Amazing as always. I have eaten in and done take out. I tried their coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Always superb. On another occasion I visited Dose at McGavock I took my mom when my parents were visiting. She has an autoimmune condition that makes it impossible for her to eat wheat. They were amazing making sure she wouldnt receive anything that would compromise her health and make her suffer. I always experience the best when I visit Dose and the staff is so respectful and friendly. Thanks guys. Keep up being awesome. Food and drinks are good, but the people will always make all the difference in the world

It’s rare that you find a coffee shop that has both delicious coffee and food. They are poor-overs are great. Even their house coffee is good. I like the breve latte the best and the zucchini muffin is delightful.

It’s good sometimes. Their service is so hit or miss. The line setup in store is a mess. Other than that the food and coffee are good.

I roast my own coffee and understand the science of coffee extraction. This place knows how to make a great cup of coffee. We also had a wonderful lunch. The service was spot on and friendly.

Wow! Their egg and cheese biscuit sandwich might just be the best I’ve had. The biscuit was flaky and moist. The eggs are made to order and are super flavorful and perfectly done. I got the Barcelona from the coffee bar. Again, perfectly done. Love the salted whipped cream. Dose is great for getting some work done or meeting up with a couple friends for lunch. Highly recommended.

Rachel made this beautiful and delicious vanilla latte for me! It was soooooo yummy and hit the spot. Our staff makes regular visits to this coffee shop daily and we absolutely love them! The customer service is always great. They will help you find the perfect menu item if you need help. Definitely loving Dose!!

One of the best coffee shops, bakeries, & all-day cafes in Nashville. They have a rotating selection of coffee from great roasters, and pull a wonderful shot of espresso.Their bar is also well curated with some very interesting digestifs & aperitifs, and are the only place that sells Barrique beer outside of the newly opened taproom.The rosemary biscuit sandwich is outstanding, as is the poutine they do on the weekends. They also have low-key one of the best cheeseburgers in town.

I had gotten coffee from Dose and always enjoyed it, but my first meal there was an amazing experience. They have gluten free bread that you can substitute for any sandwich option. Their pourover coffee was very well done. And their potatoes were (like the menu states) very magical.Its an excellent atmosphere to hang out with friends or simply sit by yourself and study or read. I would definitely recommend Dose to anyone I know!

5 star when they open their dining room! So many other Coffee shops have been open during these times so looking forward to Dose fully opening.

Their breakfast is a hipsters take on southern breakfast cuisine. If youre looking for something a bit different, here it is. You know its a hipster place when they have matcha flavored lattes but no caramel flavoring lol. Overall not too bad...

Great spot to get coffee and good breakfast. Biscuits surprisedly great! I had the egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Plenty of spots by the bar to set up your laptop and work.

They were super helpful. They have a vegan burger (which is rare) and they served it at 8am for me. The cashier made sure everything was vegan (including the bun, which ended up not being vegan so I got it on a bagel) which he went above and beyond to do. 5 out of 5 stars!

Nice little shop in east Nashville. Nice interior with good atmosphere. My barista was knowledgeable and helpful. Got a pour over coffee here and it tasted great. I paired it with a coconut macaroon, which was also well made Prices were also decent for the quality of the products.

Great space for coffee and coworking. Plenty of WiFi and outlets to set up your workspace. Friendly staff, good coffee and GREAT rosemary biscuit. Will recommend!

Delicious! Their coffee is great, and so are their baked goods. I’ve tried their biscuits/jam and zucchini muffin, and both are so good!! They also feel very safe covid-wise, all staff are great about wearing masks (and are also very kind!).

This place is special and shows great personality that you pick up on from the parking lot.Inside you will see a place laid out in a comfortable way that doesnt make you feel crammed in. The music sets a great backdrop to a wonderful breakfast and coffee meal.The staff is professional and friendly and they are happy to explain how your food and drinks are made. Such a great start to our day. If you are in the area I highly recommend you stop by!

We recently stayed in East Nashville. Dose Café was within walking distance so, we decided to check it out! Plus, we needed our Java! Its a trendy little hip place with interesting breakfast, grab-n-go treats, and small plates. We started with iced coffee, the Cortado, and Chai Tea Latte (tasted like Christmas 😊). For a quick bite we had the Rosemary biscuit with egg and Spicy Remoulade (it came with ham but we asked for none); and the Quinoa bowl which had granny Smith apples & golden raisins. We later discovered that Dose was rated in the top 10 for trendiest coffee shops on Nashville! Check them out!

Local Honey & Cinnamon Moka - fantastic!!!

A little bit pricy but the coffee was good and the service was pretty fast. It didnt seem too crowded inside when I went (about 5 pm on a saturday). The atmosphere inside was pretty nice as well.

Dose is great. I have a biweekly meeting here and always have a great experience. Solid coffee and the avocado toast is delicious.

Biscuits are flaky and delicious, cold brew is rich and the Barcelona is 10/10

One the best espresso drinks I had in the US. The flat white was properly done and tasting notes were incredible, shows the pulled the perfect espresso.We had the biscuit sandwiches which also tasted excellent.

Stylish coffee shop with beer, wine and a menu that covers the whole day. No in-cafe seating, at the moment but theres a large outdoor area out back. Currently offering to go orders including alcohol. 5 stars... would get jacked up on cappuccinos there anytime.

My drink was decent, but I felt like I was being judged for not looking like everyone else that was inside, if that makes sense. I got a few looks like I didn’t belong; questioning looks (customers/employee alike). Maybe they knew each other? I think it was because of my paint stained hoodie and casual/plain work jeans (manual labor attire really). I don’t throw off that pretentious hipster vibe I guess lol. I felt like my service was quite impersonal as well, server didn’t have the bubbly manner with me, as they did with the customer before me, and it was awkward. I just felt uncomfortable in general after that. Memorable experience in a not so great way. Looks nice inside though.

Im in this area of East Nashville often due to my job. This is a great place for cup of coffee. The atmosphere is really relaxed, even if you feel like every guy in there is a carbon copy of the others... you know.. beard, skinny jeans, plaid shirt, glasses. But thats not Doses fault.Great coffee. Great place.

This place was just okay for me. No one there was very friendly and it felt very sterile -- wasnt a good or welcoming vibe at all. I got the salty chocolate chip cookie and the spicy egg sandwich. The cookie was delicious, above average for sure. The sandwich was tasty but not memorable at all. If I lived right by this place I might go from time to time but I wouldnt go out of my way to go here.

Bar and coffee shop? Yes please!! Cold brew in a bloody Mary!?!? That was awesome!!Its a hip place and the atmosphere was cool af... All staff were awesome except for one... Not sure if that person was having an off day or what, but working in the service industry myself, you have fake it sometimes...Other than that Debbie downer, it was awesome! Highly recommend

Steamy, creamy latte and cappucino--bold and really savory house roast. I enjoyed the better-than-average biscuit with cheese, egg, and ham. My kind hostess even threw in yummy preserves to help me polish off the biscuit! A good place to come to at the busy junction of Porter and Riverside.

Always go for the Barcelona drink. It’s an iced coffee with salted whip cream, so good! Their pastries are great and always fresh too! Don’t love their menu items as much as their pastries and coffee! Pretty solid place all around!

I love dose. The coffee and the baked goods are perfect, but having a bar and small plates really makes it a great place to hang out even if coffee isnt what youre in the mood for. Service is quick and friendly and the decor is very charming.

Dose is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop. I often find myself stopping by multiple times every week. Amazing staff, wonderful coffee, and delicious food. Try out their cold brew on tap, or for an added bonus grab a Barcelona (cold brew with homemade whipped cream on top. Yum!)

They had a great vibe and served you with a smile. They were really concerned with keeping the place clean and the coffee was amazing. It was really fast service and the stand to get straws and sugar from was conveniently located right next to where u get your coffee from. All in all its a great and very modernized coffee spot and i highly recommend it.

Good coffee and great biscuits in a cute spot. They definitely take pride in their beans and brews. The service setup was off-putting, however. This is the only coffee shop I’ve ever been to where I had to either wait to be seated (regardless of how busy the place is) or was actually told to just kind of “stand around over there maybe”.Quite bizarre, and if it wasn’t for the quality coffee and biscuits I’m not sure I’d be back.

I come here because the quality is so good, but today I order an egg and cheese biscuit and a customer who ordered like 15 minutes after me gets his before I do. That’s just wack y’all. Pretty upset.

Weve always frequented the West End location and finally were around the east Nashville location and decided to stop. The coffee quality is just as high as the West End one. The Barcelona iced coffee is something that was made in heaven and brought down for us to enjoy. Added bonus at this location they serve drinks and have a happy our! Beers on tap and food made to order.

This is our neighborhood coffee place and I couldnt love it more if I tried. The staff is pleasant, the coffee is exceptional, and the food is to die for. I recommend their egg and cheddar biscuit with ham - trust me, it is amazing. Also, the dining area is airy and a pleasure to relax in while sipping a hot drink on a dreary day.

The atmosphere of a coffee & bar shop is always interesting. Dose provides the industrial concrete floors with polished wood tables and chairs to give an urban feel. While using futuristic coffee machine looking things that perfectly pour a pour over.You could get lost in the mesmerizing rhythm of the pour. Drifting away to the chill background music and falling prey to the zone out world where all problems seem to fade away.Anywho it was a wonderful first visit and I look forward to returning again.

Dose is like...the best. Not only do they have the #1 iced coffee in all of Nash but now they carry the Impossible burger and Be-hive seitan, which you can use in place of any meat on any dish. Wow. I wish everyone else would catch up! I APPRECIATE YOU, DOSE! 💗

Good looking cafe with all of East Nashville tropes represented. Cold brew was average. They were out of home fries(it happens), so I didnt get a chance at those, but the egg biscuit my buddy ordered looked and smelled pretty great. Ill probably try this place again and update the review.

Had a wonderful business lunch experience here. The wait staff is attentive, but also give you plenty of space. I had the burger, and it was delicious! Do yourself a favor and add the bacon jam, and also home fries. ♥️♥️

Ive been meaning to come to this neighborhood Cafe for a while. I was very pleased. Plenty of parking, great vibe. Tables and a bartop available. Good food, I had a rosemary breakfast sandwich. Very professional and attentive staff. Nice styling.

Wow, great service and friendly faces! Perfect for a meeting with a friend, had a delicious hot chocolate and home fries. Even cashing out was easy because the server brings a tablet over and they use Square. I was looking over the menu, and their weekend breakfast specials sound to die for. 2 for 1 mimosas and breakfast poutine?! Yes, please! Very clean place, cant wait to go back!

I was charged $7 for a basic 12oz latte. They were out of matcha, which I don’t really hold against them. I know it happens but to turn around and charge that much for a latte was really disappointing. I asked for 2 sugars in the latte and they looked at me like I had lost my mind. On top of that it took close to 20 minutes to get the $7 latte which tasted mediocre at best. I expected it to taste amazing with it being that expensive. The vibe in there is so uptight and hipster orientated. Can’t believe East Nashville is turning in to this. Wish they had a Starbucks nearby!!

I go here every week, not sure what I would do without it. Great place with a wonderful staff and comfortable vibe. Come solo to read a book, or bring some friends and do brunch or have an evening cocktail. Itll be worth it.

Very good dining experience. The food and the service were excellent.

Ordered a flat white and iced mocha to go, pretty simple order and I was the only person in line. They SLOWLY made a flat white and hot mocha. When I told them it was wrong they just dumped the flat white into a paper cup and it ended up only being half full. They made the mocha again but used an espresso shot for a different drink so it didnt taste good. Bottom line, make sure that they get your order right or they will just try to fix it halfway.

Update: I used to stop in twice a week for good coffee and a good muffin or pastry but the pastries just arent good anymore so I go get a muffin from Mikes now when I get a craving. The coffee is still good at least.Stopped in for the first time today. The cappuccino was great as was the vanilla bean scone. Staff was extremely friendly.

Asked for an iced dirty chai with soy milk and ONE pump of sugar free vanilla. The barista kept asking if I was sure I wanted sugar when everything else was already sweet. As if I had to clarify that I needed extra anything. Her tone appeared more as contemptuous than informative causing me to not accept their service.

The staff are incredibly entertaining to watch. Theyre espresso Ninjas and they make good jokes. 🔥 Also, great coffee and food. 👌

Staff is friendly. Coffee in my opinion is a little over priced. The past few times I have been there it has been hard to get work done. This was probably my own fault, but this is not my favorite study space if you are wanting to be productive.

The staff here is amazing, friendly, and seem to really care about the patrons. The baked good looked appealing and not the normal muffins found everywhere else. Even during the very busy time I visited the wait was not long at all. Great place for gathering with friends and a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Love the staff here, they each enjoy making what they are there to make and do it well. The food is wonderful too! Making my way through the whole menu and havent come across something I didnt enjoy yet!

There is a reason its so hard to get a seat here during peak hours...once you get one you dont want to leave. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks and of course the people, all add up to an incredible experience.

We had biscuit, cheese, and seitan sandwich, and the scrambled eggs, seitan, and biscuit platter. Both were really good. The servers also did a great job of filling out coffee mug. Dose servers adult bevs as well

We went for a late lunch. Service was great, Food was very good and fresh, and price was quite reasonable. Beignets with jam for dessert with coffee, made when we ordered them. Fun. Highly recommended in E Nashville.

Dose is a great spot to get a cup of coffee with a friend or two. The coffee is great, and evening drinks are also very good. I often feel a little guilty when I go in to work alone, as the only tables with outlet access are four-seaters.

Really cool local coffee shop. They offer poar over coffee while is my favorite. They also have a great selection of local beers including Scatterbrain from Bearded Iris (at least they have it today!). The water bottles on the table are a great touch.

Weird service from staff, took a long time to even order and it wasn’t that busy. I ordered the veggie bagel. It was really bland and they were out of tomatoes (go to the store and buy some more?) ordered a Kombucha and was brought the wrong one. And no drip coffee after one (why? It’s drip coffee) overall a strange experience, won’t be rushing back.

Dose is so easy-going and easy to enjoy a hang out at. Their food is super delicious, Love their baked scones and Im always a huge fan of their chai. Beers at the bar, laptops welcome and a friendly, fun staff.

This is another cool little cafe that you just happen upon. I went in to get a couple of coffees to go and the place was packed so that tells me that the locals definitely dig this place. A little pricey but the food (I only saw and smelled it) and atmosphere were pretty good. You can gauge the quality of local place by how packed it is - this place was!
