Lots of flies, but workers are great and ice cream was amazing.

Your counter rep should have on a hairnet. Her hair is long and dangles in the ice cream tub when scooping. She wears one glove to scoop and no glove when holding the cone. Very unsanitary. I observed this at 2:08pm Newark Airport JetBlue terminal across from gate 17 on 8/10/21

We didn’t end up buying ice cream here, so no idea how it was, but about 10 minutes after posted opening time we stood there watching employee chat with her friend as she slowly and casually put her cart together. We had to start boarding soon, so asked her when she would open and she said “give me about 5 more minutes”. No apology, no rush. Just bad service.

As I sat here waiting for my connection. I saw abysmal food handling on public display. This young man has a bad head cold and has blown his nose at least 6 times while I watched. He also beglected to wash his hands after blowing his nose. I fully intend on contacting airport authorities about the young man ( has a light beard and appeared of spanish origin). He constantly picked / rubbed his nose, playfully with his serving glove by lightly tossing it at his co-worker and stupidly grinning. He also spent a lot of time on his cell phone and then used the same hand to serve ice cream without washing. This young man should be fired as he is putting the public at risk of food poisoning or potentially worse. I wish I could give zero stars. Pathetic. Additionally the other co-worker was complicit in all these shenanigans and should be terminated as well. This review was intended for the Ben and Jerry s Terminal A Newark International Airport.

They cant make shakes but you can get cones and cups. Definitely hits the spot when have a craving for over creme.

A nice neighborhood treat--as a non-native Newarker, Im pretty sure Im missing out on the homely aura that comes with Nastos. Its a quaint little ice cream shop that provides cakes, Italian ices, and other sweet cold fare. The flavors are what you expect them to be, and theyre pretty damn good.
