for my nephew which I had to exchange... No problem and the staff was nice enough to suggest other choices and patient while I was still deciding which one to get. Overall a smooth transaction.

I called and requested them to hold an item for me. after they told me they would hold the item I drove over 45 minutes to come to the store. when I got to the store they told me that the item was pre ordered for somebody else. although its been over 72 hours since they were supposed to pick it up they still would not sell me the item. complete waste of time and accomplished nothing on my trip to this game stop dont ever come here

Great customer service will help you figure out what you like and what you want to buy/preorder so they are really reliable if not to busy but havent came across a time where they werent helpful so it would have to be a all-around 5 star rating from me I just picked up Borderlands 3 from they also picked up Crash Racing

Great 4 $1, they really get you if you ad toppings.. way better NYC pizza though.

The people in there are very nice and welcoming at times. Sometimes, they are very busy where they cant tend to your every need or question but when you do get their attention, they are very personable. Everyone who works there has knowledge about different games and or systems.

I love this gamestop. My number one issue is that there arent enough employees at the registers. The lines be long but they do the best they can with what they can

Horrific, the facility smells like a locker room. Lines move at a snails pace & the staff are sub par. As you can tell I am not a GameStop fan but if I have to recommend a store, I would say go to the one on Ferry Street. Its nice and clean service is good, the staff is informative and youre in & out fast

Seems like all GameStops are cheap when it comes to buying from you but expensive when it come to you buying from them, even when you are a member. You get better deals when you buy or sell on LetGo! Truthfully, try it youll never go back. Use GameStop as a last resort for quick cash.

Another game stop. Not too different from others. What makes it stand out is that its in one if the major streets in the city of Newark. The staff are good folk and they are stocked well like any other. Plenty of boss stops, taxi, and Lyft/Uber drivers around.The only real negative issue is ironically the location. Its not the stores fault, but rather the city.Its a constant issue for customers who will be approached by odd characters either inside or outside the store. The mentally ill, drug users, and beggars will will always be on the look out. Anyone approaching at the intersection this store is located will likely run into one. Its always uncomfortable knowing they are at every corner either asking you for money or causing trouble if you linger around too long.

Knot wourth my time going there couldnt make a purchase with a debit card credit cards obly wont buy from them again

Love the prices but not the buy back agreement its highway robbery. Theyll buy your game for 3$ but sell it for 20+ .Financial Gangsters

It was kind of eh.

Staff was courteous. Store was clean. Corporate needs to change the carpets there though they smell kinda musty. Theyre clearly vacuumed and cleaned but theres only so much that can be done with those carpets. Yuck.

Watched a manager purposely sell the incorrect game to an unknowing customer because the used game brings in more money than a new game. The customer asked for the new saints row. The manager recommended saints row 2 used even though saints row 3 was already out because, if thats not the one he wants he has 7 days to return it.

Small store in a crowded location, parking is only downfall as it can be challenging to find it depending when you go. Staff is friendly store is clean, very easy to find what are you looking for

I was just in there this morning. The worst customer service from Amanda. She was rude and had no idea what she was doing. Sold us the wrong code. She was talking to the other rep about the schedule and her weekend plans and made us wait for her to help us. She was complaining about being there. Very unprofessional. Ridiculous. She wasted my time and sold us the wrong code. Never going there again. Poor Customer Service. Hire better staff!! She needs to get fired.

Amanda was super helpful finding my 5 year old son and I, two Jim Lee Funko Pops that werent on the shelf. She even gave my son a free pokemon card!

Store is very dirty they have carpet dont know why stores keep doing that carpet gets nasty cause of people coming in with their shoes wet and it starts smelling first thing I notice was the smell coming from the carpet and how durty it was not a place to sell stuff even if your selling video games friendly stuff thought and very attentive on costumer just next time who ever works there dont try to hit on my gf.

Just called to get trade in info, and as i as asking another question, the female rep just hung up. Very rude, i guess she didnt like that i questioned how they dont give you credit towards and digital games you have on your harddrive when you trade in a sysytem. You just lost those games, thats not cool at all.

Super nice helpful staff, good selection of both new games. Better selection of used games than most GS stores. Unfortunately the area has a sketchy element to it due to a small amount of drifters that frequent the broad and market st area. I once witnessed two military aged men come in an harass one of the workers for being a sell out and working at games stop, they even threatened the guy with bodily harm. Anyplace else the cops would have been called to show these guys the door. But in brick city I guess this is what you have to put up with sometimes. Aside from this incident, nice staff and customers everyones happy to get their game on.

Bought a few games and none of them work took them back and got a few more and yet again they still dont work. Out of the 23 used games I bought only 4 worked smh this place needs to step there game up

They get the games fast and they are respective i went in that GameStop when I was 4 years old I still love it

So I went to pay my kids phone bill. Stood in line while the one guy walked around the store. the other saw me getting frustrated and finally ask to help me. I told them what I was there to do. They both look at each other and say they dont know how to get into the system. I said well your manger should know. They say one on vacation the other dont like to be bothered on her day off. I say to them so they dont train you guys to do things when they not here. There reply no . so I said call her and have her walk you threw it. He text her she says no she wont give him the log in information. They suggest another store which was closed. Not mad at the workers but the mangers need to get it together whom ever they are wont go back there again.

One employee was on her phone and she put it down and there where nudes back and forth on it made my trip alitte awkward... other than that a decent game stop
