Went to Restore looking for lights, I found the single light for a closet, was pleased with it. They also had some nice looking furniture, exterior doors and pedestal sinks for a small bathroom. We are adding a small bathroom suite, so the pedestal is a good size.

Brought three computer monitors from the computer section to the checkout and was told they were not for sale. They were on the shelf with all the other computer stuff next to the keyboards and a box of DVI cables. Really? Why do they have stuff out that isnt for sale?I also brought up four doorknobs which were labeled $0.50 each. The cashier tried to charge me $4 apiece, and brought it down to $1 apiece when I took her they were labeled $0.50 apiece.**Update** Got in contact with someone from the store, and I returned with my family a few days later. This time there were multiple employees on the floor who were very helpful and I was able to purchase the items in question without any issue and ended up spending even on other stuff.

Great place to shop for hard to find items, with good prices. They have a lot of building supplies, some good furniture and things to decorate your place. Its kind of a general store where you can get granite, furniture, flooring, lights. Ive gotten a nice gliding chair and ottoman; some tile and some doors all at good prices

I understand that its a charity, however, the prices are maybe 10 percent below retail and in some cases are actually higher. Its a shame that they could help the local home owners by having reasonably discounted prices on items that are donated. I would visit a couple of times a week like I use to but it just pisses me off to see the prices so I stopped going on a regular basis.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I went with a friend and never realized that there were so much good items below cost, in very good condition. From clothing to shoes, work uniforms, furniture, housewares and even jewelry. They also have a cars thats in good condition. I was amazed at how organized and clean this place was. I will be donating items there myself. If you havent done a walk through, just take sometime out and maybe you might see something that catches your eye below cost. Remember you can also donate clean nice things of your own. Its a blessing to give.

I could literally spend all day in the store just browsing and looking at the different stuff has been donated. Great deals on flooring, ceramic tile, rugs, and carpet.

Review №31

If you are looking for furniture in decent to pretty good condition and don’t have access to a computer to buy things secondhand on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace, this store is for you. The prices are often nearly what you would pay for the goods if they were new, so make sure you bring a big wad of cash or your credit card. I’ve been in this same store before, but out West, and the prices were much more reasonable for the quality of the items and the fact that they are secondhand. So, before you jump in and buy everything you see, you might consider price-checking to see if you can find a comparable item elsewhere for half as expensive...or maybe even brand new!

Let me start by saying if you want furniture, than this restore is for you. There is possibly the widest selection I’ve seen in a restore. I also want to state how helpful and friendly the staff is.However, if you are looking for plumbing, tools, electrical, etc there is absolutely NO selection whatsoever. Maybe this is because it is an urban restore and not rural like i am used to, but i find it pathetic you can’t even find a saw or hammer in a store providing supplies for trades. If you are looking for lighting, it is overpriced and poor quality. I saw a rusted outdoor light that would retail at home depot for $6 priced at $10. Every ceiling fan for sale had snapped blades and broken glass.Very disappointed with this restore in general.

Great place to find a variety of different furniture types and home decor odds and ends. I felt like it was a little overpriced for the quality of many of the items, so it isnt a place I would return to frequently. It is like a big warehouse with everything somewhat organized according to type. You really have to search to find treasures here, but it can be worth it if you are lucky!

The store has a lot of great options for your pockets. I asked the lady at the register if I can bring items to the store (interior doors) and swap them out for a discount. She looked at me with a blank stare and said, what. I repeated myself slowly and loudly to ensure she understood. She said, we dont do that here you need to pay what the price is. I went to a Habitat for Humanity store in California and I guess they work differently. She honestly didnt want to help me.

Its a great idea to recycle many of the household items that you know people usually throw away. However I found them to be kind of pricey. And the place is huge and there was hardly no one there to give you a assistance. Im handicapped and Ill use a cane and I had to go walk all the way to the front of the store to get someone to help me with a sink. I still like the idea of recycling things however I just wish that the place was just a little more organized.

Review №47

Love this place. Good place to look for this you never knew you always wanted. Also, when shopping there, be aware that the color of the price label can indicate whether the item has been discounted. I bought somether marked $35, and learned that because the price label was a ertain color, i would be paying under $10 (75% off). Many interesting furniture and building items on sale.

Jo
Review №48

I miss the days of being able to negotiate prices here and at their old location. But they finally have a pricing structure that works well I think. They set a price with a certain color and every couple weeks it rotates through a set discount until sold. But if you miss the discount it goes back up to full price and starts over again. So you have to go often if you want something.Sometimes though whoever sets the initial pricing has high expectations for something. Like 1000 bucks for things that are 1200 new including warranty and dont need any work forcing you to check back monthly to get it at the 75% discount.. aka price its actually worth. Then sometimes you come in to check on said item to find out they sold it to a friend for the price it was worth 2 weeks before it hit that discount... Cant win them all.

Waaay overpriced... basically everything was at retail price: wall art - $140, fake house plant - $125, broken furniture needing $100 in replacement parts just to make functional - $200!! Most items need work or have unrepairable issues. Just a reminder: everything at the store has been donated, i.e. FREE! Sure, operating costs, rent, employee pay(whoever isnt volunteering), but come on!! Newsflash: people who go to thrift stores are not looking to be charitable in the prices they pay for the freely donated items..they go there to get used items that they wouldnt be able to afford otherwise. Serve your customer base, get with the program..Or maybe change the name to vintage store..then the prices would be more appropriate.
