I was lucky enough to get a tattoo from Mal yesterday. We’d had a zoom consultation, and from that moment I knew it was going to be a great experience. Mal was knowledgeable, funny, professional, and kind. She got really excited about my idea, and I could feel the great energy coming off her even through the computer. When I arrived to get the tattoo, she showed me the drawing, and all I could say was “B***h, how dare you, that’s amazing!” She helped me size it appropriately, and then zipped through the actual tattooing process. We had a great conversation the whole time, and she’s an absolute delight. Would and already have recommended her to everyone I know! Also the shop is super cute, very welcoming, extremely clean, and the folks who work there have a great connection, so the vibes there are excellent!

Just got this tattoo done an hour ago and HAD to come write an amazing review! Everyone in the studio was so sweet and friendly, especially Mal who did an amazing job with my tattoo. This was my first big tattoo and Mal was great at helping calm my nerves and keeping the atmosphere good! I highly recommend this place!

I got this tattoo by Mal and she was amazing! This is actually a cover up (you can’t tell) but I have been wanting to cover up my old tattoo for years and finally had it done and I couldn’t be happier! Mal was so kind and patient, and did an amazing job. Everyone at the studio was super friendly, I definitely recommend going here :)

I love this studio! Everyone is very friendly and professional. The artist that I used, Volia, is so sweet, patient, and creative. She worked with me to create beautiful, unique pieces based on my vision. They have healed beautifully as well. I’ll be using her forever, and can’t wait to go back.

White Rabbit Tattoo Studio made booking and scheduling an appointment easy. Casey, the receptionist, even matched me with an artist - Vanessa - based on the reference images I provided online. Casey was really great about everything. When I arrived for my appointment, everyone was really friendly and cared about making their clients feel comfortable. There was a bit of a wait but it was refreshing to see the artists took their work seriously to produce the highest quality works. I got to see many of the finished pieces and they were all incredible. It was clear they all knew what they were doing and everyone was happy with the finished product. My artist Vanessa took her time with me and truly brought my vision to life. I highly recommend her for any fine line work (check out her instagram and you will see what I mean). I will be definitely going back to her for future fine like works.

All in all its a good shop. They specialize in vegan ink tattoos which might be important to some and its one of the only couple of shops in nyc that claim to use all vegan inks. The place has cool vibes and the artists will do a good job with most medium scale illustrative work. Clean quality of work.

I just received a gorgeous piece from the oh so talented (and funny) Mary here. It was my first tattoo and on my sternum no less, however the experience was more than I could have ever imagined. Mary knew what she was doing and was really supportive during the tattoo. Even the receptionist was very helpful and super sweet when I confronted her about my car parking troubles. All in all I would recommend not only Mary but this studio as well. It will be well worth the trip, guaranteed.

Mez Love is to tattooing what Jesus is to Christians. Her work and artistry are extremely impressive to say the least. In addition, her interpersonal skills and professionalism are unbeatable. The environment of her shop, along with her team of fellow artists, is very positive. I would without hesitation recommend this shop.

Filling out the online form and email was probably the best experience I had. Staff is decent but practices are shady. I was asked after my consult to pay $300 in cash and Card was not a given option. I was not informed of this in our email thread nor is it noted on the website. Consult went okay but the tattoo itself came out to be much bigger than expected resulting in more $$$. Total Jip.

Called and asked for appointment, they were extremely rude over the phone and claimed they had not received my online submission despite them emailing me previously (TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT). Didnt respond to another friends email and when we went in to our consultation Veronica had no idea what tattoo I was interested in even though they ask you to submit a form about the tattoo prior to the consultation. They wanted to charge me 160 for a maybe 2 in black outline tattoo and only accepted cash. Even worse, they wanted me to pay upfront during my consultation (without seeing the new design) and didnt let me know this before going to our consultation. Overall, they were super rude for no reason! Also dont come here if you want privacy lol !

Wanted to surprise my brother, and get an identical tattoo that he got recently. I showed the Artist a pic of the tattoo, and he said that he could do it easily. Unfortunately it was far from reality, and the tattoo came out totally different and not as nice. I called them a few days later to see if that can be corrected. I talked to Casey on the phone, but she was helpless, and really rude. Im shocked that the owner of the place let a person like her represent the business. Please do your self a favor, and stay away from this place, there are so many other great tattoo places. Its NYC!

Tried to work with their schedule but the staff was very rude and unprofessional. This was gonna be my first tattoo and I only wanted a small one at that. The person I was communicating with was nice as first, but proved quickly to be impatient and sharp. Really love the artists here but dont trust that the studio will accommodate or help me.

Guest artist, Rodrigo Tas, was amazing. This was my first tattoo and he was great about explaining the process and encouraging me to ask questions. He designed the piece while I waited and photoshopped me to show how it would look when finished. This collaborative approach resulted in an amazing piece and his warm demeanor made me feel like a friend.

Attn. owners: I am a tattoo artist who visited White Rabbit Tattoo Studio seeking potential employment today 2/11/2019 at around 2 pm. My encounter with the desk person Casey was brief and rather unpleasant to say the least. Before I proceed with the description of the events that have transpired at your shop today let me establish that I am an experienced tattoo artist with a following and current clientele. Also I am a foreign national and do have an accent. As I stated above I walked into the shop today around 2 pm and was encountered by the receptionist whose name is Casey as I learned later from your Instagram. She asked me about the nature of my visit; and this is how our dialogue went from that point on after I said that I would like to speak with the owner or perhaps schedule and appointment with them: Casey: The owner is not here today. An appointment in relation to what? Me: (I repeat I have an accent) In relation to a job interview. Casey looked at me condescendingly and repeated with a smirk: In relation to what? I hesitated for a split second: Interview in relation to a potential tattoo artist vacancy. Casey: Do you have a portfolio? Me: Yes, it is on my Instagram. I can give you my username so you can take a look, or I can pull it up on my I-pad if you do have WiFi. Casey abruptly interrupted: Well, I do not think we have a job for you anyways, we are fully packed. And I already do not like the way you are presenting yourself. You can try applying through email. Me: Do the owners get emails directly? Casey: Well, I read them first and then pass them on to the owners. She then handed me a business card. I took the card, said goodbye and left. So, since she has control over the shops emails, this was the only way I could get the owners attention. I do not know Caseys relation to the owners, but it is the fact that she is not well suited for customer service is obvious. I am not going to bash the shop, because your artists do not deserve that (you actually have some pretty good artists there). But I want you to know that manifestation of xenophobic, discriminating or sheer rude attitude from any of your staff does not help you business at all. Nobody deserves to be treated like that, regardless whether it is a paying customer, a job applicant or a person who delivers your food, or otherwise.Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Mare and June (June is no longer there) are really great. Ive gotten four tattoos here. One was a walk in and I forgot the name of the guy who did it (I think he was a touring artist who wasnt a regular), but they accommodated me quickly. Mare did two of my ankle tattoos and June did a really fantastic job with a waratah flower water color. Its average price for tattoos in New York. June was more pricey, because she is a big draw and totally worth it. I think she comes back to the shop every once and a while, so Id really recommend seeing here or Mare.Mare did the leo and libra one. The quote fear not for the future, weep not for the past was what I got as a walk in.The require a $200 deposit btw.
