My stylist, Sheila at this location, is very good and listens to what a customer wants...which I greatly appreciate. But here on Florida it seems that individual business can now opted to go maskless. Some customers still wore theirs but employees did not. My stylist offered to wear her mask if I wished.

We are regular customer and last time I had a nice hair cut this time I said I wanted a long shg hair cut and wanted to keep some of my length in the back and she cute all of my back off and cute it to Short and she said I have these cow licks ion top of my head and she just kept cuttingi and cutting and I didnt know how short it was until she showed me the back

Facility was clean and hairdresser was very nice and personable. Brought in pics for what I wanted my hair to look like. Unfortunately what I got was not even close. Is it cute? Yes. Is it what I wanted? No. Is it just hair and will it grow back? Absolutely. Just really disappointed

I came the day before Thanksgiving for a hair cut. I didnt wait long which was nice but once I was seen it went down hill. Right off the bat my stylist didnt seem thrilled. I showed her the style I wanted and she didnt really say anything but informed her that I knew I had a lot of damage but wanted to keep my hair below my shoulders, well she took of my length and it was hardly at my shoulders. The cut I asked for had a lot of layers which I did not get but Im somewhat glad at this point as I can hardly pull my hair up into a ponytail which I need for my job. Then when we got to my bangs I explained that I wanted a straight across that framed my face and said very clearly that I wanted them long because I could tell where she was holding them would be to short, well once again way to short. She kept trying to fix it which made it worse and then told me she didnt give me exactly what she asked for because her friend had the same cut and it never worked for her. I just said it was fine and Id work with it, but overall very upset with my cut. I even got home and realized it was uneven to the point that even my boyfriend could tell. Would not recommend.

Sheila did a great job shampooing ( I find it very relaxing) and my cut is on point.

I have been trying different fantastic sams here lately. And im not happy with either one. The one at hudson ave and little rd and the one in wesley chapel. I came to this store and told them how i have been treated and the told me sir we will take care of you. Then why is my edge all messed up. Not even straight. The hair line is not even flush. And to make it all better. The lady kept shaking while doing my hair. I come in twice a month. But with this problem i might find someone else. Im sure noone cares about what people say about reviews and ohh theres more people to come to our business. I am a business owner and im not at all happy. And its not the 1st time.

Didnt feel very welcome, even though I called ahead of time. The woman that cut my hair was cordial but not very pleasant, I still left her a tip but my haircut was definitely not what I asked for. Not bad but just not what I asked for, definitely not fantastic.

Ive been here before for a quick cut and always found it inviting, clean and comfortable. Recently ( my second time actually) on a friends recommendation I asked for Tammy . She took the time to talk to me, listen to what I wanted and then create the most amazing color combinations. I walked away feeling and looking like a million bucks ( without the price tag). Definitely recommend ! Go Teal!

I just moved to New Port Richey yesterday and desperately needed a haircut after trying to grow it out which looked horrible! Megan was amazing! She naturally knew what I wanted with an immediate personality match between us. She did a beautiful job doing my hair exactly as I wanted. Got a haircut today and went to pay and the woman asked me if I was going to add a tip to my credit card and I said yes. She said good cause if you dont we can mess your hair up! I was mortified! When I got home I checked the job she did and it wasnt good. I asked for number 6 on the side and got number 4. The hair was different lengths on the upper sides and was not blended properly. I had to touch up the sides myself and fix the back because the block on the back wasnt even. Wont go back there!

Dont appreciate when I walk in to make an appt and wait 20 minutes to talk to someone, then multiple people walk in and get appts made ahead of me.

Absolutely adore this salon. My favorite stylist Nicole is amazing with the scissors and can fade me up like a champion. Highly recommend you take a visit here. It may pose as commercial, but its definitely ran by pro stylists.

See them for all your color needs. I like unicorn colors on my head and they deliver. Whatever you saw on the internet they can do to your liking. I drive over an hour to get my color cut And brows here. Fun atmosphere.

Leslie is fantastic! She is kind, patient and takes the time to listen to you and look at any photos you bring in for reference. This last visit, I was there to have a previous hair disaster (from a different salon) fixed. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. The salon was clean and bright. One of the best things about this salon is that there is no loud, distracting chitchat between the stylists. And you cant beat the prices! Leslie gave me a wonderful, relaxing shampoo and a great haircut! Im going back for highlights. If youre looking for a new stylist, give Leslie a try.

Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place. I went in and asked them to layer my hair. I spent a *year* growing out my hair for a wedding, and I ended up with a single layer right smack in the middle of my head, and then the rest of the length a good five inches under that single layer.I had to go to a different salon and get all of my long hair cut up to just under my chin because of Fantastic Sams hack job. A years worth of effort was absolutely for nothing.What hair stylist doesnt know how to layer hair? How long has that been a style---the 70s? My first warning shouldve been that the girl (Morgan) was done in five minutes. It turned out uneven, and it looked like I had a mullet. I sincerely wish I had gone elsewhere. They took what should have been a simple haircut and completely ruined my hair. I will never go back again.My fiance also got a haircut there, and they screwed that up, too---he ended up with random long pieces of hair sticking up out of a basic trim. You could see them all over his head. Two different stylists did our hair. The sad part is, I remember going to fantastic sams when I was younger and meeting stylists who really knew their stuff---what the hell happened? It says theyre under new management, but what they really need are new stylists.

I had a great experience at this location! I have been to other Fantastic Sam’s that where a little scary, but this one was beautiful! Very fresh and clean. My stylist, Sarahca, did an amazing job! I got highlights and a cut. I asked for more volume and she new exactly what to do. When I went back to work with my new do, I received so many compliments. If you go here definitely ask for Sarahca!

My husband went to the fantastic Sams at southgate mall today (2/1/19) which was anything but fantastic...he didnt have an appointment, just a walk in, he waited at least 10 min before anyone even acknowledged him..asked if he was there for a haircut..well umm yah..he said yes and thats all that was said or done..needless to say he walked out with no haircut..customer service was not present at this salon..will find someplace else for my family of 4 to get haircuts.

Leslie is a great hairstylist, happy that shes manager and knows her customers and their needs . All the other staff are great as well.

Set up an appt at 5:30, get there on time and then they tell me its gonna be another 20 mins. So I leave, do some shopping and come back and they still dont see me and make me wait another 20 mins! 45 minutes after my apt, I ask how much longer and she says 10 or 15 more mins. I tell her the situation and she says without even looking up at me we dont take appts, just call aheads. Im going as fast as I can. Worst customer service. I will tell people to avoid this place.

I dont recommend the npr location.. I made a apt. To get a perm came in at that time and then was turned away because they didnt have time to do it. After i had to get a sitter and got dropped off only to get turned away, what a disappointment i will not be back.

I had to be at my friends graduation later this day so I made a 4:00 appointment over the phone, they said they would be ready by then. I showed up at 3:57 and told them I had an appointment for 4:00, they told me to have a seat and that they would be right with me. I ended up waiting over half an hour and noticed them take 2 people before me, despite the fact that I had an appointment and they said over the phone they would be ready. They even have a sign right when you walk advertising making an appointment if youre in a rush. I ended up having to leave in order to make it to my friends graduation in time, which they did not seem happy about but I had no choice. I was very displeased with this place and will not be returning.

I orginally got my haircut here some months ago by another stylist. It was a total change from what Id had, she did an inverted bob..(short on back,LONG in front)(The first stylist) That woman did a fantastic job and I was very satisfied... Fast forward to yesterday !/25/2013. I needed basically a trim, reshape...I asked that she shorten the back a little more that before but TO KEEP THE LENGTH in front!!!! First of all, it was obvious she was new as she had to get another stylist to come help her(thats fine), but if u dnt kno how to do a particular style, SAY SO and pass it on!.. Thanx to the other stylist,the back was done properly, however, even though I stressed TWICE!!! that I did NOT want to lose length in front, she completely hacked off approx. 4-5 inches from there! It BARELY looks like an inverted bob at all. Looks nothing like it did or should have.. After she finished. I looked at the back and said I like the back but that I was very unhappy with the front, that it was NOT what I wanted! Should have offered me a FREE cut!!!!! But instead wanted to charge me EXTRA for an extreme cut! WHAT?! It was jus suppossed to be basically a trim/reshape... Do not go there!!! Stylist- Meghann..

My boyfriend got a horrible hair cut. Most notably the multiple wild hairs at the front of his hair line that were left uncut, twice as long as the remainder of his hair.
