Had exactly what I needed way closer than any other home/hardware store. Awesome local owner told me right where the item I was looking for would be and was very nice and helpful. Chatted a bit about how he can’t compete with the convenience of online shopping and big box stores, but don’t let this business go away!! Check em out!

Prices are surprisingly fair compared to Lowes down the road. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who is working. This is clearly an old school hw store and thats part of its charm. Eg great selection of hardware for broken shutters that you wont find at a box box store. I like to support our local businesses and the pluses and minuses that go with it.

May not be the most fancy place but it gets the job done. Or at least do-able. Great location if you are in the quarter area.

These guys are extremely helpful and somehow manage to keep the prices low. Its a pretty small place so they obviously dont have quite the inventory of the bigger stores but make up for that with knowledge and willingness to help lacking in lowes/home depot in this city. It is also very convenient and I can walk there so I avoid going elsewhere when possible.

We go here instead of Lowes if we can. Great paints and very knowledgeable about what we need locally. Easy to park right near the door

We live very close to here and love the idea of supporting the local hardware store...however, they have consistently been less then helpful. Most recently today when we needed to rent a ladder to fix our air conditioner (with two babies and a dog on a 90+ degree day) and were smugly told we could rent it and not return it....lowes is right down the street and has a stronger customer policy and lower prices. So much for local business and helping your neighbor out. We, sadly, will not continue to do business with them.

I walked 20 min to find it closed then i see an update they close at 2pm. could you change the hours on google maps please. i wasted my time.

This is an old local hardware store that someone used to take pride in, but no longer.

I love this place, its the only hardware store where everyone knows where everything is located at. I was in lowes earlier asked 3 or 4 people where something was the last person was handed what was holding until checkout. I have a seizure problem and usually have to wear sunglasses and a hat, the lighting in the store was so well I could take them off and feel comfortable. Everyone was wanting to help. THIS IS THE BEST HARDWARE STORE EVER. When I returned home I checked prices on the net, I saved about half the price of lowes and H.D.

We LOVE these guys & of course Pam too... OK so ask and you shall receive...they have it! Dont bother with the big box - Home Depot & Lowes - United Hardware has it. Aside from this today I asked for an obscure product. They suggested a bar of Fels Naptha Laundry Soap for tire marks on my canvas messenger bag. I thought Nah - Low and behold I worked effortlessly and it worked like magic. They turned me on to something new that I will continue to use - once again they know their $tuff!

Great, incredibly cluttered local hardware store. It is tiny, but manages to have nearly everything you need.
