This place is amazing! Lots of antiques and artsy crafts for decent prices, but the BEST part is EARNEST TUBBS TOUR BUS INSIDE! You can tour it by donation! It is truly spectacular and a step back in time!

The previous owners were amazing! The new owner, Maemai, not so much. As a vendor, I had a wall in the store with my woodwork for sale. She took my items down and spread them across other vendor booths without talking to me first. A few weeks later, she called to let me know I had 15 days to pick up my items because they weren’t selling. I was out of town on vacation and returned to care for a sick family member unexpectedly. The 15 day mark fell on a holiday weekend in which the store was closed. I contacted her when the store re-opened to arrange a time to pick up my items and she refused to give them back. Prior to this I hadn’t received any written notification to end our vendor agreement or a deadline to pick up the items aside from the phone call. I put so much hard work and time into my carpentry. I tried negotiating to retrieve a few items but she refused to return anything, huge loss on my part. I’ve successfully worked with multiple shops across Middle Tennessee and have kept a great relationship with each of them. I’ve never encountered anyone so unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend this store to any local vendor or customer.

The Tacky Turtle is such a great store! It is filled with all sorts of unique items. You could definitely find a gift/treasure to fit any soul. Give this place a visit! If treasure seeking is not your thing, then the warm cinnamon rolls will fill your void! The great customer service will bring me back every time!

Nifty store. Has something for everybody. Prices are reasonable. Particularly liked the discount book section.

Wonderful little store that offers items from various area crafters. There was also a little snack bar and Ernest Tubbs old tour bus. It was interesting to see how a country star traveled back in the day.There was a wonderful assortment of crafts - everything from jewelry to clothing to home decor. This would be an excellent place for gift shopping.

Great place to stop by and browse if youre in the area. They have all kinds of stuff. Craftsy, touristy, etc. It is like a craft mall or flea market with the stalls of different themed stuff... Some Nashville, country music, religious, accessories, tshirts, etc

I love this store! The people are always friendly to me when I walk in, and Ive been going to this place regularly since they opened. Every booth is completely different, so there is a lot of variety when you shop. Also, you can take a tour of Ernest Tubbs tour bus located inside the store. I nearly always eat a tasty cinnamon roll from the snackery before I leave .

Visited tacky turtle, walking around the entire store. The young lady behind the counter never looked up from her cell phone NOR did she acknowledge me. She kept her head down the entire time i was in the store. As i was leaving i asked her if this is the way she normally treats customers, ignoring them. She stated HEY I HAD BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF.

What a unique place with all kinds of treasures, a must check out place and the folks are friendly too.
