Alice is one of the best in the business. Very knowledgeable and helpful, great selection made easy. Were lucky to have her in New York and more specifically the neighborhood.

Amazing fabrics, very rude owner. After asking only a couple of questions about the fabrics (which all cost $145/yard+) the owner asked me if I was actually going to buy something or just look. I was shocked to see her being more personable to her fellow employees than the customer. This is a business which should support creativity, enthusiasm and customer relations, all of which I did not experience at this store. So, if youre looking for really beautiful fabrics and do not care about the shopping experience, this is still one of the best stores in the city, otherwise, look elsewhere.*editI just took a closer look at the fabric I purchased and it’s covered in black stripes of some sort of residue.

Gorgeous shop. Beautifully laid out, and a very knowledgeable staff. I recommend coming in knowing what youre going to make, as the skeins are a little pricey, and its very easy to buy impulsively for the sake of just knitting with something that feels heavenly. Well worth a trek into the city for.

Pricey but high quality fabrics, yarn and sewing stuff. Im a sewer, I love Liberty of London fabrics and when I want to treat myself, this is where I go. I highly recommend this store if youre a sewer or knitter.

Ordered a sample for $10. Owner said fabric was not sample-able because it had a large pattern. Refused to refund me the $10. Wonder how many people shes done this to?Response to owner: Well, it did happen. I called asking for a refund and the lady on the phone said that you dont refund such a small amount. I asked her to at least send me a sample of something else, which she didnt do. Im not about to go searching for my order number after all this time. If you had wanted to resolve the matter, a refund would have been issued when I called the store.

WAY OVERPRICED SHIPPING. JUDGING FROM OTHER REVIEWS JUST IN IT FOR MONEY TO HELL WITH CUSTOMERS. FAIL.

Lots of formal and silks. Good amount of wool and Chanel style boucle.

Very expensive, asking personal questions, rushing customers out the store, why stay open if you can’t help a customer because your by yourself, useless.
