The girl helping us was really nice, although they didnt have what we were looking for.Then when she rang us up, she wouldnt take a five dollar bill because it was counterfeit. I got it from a bank... I doubt its fake. I gave her a different bill. I woulda been a bit miffd if I didnt have a different way to pay.Its important that you get these things right. Better safe than sorry only sorta applies. When you accuse a customer of bringing in counterfeit money, you are making a personal judgement on that person. They will take it personally. Youve got to be sure. If youre not, call a manager over.

Ive never been to this store. Very organized, reasonably priced, little bit of everything. I specifically looking for inexpensive curtains. Unfortunately, none would work for me. Sales personnel polite and respectful.

All the stores that I have been too that are this chain, I always experience a great staff. Keep up the good work thank you always.

They recently redid store layout and put in larger refrigerator and freezer sections. They dont always have lots of stock,but it seems like they are trying and I like thee selections and improvements.

Family Dollar is a great place to shop. Lots of houshold goods at cheaper prices. The New Hope location/ parking lot is a huge problem though. You can only park in front of Family Dollar. The lot to the right of the entrance is A TOW AWAY ZONE. North Suburban Towing is watching and waiting for you to park there. They are so hard up for business that they will tow your vehicle within 7 minutes. The notice/warning is at the entrance where you wont see it. Epic Fail.

Not very organized and a bit messy. The employees arent very friendly either but the prices are good.

I go here literally all the time. Even days in a row. But the past few times Ive been here I have seen mold in the fridges.

The cashier that was working on 4/23/19 at 2:23pm was rude and has a poor attitude. She wasnt at the register when I came back to purchase something else and there was another customer behind me. I hit the bell on the counter so someone could come to check us out. She made a comment in a nasty tone that wasnt necessary because I rang the bell. Isnt that what the bell is for?

The store sign says they open at 9am. Its now well past 9am and the door is still locked. I can see an employee inside and hes just staring back at me.

Family Dollar is a strange name for a store that has almost nothing for $1 everything is more expensive than a dollar its not necessarily such a great deal it does have what you might expect I was looking for reading glasses they had some but instead of a dollar ended up paying $12 so that cost them a couple of stars
