They have a great beer selection, but wine and alcohol are missing a couple of brands that I like.

Liquor barrel has a fantastic craft beer selection for being such a small neighborhood liquor store. However, the prices on their craft beer singles are extremely overpriced. Many craft beer singles go for about 3 to 4 dollars each. But despite being severely overpriced, they are a great place to stop in a pinch when you need some craft beer. Additionally, they have a pretty large amount of cooler space dedicated to craft beer.

I was a faithful customer of the Fridley Municipal store on Hwy 65 for over 10 years. I stopped going there due an obnoxious employee named Dave. I have been giving my business to the Liquor Barrel store for over a year now. The young lady at the register is always nice and friendly. The prices are fair and its nice to be treated with courtesy.

Always a terrible beer selection unless youre looking for an American yellow lager. Even the building your own 6 pack isnt anything special here. Prices are through the roof on just about everything besides the cheap beer. Its just a convenience store for the locals and people leaving the grocery store.

Decent prices, decent selection for a small store. They send out postcards with coupons for locals. Sometimes they run out of small batch items.

Called ahead to verify a product was on hand, and was told yes. I drive from Fridley over to New Brighton to make my purchase and they dont seem to have what I was looking for. Even asked the girl at the counter to double check and her on hand was showing -2. Why couldnt the person I spoke to on the phone at least check a shelf first?

Always have what your looking for and the employees are always willing to help find what your looking for or order it.
