Lines to long. The employees arent very pleasant. Accept for their manager. Very happy helpful and clear. Love that. Oh they had shopping carts this time.

Always crazy long lines, but pretty solid selection for a dollar store (not a bunch of stuff that is actually priced for a dollar, but 99 cent stores seem to be a thing of the past...)If you want a discounted product and are willing to wait a bit to ring it up, the time it takes to purchase reminds me of the saying, “you get what you pay for”.

Has some of the best selections of food choices and relaxing staff at the register.

The store is well stocked and usually clean. Most of the staff is pleasant.

They never have enough cashier so dont be in a hurry

They where great showed up about 7 minutes before closing they had the door locked but was opening it before I even got to it thank you for looking out.

A good, inexpensive place for basics. Pretty good produce section. LOTS of junk foods and snacks if thats your thing.

This place is a Covid hazard. I went in and saw people not wearing maks and still getting service. On top of that the employees were talking with their masks pulled down. Im so disappointed that they arent taking this seriously even though they have signs that state that you must wear a mask to get service! Dont shop here if you are a person who takes Covid seriously.

Good to get simple groceries and household items. Expect long lines

They have really stepped it up! Produce and meat are not available in this store.This is my favorite discount store by far.

Pretty decent store.. Has its bad moments sometimes as far as the long waits. But other than that is pretty clean and has all the amenities you need from a grocery store. I wish they sold almond milk.

It was pretty clean. They could use some help filling the shelves. A lot of the things I went there for was not on the shelves

I came into town for a wedding. Rented a house and needed supplies .Regina Rankin was so helpful. She went beyond what she needed to do that I had to ask her full name just so I could recommend her for such a great gob. And to add there were other employees that were helpful also. Great store.

Well...it DOES offer fresh produce in a food desert area! And...the stocking of the shelves is ok. While serving their purpose, these stores MAKE u feel targeted & inferior, because the stuff they offer, even if brand name, LOOKS & FEELS inferior! Like hand me downs from the White folks, but u pay for them!

This little grocery store has some of the best prices in town and everything you need. Even though its located in one of the less a fluent parts of town the police station is only a block away so you can feel safe going there and its just a hop skip and a jump from the French Quarter. Just realize, customer service here is like the rest of New Orleans... not very good.

I wasnt greeted upon entering the store other than that the service was great

Dont like the dreary atmosphere... Only 1 checkout lane was open making it a long wait in line. Dont waste your time here. Just go to a plain Dollar General without the bs market facade.

They err not stocked and had only one line open with over 10 people waiting to be checked out

Store is satisfactory as far as items to buy better not too expensive and sits the lower-income families. But the store itself doesnt seem to be a very clean environment to be in.

I love that i can come here for all my last-minute shopping. They have a cold/frozen food section with lots to choose from. Get your candy fix here with all the most popular brands. Buy a quick gift. Shop for all of your household needs and even clothes and the best selection of toiletries. When checking out you receive exceptional customer service from lovely people who care about your shopping experience. All that said, they are so hood.. Loiterers, shoplifters and drug dealers love to hang out in the area and they are rarely shoved off by security. It is apparent that most of the employees live in the local area which can be good for those who also dwell in the 6th and 7th wards.. If not, you may have to be patient while there are long personal conversations going on in the checkout line. Other than that, they are all beautiful people that also make a point to help and edify their community. Definitely a New Orleans-flavored Dollar General.

Lots of stuff here. Much bigger than a regular Dollar General. The employees were nice and helpful. I found the phone charger that I needed with their help!

Many people complain about the lack of open registers but I say dont shop there then. The employees are usually really nice and accommodating AND overworked so I take all of that into consideration. Also, theyre well stocked so yea.

Seems like a great placed to get stabbed. They do have a cooler full of monster energy, so I stop here often to feed my addiction.

I thought this place was absolutely amazing! My husband and I agree from Tallahassee and have never seen a place like this lol it was great to have everything right there! Very convenient and made shopping go quickly and smoothly.

Had exactly what I was looking for and I was in and out.

Cool DG supermarket since its close to home ... small meat Dept. Actually they did have some ground turkey for chili I was making. No deli, of course. We shopped until they were closing, because I spent at least 15 minutes looking for chamomile tea that is something I have to have!! LoL...but no luck..All in all, good place to pick up a few groceries that you need.

I hadnt been in this particular store for over a year. Its a DG Market, unlike most DGs. Meaning they have produce and more food items. Disappointed a bit, much of the produce was a few days past ripe. Do recommend and will continue shopping there.

Helpful but overworked staff. Many items are actually a $1!!! Good alternative to the other chains for bargains.

I enjoy going there and the employees as well as the emloyers are very nice and helpful i have no complaints about any of them we have each other laughing and just enjoying life and this store is very convenient to my home in walking distance for me thank you for this store right here in the neighborhood i love it

Well stocked and good selection of discount groceries, housewares and other inexpensive items.

The store was dirty, shelves were not neat items on the floor, opened food on the shelves. The parking lot was a mess, the cars were dirty and broken, turned upside down some were out in the street. The door you enter in is next to produce and you could smell bad fruit and rotting vegetables. The cashier was friendly and knowledgable. The guard wouldnt even talk to us. BUT they had an awful lot of items crammed into a small store. They had items that I have never seen before. Handy little gizmos for around the house.

It’s rare to come to this store and you actually have a 5 star rating experience. For one there’s always some kind of fight that breaks out either between customers or employees. The manager - well they aren’t the friendliest. The staff is a hit and miss but overall I haven’t had issues with the cashiers....yet. I’ve always had pretty good luck finding something of which I am looking for!! :-)

If Im not mistaken this Dollar General Market has more than the other Dollar Generals I suppose because they sell food to pretty nice place to go

Very close to home. Employees are friendly. They remember you when you come in. Items are easy to find.. its a good place for last-minute things.

The Produce area is always real neat & clean also well organized & full, Daysha Neil Felix Dona & Sandra are all nice employees I never have a problem with them when I come but I also dislike that management is sometimes rude there’s never enough lines open it takes a manager years to come fix a problem at the register some things really need to change

They were stocking shelves. Staff tried hard not to inconvenience customers and shifted boxes to get items for them. Long lines moved quickly.

These employees treat you like they are disgusted when u come in the store. I want to feel appreciated when Im in a store.

The store is very clean. They always run out of basic things and there is always, always, always a long line. Cashiers are very slow. Ive worked at a dollar General before and it was very fast pace but never did I or any of the cashiers that worked under me have long lines. Would not EVER run a store like this.

This is a fairly Busy little store with a large selection of items. The employees are great and always very helpful!

Convenient location but some parts of that store can be kept better.

Its a Dollar General Market, not too many of those. By market they mean it has a lot more produce and groceries. Prices are very reasonable. They do run out of items quite a bit, so you have to visit them regularly.
