Very Helpful and supportive when buying the D-Air jackets without being able to try them on, free shipping as well. Free return was reassuring, however Kyle with our measurements got both our jackets sizes correct first time, thanks, Jackets are stylish and comfortable, highly recommend both the store and the product.

This store is awesome. I couldnt find any store that has high end helmets, this is the only store that carries them in NYC.I was greeted by Fabio and asked him about modular helmets. Fabio showed me several helmets ranging from low to mid to high end. I chose the AGV SportModular matted black color it is a gorgeous helmet. Fabio educated me about all aspects of the helmet and I felt confident in my purchase. This store has much more than helmets, as they carry protective gear and fashionable wear. The money is worth the quality.Setting up the Bluetooth seemed challenging and they set your blue tooth up free of charge.Customer Service: 10/10Products: 10/10Location: 10/10

Love, not like, love, the experience of the Dainese store in Soho. Simply put, a spectacular experience in every way. Im in the Boston area (no Dainese stores up here, just limited inventory at a few motorcycle shops) so after limited success trying to get questions answered and trying to get the right fit trying on suits locally, I decided the best way to get the right suit and the right fit would be to just go to the Dainese store in Soho. So glad I did. Prior to taking the Acela from Boston to NYC, I had several phone calls with the NY Dainese store manager Fabio discussing many options to consider in selecting the right leather suit for me. He never made me feel that I was bothering him with questions I am sure he has heard a million times, and was always engaged and offering ideas/insight into things to consider in selecting the best suit for me. When I arrived at the store they had multiple suits in multiple sizes already waiting for me in a dressing room. It was great having someone like Fabio personally checking the fit, and sorting out options on body armor, under layers, rain gear, etc. Proper Covid procedures were in place the entire time. I was in the store for about 2.5 hours, and it was such a pleasant experience in every way. Fabio and his staff are just awesome and super helpful. So after some spicy pizza at Bens (good pizza just around the corner) I came home with the best damn leather suit (Fighter jacket, Pony pants). It feels soooooooooo good! I highly recommend the Dainese store, and Fabio especially, to anyone looking for awesome motorcycle gear and a fantastic experience!

Dainese isn’t cheap as it’s the pinnacle of Italian moto excellence but, the excellent customer service made me forget about price and made me feel like family. Great place, Fabio was fantastic. I thought I knew my size so I bought a jacket with out really trying it on. Turns out it was one size too big. Would highly recommend going to them for your motorcycle gear.

Big fan of the brand itself and regular staff here. Prior to this I had great experiences, especially when they first opened. Unfortunately I had a poor experience with the manager (not sure if he is the manager but he appeared to be one). I purchased a jacket in their 72 collection after trying it on in store and brought it home. I held onto it and kept the tags and jacket stored safely in its dust bag since I had another jacket on order (Dainese Fighter Jacket) and wanted to compare the two before making a final decision. I decided against the 72 jacket due to its lower protection. When I went to return the jacket the staff seemed content to process the return but the manager at the time personally grabbed the jacket and started trying to nitpick the smallest details, then accused me of wearing it to ride.  Not really possible given Im admittedly a weekend rider and the weather in NYC has been poor for riding plus all the tags were still on it. To me and my girlfriend it felt like he had something personal against us. A feeling we actually mentioned the first time we went in. Not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a premium brand. We did not argue as we felt it was below us and clearly he had it out for us based on his tone. Its a shame because I love the brand and this has turned me off to them. Going forward I would recommend most stick with RevZilla.

TLDR, you must come here for all your riding gear needs! Great products, great staff. Its also a just a nice place to stop by.Regardless of riding style, Dainese always has the best gear. Functional, high quality, guaranteed the best your your dollar. Ive been here many times since I started riding and this location is really great. After a number of inconveniences buying online, I decided to solely physically go to this location if I needed anything. For riding gear, its always better to go to the physical store if you can. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and everybody rides and is an enthusiast. You can always try things on, and they can even measure you up for a tailor made suit if you hit the track. Even if they dont have what you need in stock, they can have it ordered to the store - they recently requested the 4-Stroke gloves to be shipped here for me from another location.Another plus, idk about the other locations, but here you can see one of the old suits del Dottore here, which is pretty cool. ;)

One word. DanielDaniel single handedly made my Dainese experience an exceptional one. I was so excited to see a Dainese store in NYC. Upon opening the door, I saw that the team was nearly closing for the evening. When I apologized for walking in at closing hours, Daniel stopped me and basically said “We’re open for our customers. What can I assist you with?”I was floored! He took the time to find me a shirt I wanted, show me the helmet selection and offer to show me the latest in Dainese gloves and jackets. He then helped me complete my purchase, gave my daughter a very cool Dainese sticker (which she loved) and welcomed us to return for any of my gear and apparel needs. He opened to door for my family and we left feeling like royalty.People like Daniel will keep me returning to the Dainese brand and spreading to word to others.Excellent work Daniel! While on a trip to Manhattan, I found myself wandering around SoHo and the Dainese store caught my eye. Upon entering, I was greeted by Daniel, who was very friendly and helpful. He asked me what kind of bike I had, what my riding style was, and what kind of riding gear I was wearing. As Daniel walked me through the store I started to get the picture that as far as riding gear was concerned, my current set-up, Levis, cheap S&S jacket, and hardware store leather gloves, werent doing me any favors. Daniel got me fitted into a great looking pair of real riding jeans and some excellent waterproof gloves. Since the store didnt have the jacket I really liked in my size, he got me all set up to order one. Overall what made Dainese NY such a great experience was Daniels knowledge of the brand, passion for the sport, and dedication to excellent customer service.

I had a very unfortunate interaction with the manager of Dainese NYC which will result me in not shopping there again. This is especially unfortunate since I really enjoyed meeting Daniel, the salesmen that helped me with my original sale. Ive been riding for 6 years and only ever worn Dainese. Ive visited their stores in Italy and love their brand so it pains me to write this review.I came in and picked out a nice pair of their tan boots which are fantastic and a new pair of winter gloves. On the ride home, the boots were perfect, but I noticed the grip with the gloves wasnt optimal compared to my other pair of Dainese gloves that I had.I returned to the store three days later to return only the gloves. The manager ended up confronting me and informed me that he couldnt process the return since there was a tear/mark on the right glove. Since I had worn them only one time (from the original ride home from the store), I was surprised as I didnt notice this blemish on the glove. He was very confrontational and didnt provide any path forward to resolving the matter. I tried to explain to him that I myself hadnt noticed this and it could very well have been on the gloves when I bought them. Of course, it also could have been from the one ride home but I couldnt be sure. This wasnt sufficient to the manager, so the transaction wouldnt be proceeding. At that point, my entire experience was ruined so I just left the gloves at the store without receiving a refund. The takeaway here is Dainese NYC is willing to throw away a relationship with a longtime customer and lover of the brand over a $99 pair of gloves. I would have been happy to pay some sort of restocking fee but no path forward was provided. I was going to return to get a new jacket but unfortunately I will be going to CycleGear where they have a better policy around customer service and returns/exchanges.I hope that Dainese can amend their policy so their customer service can match the quality of their products.

Some of the items I purchased had actually gone on sale the very next day and when I called the store the next day to see if they’d be willing to honor the sale prices, they gladly did. I spoke to Hector on the phone and no questions asked. Hector gave me the price difference in store credit which I used on back and chest protectors. Hector expedited shipping and two days later, it was at my doorstep. Thank you, Dainese NYC!

Amazing store and amazing staff. This place really gets it right. Dainese is an amazing brand, but the reality is that the fitting of their gear runs the gamut. You really need to try on their riding gear on to be confident it fits correctly. Beyond the European sizing, which in it of itself is confusing, different lines from Dainese run large and small. Bernard the man that helped me was very knowledgeable and patient. He was running up and down the store stairs to let me get the right fit. I will definitely return.

I tried to return a Jacket because I purchased the wrong size. I spoke with the manager about exchanging for the next size up. After about an hour of them saying they were taking care of it, they told me they couldn’t because they couldn’t find my record of sale. Unbelievable that they kept me there for an hour. They also tried saying there were wear marks. I can’t even fit into the jacket. You would never have this problem with revzilla. Stay away from the store.

You know what an NYC motorcyclist needs...a track suit. Better yet, a motorcycle jacket with so many logos and patches, theyll want to kick their own arse. Those are your options.None of Daineses understated (less branded) jackets or pants are available here; if they are, Im sorry, I couldnt find them. Theres nothing available for the everyday rider who doesnt want to be a walking billboard. Like the Blackjack D-Dry jacket...a cool jacket, with subtle branding, and great for city riding...no where to be found. Really disappointing. I like a lot of their jackets and gloves, but thats not whats being pushed at this shop.Otherwise, cool looking place and well merchandized. And the guys working there were friendly enough. I wanted it to be a cool destination shop for all kinds of riders, but if youre not riding the track, dont bother.

Love the Brand. Love the store and its location.I was so happy to find this NY store where I could actually go in and see all Dainese has to offer. In the past I purchased all my gear from the Dainese website.Never had any issues ordering from the website directly.I had a good experience my first time purchasing at the 6ave store.I purchased Riding jeans, jacket, boots and a few other misc. things from Dainese on 6th ave.ProblemI went back almost a year later to buy a pair of Tempest D Dry gloves.I noticed my right hand pinky finger giving me some pain.Later that day I took a good look at the gloves to see whats going on.The pinky on glove clearly looked pre curved with a slight twist to the right. The fabric inside the glove at pinky was bunched up at the tip.It felt very uncomfortable when tapping pinky finger on a flat surface. My finger tip felt numb.It was clearly defective. You could see it just by holding it in front of you.It looked like a claw compared to the rest of the fingers.I called up the sales man that sold it to me. I explained the situation. All I want is a replacement glove. Not both gloves. The glove is still new and you could clearly see there is a problem with it.Salesman tells me what so many others would say.Give it time to break in.Again (Pain) You could clearly see the claw like finger. Its defective.MAYBE IRREGULAR.Im in (PAIN) My commute is 1 hour 1/2 one way.(Pain)I went back in person. It took me 1hr to get there from midtown during rush hour.On motorcycle.I walk in and it was close to closing. There is 2 guys. Doing what appears like the end of the day paperwork. Both nice guys and was treated respectfully.I was told the store does not deal with warranties.Issues go straight to the manufacturer. They took a photo of the glove and said someone will reach out to me by email. At that point i left disappointed and expected to never hear from them. The gloves was about $120.00.I lost that same amount heading over to the store in rush hour traffic. This happen in December 2018 and I just dont have the time to pursue this. But I want to give people a heads up.If you buy from the store once you leave this could happen to you.Make sure you check your items before you leave the location. As for a crooked finger this could get missed by anybody.Customer service problem:I said the product caused me (Pain) in my finger. Its obviously a distraction to me also when riding.*(PAIN) They did nothing for me.I love this brand but I was mentally disappointed with their store policy. Now I see they have warranty support on their website under what we offer LOLIt also has returns within 30 days on the site.I never asked for my money back and they really didnt offer me any solution. They couldnt switch one glove? Really? Companies like this all they care about is sales.Im just one disappointed customer out of thousands.Overall, I have no issues with the salesmen.Even if they seemed trained to blow off customers with new purchase gear issues. Will be posting pictures of gloves when I have time.6 ave StoreSomeone will get back to you by email. Thanks a lot Dainese 6ave.Your store policy Sucks!
