This Kmart barely has anything for men. There selection is as bad as there business tactics. I was dissatisfied with the products, however the staff tried there best. I can say this, if your woman shopping then this more for you, and the children. Its a good time to go shopping there too they have all kinds of clearance deals for kids,

WHAT HAPPENED TO KMART???This store was clean but where were the salesperson...MA. And the Kmart I knew growing up isnt anymore this place looked like a thrift shop. Clothes very cheap quality and style not worth prices.Its in the same category as 1990s 99c store. Not worth shopping at.

The store wasnt what I remember when I was growing up. Welcoming and lots of items. It definitely needs remodeling or at least a paint job to give it a fresh look. Other than that it has practical things for around the home and basic necessities.

I love this store but they really need to improve their telephone customer service because its basically non-existent, you call and your call gets forwarded to the Twilight zone until the line finally hangs disconnects. 🤷. I think the biggest mistake this company made was closing their Ridgewood Queens location that was by far the best location they had in all of New York, if they were smart they would reopen that location.

With a majority of Kmarts that went out of business near my house in NJ, I take advantage of being in NYC. The store is pretty neat with a lot of items. Only downfall is a lot of time they have a line. The right people there, the line moves quickly.

Seemed cleaner and more organized than years ago, but I couldn’t find blister band aids 🩹

This kmart closed on July 13, 2021. Before that. This was a good store with good prices.

First time there was today. I gave it a 3 because its a pretty big store but not much content. Not sure if I went on a bad day or not. Found a cute pair of shorts and dress but not much Tops. Just need more inventory.

Good deals - Kmart has what youd expect, which in Manhattan is a rare gift.

I am just happy to find a Kmart. I will shop here every time I visit because it is one of only 25 still standing in the US. Its nostalgic for me and I try to purchase things that I need and spend my money here; supporting a store that I shopped at ever since I was a kid. Its sad to see Kmarts closing but thanks NYC for keeping one open. The store is much bigger than in my hometown and I just enjoy meandering mourn the aisles. Raj in the pharmacy was VERY rude and VERY unhelpful. Apparently they don’t accept GoodRX. Okay, fine. He told me to call them so I did. They needed to call him to see if they could remedy the situation and he didn’t answer. Instead he packed up early and left even though I was standing right there. He got combative about the GoodRX rather quickly. I’m not the type to back down and take that lightly. I immediately went to the store manager and was told that there was nothing he could do except pass the info along to the pharmacy director. Well, Raj ended up trying to leave by passing us while we were talking and was again being aggressive and continued to escalate the situation. I tried to get him to leave because I was taking it up with the manager at that point and he decided to stay and continue to be aggressive and escalate the situation further. So now between Raj deciding to go home early and their TERRIBLE hours, I’m missing a full month of birth control because Raj decided he wanted to leave and I can’t even transfer the prescription in time. Honestly Raj has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. He shouldn’t be in a customer facing position. If you need a prescription from KMart, don’t. Unless you want to fight with Raj I guess.

Kmart is a cool place to shop. There have decent price. If you are. A plus size the price might. Be much different. From the regular items.

I have been in this place several times now. Its a great place to find reasonably priced stuff in the middle of unnecessarily expensive Manhattan. This is a rare opportunity for someone like me, a single mom with a low income, to get to live. On top of that, the staff are very polite and friendly. That makes every shopping a very pleasant experience which is very unique in Manhattan.

A sad shell of its former self. Depressing as eff. Not even Rainman has to shop here anymore. Such a poor selection. If the mens department has belts, they were nowhere to be found. This chain is clearly in a death spiral.

Its kind of small for a Kmart. I went there looking for tennis balls. They didnt have them. However, this is one of the few places to just pick-up simple items in the area at a reasonable price.

Its small and has very few products - many overpriced, for a Kmart. This location seems to be on its last leg. Perhaps all thats keeping it in existence is its corporation status. What else can I say? The staff isnt bad.

Great store for local discounts🤑. My local delivery guy was somehow robbed by a gang of kids in bicycle, and hence my online orders was stolen. It was easier for me to just go here, get the same stuff, same discount and I bought some extra Craftsman and Diehard stuff I love and need.

I was in and out; I was there for underwear since I was in dire need of a few new pairs. The cashier was friendly and she kindly greeted me once it was my turn to check out.

Basically just like most other Kmarts. They have a nice big selection of many items throughout the store. I didnt need help so I dont know how the service but all and all this store seemed like a nice quiet place to shop.

This Kmart has a lot of nerve not picking up the pnone. I called 6 times just to find out what train to take tto get to the store. NO one picked up. Shame on this store.

I love how this branch takes COVID 19 safety measures VERY seriously. However, I wish they would have more shoes and sneakers in my size. I am afraid I NEED shoes/sneakers in wide. Its great for thoes in medium-sized or small-sized shoes.

Great prices on the few shirts I bought, and a helpful sales assistant. Unfortunately they were pretty much out of jeans, which was the main reason I went.

KMart was very disappointing. It no longer looks inviting. It doesnt have that sparkle anymore. The merchandise, the little they have doesnt look of good quality. It looks sad.

This Kmart is disappointing! Its very sad inside the store. Once they downsized it was all downhill. They seem to have a little of everything. The quality is not the best but the prices are affordable.

Love this MEGA Kmart. Found in the heart of NoHo youd never expect to find this place to be this big.

Their inventory now is totally off. Halloween, St Patricks, Easter eggs, swim suits, winter jackets. Good size toy section and baby/toddler clothes.

KMART IN THE EAST VILLAGE! CANT BEAT THAT WITH A STICK! Its like a piece of middle America in downtown Manhattan. Always fun to walk around because they have every imaginable item at tempting prices. Its the perfect place to find what you need.....or dont need but buy it anyway.

Nice to have a discount store in NYC. Also has elevator to subway (Downtown 6 Train). Recently remodeled the whole 3 story store. Their rewards program is AWESOME.

Please keep reading.I went in to buy some clothes because I was going out tonight, I like to try on the clothes in the fitting room before I buy them, and Im always looking for something on sale, a bit time consuming, but I eventually found what Im looking for.After a little while in the store I got the urge to use the restroom, to my surprise I was being denied to use the restroom. They told me I needed to make a purchase first and have a receipt to enter the restroom.I told them I was trying clothes on, I didnt know what I was going to buy yet, but Ive been here for a while and I needed to use the restroom so I can finished shopping, But they refuse to let me use it because I wasnt finished shopping yet.I had to leave the store to find a restroom somewhere else, so that I could come back to Kmart and finish shopping. I was so angry I decided not to go back to Kmart.Anyone reading this, please spread the news, this Kmart should be avoided for any kind of big purchases that require time.

Im going to see if Target Stores can make an offer to Sears to buy out the space. The space and location are attractive for a buyout.

This place is in a great location and the prices are very reasonable for where it is.For those who are more style minded, there are a few hidden gems within the racks if you search for it. The clothes are surprisingly nice quality but without the price tag of something from Urban Outfitters.

Its very convenient and inexpensive and the six (6) train lets you off right inside the store on Astor Street. Spectacular! 👀🤫

I went shopping today and unfortunately I have found out 34th street Kmart store is closing down and the last day is April 13 2020. There is a huge discount on prices ranging from 50 to 70 percent of on every thing in the store try to to and shop there is still a lot of goods in the store. Youll save a lot i did and Im going again

This was my absolute favorite place to pee when I lived in the East Village! I was always careful not to touch anything in the bathroom. I also like the secret little entrance underground. I used to stare at the beavers on the walls in the Subway and reminisce about growing up in Georgia.

I bought a bike and everything I needed for it. The staff was very helpfull Very big store!

Wasnt to happy with the prices non name brands apparel not on sale and prices to hing on all items

Used to be a great place but now very disappointing in terms of inventory and service. They wouldnt even allow me to enter even though I was 20 minutes before closing time before one person decided I should be allowed in

Didnt buy anything this visit since I was looking for a specific shoe. Sale items were very good though. Of course the store has been shrinking over the years. Surprised Sears didnt shut this location down. With all the other stores closed, its no longer convenient for me to shop with Sears/Kmart. All of my favorite locations have closed down.

Clean. There was a sale . I found what I came in for and more which usually happens but it was ok. The hour I went was close to closing, so I didnt see everything which is good, I got what I wanted. Next Ill go earlier. Not a lot of people and the line was ok.
