Liam is super easy to work with responsive and generous with his expertise and work! I went along with a friend trying instruments and got an on-the-spot fix for my instrument as well. His selection of clarinets was excellent.

Liam has the best clarinets in the tri-state area! I had been trialing clarinets at a few different places and everything was just ok. Then I went to see Liam and felt like I would be happy with most of the instruments he had in stock. The hard part was just choosing one because there were so many (8!) that I liked a lot. Liam did a great job setting the instrument up the way I wanted it after purchasing a new Tradition Bb clarinet. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new instrument! His shop is also an easy train ride from NYC in a beautiful wooded spot :)

Liam Burke is extremely knowledgeable and a perfectionist— two very great qualities that make a clarinet repairman. I went to get both my Buffet A and Bb clarinets repairs and they needed a lot of work. He spent extra time on my instruments to make sure they sounded and felt great. When I picked up and played my horns, there was an immediate difference and they played beautifully. I’ve been playing them for about 3 months now after the repair and still perfect! I was there for a while and he gave me great recommendations for lunch and to pass the time in the surrounding neighborhood. The showroom is inviting and filled with great clarinets and barrels to try out while you wait. Liam is a very nice and welcoming person and he will definitely take care of your clarinets.

Ive been taking my instruments to Liam for several years and recently purchased a new Buffet Tosca B-flat clarinet through him. He always does excellent work, is efficient with his time, and is extremely easy to work with. He really goes the extra mile to make sure your instrument is set up exactly the way you want it to be. I bought my first R13 through Liam and he took a lot of time to make sure that I understood the features of having a professional clarinet. After one month he did a tune up and has also done zoom calls with me when I encountered small problems. The day before leaving for music camp, Liam patiently sat on a zoom call with me for over 30 minutes to help me fix up my clarinet since I was unable to meet in person.
