Been coming here for years. I love L&M. Make sure to stop by for a Bacon, Egg & Cheese on a bagel or roll. They have a wide variety of things you need. I can admit they might be more expensive but support local! These guys are amazing! They are so welcoming and know everyone who goes there. Make sure to try to deluxe chicken salad too! Definitely recommend them!

By far one of the most overpriced deli in NYC. Charge you 2x for tax for the order and when you do a card order. Guy at the front with glasses over chargers for completely the littlest order. Small French fries costed $5 and a roll turkey sandwich costed $10. It costs the same as a hero which made no sense because I ordered a hero from there. For what you would spend at another deli you can buy yourself lunch 2x for what you would spend here once with the same exact quality. Food isn’t even that special. Last time I’m buying anything from here again. Seems like they are fraud.

First of all the guy charged me like 35 dollars for white claw pack!!! 7/11 doesn’t even charge that. What a rip off guy is clearly upping the seltzer’s. Good food but the price for beer Is not worth it. I honestly feel robbed. Never will be there again

Always great food, good people and great service

Recently hosted an event for 25 and L&M exceeded high expectations. As one of many tough critics who has grown up with North End Italian and Little Italy here in Manhattan- L&M is one of the better traditional Italian options going and perhaps the best value. Email communication is not a strong suit but they made it all happen. Very glad to have them nearby. Thank you.Individual ratings per dish below:Baked Ziti: 7 (out of 10) pretty straightforward dish- combination of tomato and vodka sauces.Eggplant Rollatini: 7.5- nicely prepared but could have used a better eggplant to ricotta (too much ricotta) ratio and eggplant to tomato.Roast beef with gravy: 8. Swimming in flavorful sauce but thin strips of roast beef were a nice surprise.Chicken parmigiana: 9.5. Didn’t personally have but everyone raved about it and it was gone before I could have some. Thinly pounded and extremely appetizing.Chicken Francese: 9.5- delicate, high quality chicken and a wonderfully flavorful sauce.

This old-school neighborhood deli has been operating from the same location since 1971. (Few businesses survive even half that length of time.) Compared to other specialty shops and boutiques that have opened in the area, L&M aint the prettiest, but they are consistent. If youre fortunate enough to become a regular customer, they will learn your favorite orders by heart, who your favorite teams are, and still manage to have you in and out of there as quickly as possible. In addition to their classic burgers, fresh salad bar, and homemadechicken, turkey and roast beef, they also serve their classic breakfast items all-day.Great craft, domestic, and international beer selection in the back of the store, as well. As far as delis and bodegas go, I give L&M Deli 5 stars. Dont forget to try their Reuben.

Have been going to them for many years. Food is very good, staff is warm and professional. Goes back to old school caring for the customer as well as pride in their food and establishment. Unfortunately, traits that are not as evident now- a- days...

I just love this place. Best sausage, egg & cheese bagels, nicest staff. Family-owned and in the neighborhood for years, its terrific.

Quite possibly the most expensive breakfast sandwich in the city. $6 for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll!? $2 for a small coffee. You would think youre ordering at the Ritz but its just any other corner bodega with Park Ave. prices. In fact the delis on park ave dont charge 6 dollars for that sandwich. Ridiculous

I believe I may have gotten sick from their potato salad or chicken salad. When I came in a couple of days later and mentioned the possibility to one of the owners, he denied it and said I must have gotten the 24-hour virus, which presumably can afflict someone in their 30s for the first time and cause vomiting for a week.Never again will I go back.

Same as any other new breed of NY Deli with a gourmet sign and 3rd worlders running the show.
