Z Mac is super honest. My MacBooks screen doesnt turn on, it took them one day to figure it out by reset the mainboard or something like that. They couldve made up something and told me to replace the screen for couple of hundred dollars, but they didnt. They only charged a small repair fee. Honesty is rare in repairs service. You can trust them.

Z Mac is excellent, and they exemplify what great service is. Z and Sofia are top notch. My MacBook Pro stopped working during a recording session and would not restart. They replaced my hard drive, and my MacBook is working better and faster than ever. More impressive is that I had some files I had not yet backed up, and they were able to recover them from the damaged drive - get this: no extra charge. I am so impressed. I’ve taken my laptop to the Genius Bar several times over the last 2 years for an issue with my trackpad. They said it’d be over $1000 to fix so I might as well buy a new laptop. I just got my laptop back from Z Mac and they completely fixed the issue for a tenth of the price. Never going to the Apple Store again for a repair. The technicians at Z Mac are amazing!

This place is amazing. My MacBook screen completely died at a really Inopportune time. I went into the shop on a Monday at 4:00pm, they had a replacement in stock, and called me Tuesday at 5:30pm (the NEXT day!) to let me know it was done and ready to be picked up. When my MacBook Pro screen got cracked from a small fall, I was freaking out. I thought I would have to shell out $900-$1000 dollars for a new screen and was devastated. I started looking around and saw Z Mac and decided to call them.Not only did they pick up on the first ring, they were responsive, nice, and told me a price over the phone and stuck with that price.The price was affordable and the best one in Nashville. They fixed my screen in 2 hours and its better than ever. The computer works perfectly and the screen looks great. I took my MacBook Pro in and they worked diligently on it. Sofia was in-contact with me every step of the way and I really appreciated her for it. Unfortunately, the water damage was irreversible. Sofia communicated that to me and I completely forgot. When I picked up my computer, they were very good to get back to me and Sofia texted me to re-relay the message that there was indeed water damage and asked if I had any further questions. I took in my 2013 MacBook Pro that was turning on, but the screen wouldn’t come on. I checked in my laptop and within 30 minutes I received a call that they had figured out the problem, it was very minor and that I could come pick it up. I realllly appreciate their professionalism, and knowledge!

Ive had a cracked screen for a little while now and kept putting it off because of the expensive quotes Ive seen ($175-225) and the hours of time needed for the repair (2-4 hours). This place fixed my iPhone screen for less than $150 out the door in less than 30 minutes! This was also done within an hour of me calling for the first time, no wait and no appointment needed. I needed a new battery for my 2016 15-inch MacBook Pro and decided to visit Z Mac after a lot of reviews, research, and also searching on my own to a few others but I am so glad I took my mac here. Excellent Service! I dropped my iphone and shattered the screen in the middle of a work meeting. My boss suggested this place and I called to see if they could help. Gentlemen who answered the phone was very helpful and confirmed their ability to fix my phones and offered directions if I wanted to head on over. I was VERY impressed. I worked with Sophia who was super polite and knowledgeable and was able to fix my phone quickly and reasonably. I literally broke my phone, called their office, drove to their office and had my phone fixed in under 20 minutes. Very friendly, small shop with fabulous service.

Great shop! I was really stuck with my extremely slow 7 yr old iMac and they diagnosed it right away and fixed it very reasonably. Previously another shop acted like it was doomed to oblivion. My attempts to diagnose were off the mark as well.

I took my computer here with water damage because the Apple stores are closed due to COVID, and even though they are flooded with customers they got my laptop back to me within just a few days and for way cheaper than what I expect I would have paid Apple. Z Mac is great, I dropped my MacBook Pro off to them on Monday and wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. They informed me all I needed was a new hard drive and hard drive cable. Came into get my charger port fixed on my iPhone because I thought I had broken it. They took a look at it, cleaned it and now it works great now. Didn’t charge me anything! Honest, fast and professional. I will definitely be back if I need anything else fixed.

Took in my laptop that had water spilled on it. Thought it would be a great place based on reviews. They refused to even LOOK at it for 3-5 business days. I can understand waiting in to fix it but when I depend on it for work, it would have been nice if someone could have taken a minute to unscrew it and check if out to see it even needed to be fixed in the first place. Not helpful at all.*Updating my review because the owner called me. I’m not going to give 1 star because covid is going on and it’s a stressful time for small businesses. I get that. However, on the call he argued with me and made excuses instead of listening to me, calling my review unfair and accused me of trying to kill small businesses rather than trying to listen to my feedback.I will admit I can’t review their actual work quality because I didn’t get that far. I couldn’t wait 3-5 days because I needed my computer for my job. I’m purely reviewing customer service and responsiveness. Maybe they do a great job, but there was no sense of urgency to try and get my computer looked at. I was able to take it to PC dude, another local small business, who made me feel like he valued my time and checked my computer out within an hour and since there wasn’t any damage I wasn’t charged and didn’t need to wait, I could get back to work.So in conclusion, if you need your computer looked at fast and you want to feel like your time matters, I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you’ve got time to spare, maybe your experience will be different. I made my initial review in the moment when I was feeling stressed and upset, but right now is a stressful time for everyone so we can all afford to cut business owners some slack.

Every step of the way Z was informative, respectful, and understanding. Before I even brought my laptop in, he answered all my questions over the phone. Once my laptop was with him, he was prompt with calling me back to update me on the situation. Because he had already informed me of what the issue probably was, I was ready for the cost and time frame of the repair. The repair was finished earlier than expected and he gave me the old part. Z was worth every dollar!

I stopped by to get my Macbook Air battery replaced here this week. They fixed it within 5-10 minutes! Their service was professional and affordable! I left very impressed and would highly recommend coming here if you have any tech-related issues.

I called about 10:21AM and he was able to take my laptop now and change the battery on a mac book pro (vintage 2013) while I went for food. INCREDIBLE. Thank you ZMAC. It was my day off and I didnt have to jump through hoops to get in. Moreover, it was cleaned and he put on a new cover. Pricing couldnt be beat: $220 for labor AND new battery in about an hour. ZMAC has a convenient location on 8th Ave. One thing-parking lot is steep/on a hill. I will use ZMAC in the future.

I walked into Z Mac with a smashed Apple Watch screen. I was just about to head out of town for my daughter’s wedding. They went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and did a fabulous job repairing the screen of my Apple Watch! I highly recommend this wonderful company!

I spilled basically an entire glass of water on my Macbook Pro keyboard. I turned it off shook it out, used compressed air to blow out drops, and let it sit for 24 hours. It turned on and worked for about 2 weeks with the screen going black randomly until it finally stopped turning on. My hubs removed visible corrosion, but it wouldnt turn on again. I read several repair shop reviews and decided on Zmac because it had great customer service reviews. I was able to walk-in with no appointment to drop off for 3 day diagnosis. Sofia (I believe is her name) acknowledged me right away, was very courteous, professional, and friendly. When they called, of course I opted to get the logic board replaced and she couldnt give me an estimated repair time because that was dependent on the availability of parts. I thought okay, maybe a week or two weeks...They called me to pick up 2 days later!!!Its heavy traffic around 4-6pm so try to go earlier in the day to access the parking lot easier.

I will definitely come back because it is amazing! They were quite friendly and provides very reasonable pricing.

Dropped my laptop (Mac Book Pro) off March 2nd. Got a call March 4th about the problem that I was having( I was downloading MacOS Big Sur and it had gotten stuck). They had my computer for 5 days. I came back to pick it up because no one ever called me to say what was wrong (they said they would get back to me that day about a broken screen). When I picked it up they said they called me and talked to me about the fixes. I never got a phone call and would remember them telling me to order a screen on my own.

Couldnt get my 2011 MacBook to turn on, I was worried it was the mother board due to age but when I brought it in, Z was able to change out the battery and get it on for me within 5 minutes! It was a good price and Z was so friendly! I will always recommend this place whenever theres an issue with Apple products.

These guys did a great job installing two SSD drives (that they allowed me to bring in myself to save me $) into my Mac mini. After a day one of the drives unmounted; I took it back and they reseated it while I waited and it is currently working just fine! These guys are quick, affordable and stood behind their work.

Brought my iPhone SE in for a repair (touch screen wasnt working). A few places told me the motherboard was fried and there was no way to fix it. I dropped it off at Z Mac and two hours later, good as new! Not only that, they charged me less than what they originally quoted me (as it was a different repair needed than they originally thought) and came in cheaper than anywhere else I took it for a quote! Excellent experience getting my MacBook Pro battery replaced at Z Mac!! The man who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. After finishing the job in about an hour, he took the time to pull up my system report and show me where the new battery had only been cycled once (proving it to be new and authentic) and he gave me tips on better battery health. He also cleaned the inside of my computer and all the little ports and crevices where dust gets trapped and becomes impossible to get out. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this level of customer service and technical proficiency deserve it!

Fabulous experience yesterday with Z. He is very friendly and obviously very knowledgeable. He quoted me a price on the front end for replacing my keyboard which was the exact amount of what it ended up being (which by the way was 1/2 of what another repair shop had quoted me). Even though he was very busy, Z told me he would do his best to accommodate my need to have my laptop back by the end of the work day so I could complete a clinical report that evening. Very quick service at a great price. Z is the owner and a nice man. He had the MacBook parts in house and only took about 5 hours to complete the work same day. He said I was welcome to use my own parts (purchased elsewhere) and his labor was the same flat fee either way. Honest man and an honest business. I dropped my laptop on a hardwood floor accidentally and damaged my hard drive. I brought it to an apple location and they told me my computer was toast and that I should just buy a new one - and it would be $500 to recover my data. Zmac recovered my data AND installed a new hard drive for a fraction of what apple quoted me just to recover my data. Zmac is honest, trustworthy, and fast! Highly recommend.

My phone was submerged in water, and looked like it was done. Apple store inspected and said I needed a new phone. I looked around for used phones, and called Z Mac about a possible used phone purchase. The employee said to bring it in to see if it might be fixable. They don’t charge for their time doing estimates, which is nice, since other similar Apple repair places in town do (in my experience). Dropped it off before they closed at 7, and he fixed it by the next day. They give a 60 day warranty, and everything has worked perfectly so far. I’m very happy to not be shelling out hundreds of $ for another phone right now! Price was very reasonable.

Theyre the best! Fixed the dock on my iPhone one visit, and replaced my battery another. Another Mac shop wanted to charge $100 more for the battery service, and apple had me on a week long waiting list. They were able to do both services within an hour. Super nice people, too!

Screw apple! Zmac is incredible! What apple quoted as an almost $600 logic board repair, Zmac was able to repair it for less than half the cost and pin pointed the true problem. He also was able to save all my photos for no additional cost, which apple said I would absolutely lose.
