Columbus Auto Body Works has been a family owned and operated business for several decades. I had been a customer for many years and had always been very satisfied with the high quality of work I received. Therefore, whenever I needed some work done on my car, after moving back to New Haven a few years ago, I never considered any other auto body shop, because Columbus Auto Body Works had earned my respect and my trust. The staff takes pride in their work, and they are friendly, courteous, and very professional in every aspect of their service delivery and system of operation. I have nothing except very good things to say about Jennifer and her Mom, and all of the staff at Columbus Auto Body Works.

Columbus Auto Body has helped with two care over the past 12 years! They are knowledgeable, professional and I always feel very fairly priced. They have helped me to get rental vehicles, worked with my insurance and got my vehicle back to me in a timely fashion. Their Tow Division also helped me during a terrible ice storm a few years back. I continue to work with Columbus Auto when the need arrives and I highly recommend them!

They repaired my car after an accident. The service was amazing. My car looks and drives beautifully. The service was top notch. They even gave me a cute mug when I picked up the car. Only inconvenience for me was their business hours are exactly the same as my work hours, with my job being inflexible and almost 25 mins away in moderate traffic.

Went to Columbus twice. Keith was always helpful. Prices were fair. Car work takes a little longer than I would like but they are generally busy. They also were nice enough to give a ride from the tow guy. I would go back here if I had to get other body work to me or my husbands car.

Honestly the worst the shop I have ever associated myself with. They told me my car would be done in 2 weeks, it’s been almost a month now and they’re finding new things wrong with it. They lied straight to our faces and I am overall very displeased with the communication skills and the way I was treated here. Update: now the car has to be brought to another shop because they have lost my trust and respect. Don’t bring your car to Columbus auto body unless you want a hassle...BEWARE. The staff here do not respect cars period.

Columbus Auto Body made the experience of dealing with insurance adjusters and claims simple and quick. Everyone was helpful, kind, and the work on my car was completed on time. They coordinated a rental car for me, communicated clearly, and dealt with the out-of-state insurance company so my involvement was minimal. Our car was returned to us washed, vacuumed, and cleaned including the tires and wheels. I wouldnt go anywhere else.Update: What really makes me rave about their incredible service is Keith going out of his way to fight a rental car company on my behalf. They picked up the car three days late and want to charge for me some damage that occurred after I returned the vehicle. Keith looked over the car when I returned it and found no damage so he was more than willing to call the insurance company himself and take my side. Throughout the experience, Columbus Auto Body has shown they take customer service seriously and I wont be going anywhere else.

I was parked on Hamilton St. the day of street sweeping, mind you the signs they posted were on 8x10 inch pieces of paper you have to use a magnifying glass to read.. and forget it if you park at night... the guy had my car in the air I said put it down Im right here and I have my keys. He said well I have to charge you half... turns out he lied and charged me full price. I called the company and they treated me like I did something wrong to them.. go figure.. and not for nothing, I am not a customer as they called me, I didnt want your services we didnt agree on a price.Update: They called me and refunded me half of the bill.

Vinny is so helpful. He was able to get me a great quote for some work done on my car. Very friendly staff and was able to get everything I needed done in a timely manner.

Had a pretty devistating car accident while on vacation passing through New Haven. The driver of the tow truck was the ONLY person at the scene that was kind to us. The people at the shop were considerate and helpful. The front desk receptionist is wonderful!!

I have taken a few vehicles to Columbus over the past few years and each time my experience has been the same. They are friendly, quick, and do great work. Ive had my car returned clean on the inside and out and have never had a problem. I would highly recommend Columbus.

Unfortunately Ive been to Columbus Auto body several times with different vehicles and family members. After an accident its really nice to have someone to turn to who is trust worthy and friendly. Theyre great at everything from major accidents to small bumper scrapes and car detailing. They also handle the insurance company when needed which is really great.The staff at Columbus is friendly and always accommodating. Theyre family owned and operated and that is evident when you go there. After every visit they give you a nice coffee mug to remember your experience as well as a little bottle of touch up paint for your car which can really come in handy! If you find yourself in an accident, I recommend Columbus.

Had a dent and they could have charged me quite a bit for it, instead Keith gave it a great, quick, fix on the spot and even refused a tip! That’s the kind of business you can trust, highly recommended
