Good bagels but the door says Monday-Sunday 7am-3pm and that’s just not true. They never open on time and are closed on sundays. Maybe fix the hours on the door

Great food and tasty bagels here! Its an ideal spot for college students near downtown Newark, Delaware on Chapel Street. The prices are not bad but wait times can be quite disappointing, but its an overall good place to eat.

I went to buy a dozen bagels at 9:30 am. They wouldn’t let me buy the last 4 cinnamon raisin bagels as part of my dozen. They said they had to save some for the rest of the day - so it didn’t matter that I was a paying customer. Very poor customer service. And I won’t be going back to this location.

I have been eating their bagels for a while. (Cant go toooooo often!!!!) The bagels are so fresh and made there. But they are so generous with all the ingredients (I love the Bacon, egg and cheese and the chicken salad is out of this world) I have been to 2 of the stores and they are so friendly at each location.You should definitely stop by.

One of the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches Ive ever had and you cant beat the price. Sandwiches are loaded with back. And the bagels are large and delicious Ive gotten a lot of my friends hooked. Friendly staff and usually quick unless there is an extremely long line. On the weekends, get here before the college students wake up and youll never wait more than 10 minutes

Needed a quick bite of clean protein. Got an egg white vege omelet. It was fresh and delicious. Free water available. Everything was home made.

It was ok. Coffee was acceptable as was the bagel sandwich. The bagel was more like bread or roll texture, not thick and chewy.

My favorite bagel place. I have yet to get a bad bagel. They are soft on the inside, crisp on the outside. The bagels and cream cheese are made fresh daily. I highly recommend them more than any other bagel place in newark.

The cashier was stupid enough to crack my debit card almost all the way in half by swiping it so hard& didnt have the decnecy to even apologize. She didnt even greet us, when we walked up she was playing on her phone. The cook was nice& she was quick while making the food. Although it was good food, Im never going again because of how ignorant the cashier was beyond rude.

Stopped by for a cup of coffee and got a bagel with it. Very tasty heavy and full of cream cheese. Fast and friendly service.

The lack of signs visable at the register made it hard to make an order. That combined with a very unhelpful cashier made this an unpleasant experience. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular. The tables were not regularly cleaned. Compared to other bagel & sandwich shops Ive been to, this place needs a lot of improvement.

Hot bagels cafe has the best bagels in Newark. I was on a business trip over there and I was amazed on how good those bagels were.
