Todays experience was great with the 2 gentlemen i worked with. Been with rent-a-center for a long time.
During a pandemic, when social distancing is so important to our safety and well being, rent a center did not practice safe protocol. Although, they refuse to enter our home and left a refridgator on side walk, claiming it was easy to bring up step and in house they did not social distance or wear mask. The person dropping off the refrigerator was not wearing a mask. He got inches from my sons face to sign paper work. My son backed up to make for distancing and the employee came in closer. I called out from the doorway you are not social distancing you are not wearing mask. My son seeing I was deeply concerned backed up again at which time this employee came close up to my son to speak and give papers. I am completely outraged. We wee in a hard situation. Our refrigerator broke, during a pandemic had food that was defrosting a bit of a desperate situation. Rent-a-Center takes advantage of people always. They prey on those in need, bad credit, no credit, low income and those who need a temporary fix to a unplanned situation. Now it is time to return the refrigerator as the one we bought has arrived; they want us to bring it to curb watch it so noone takes it until they arrive. I dont care if it is a minute or an hour this seems insane to me. ( By the way our new refrigerator was delivered and brought into our home, while showing respect, safety and good safe distance while both delivery persons wore mask.So it can be done. ) In hindsight I should have gave up some food, waste or give away. The money and risk taken was not worth it.I would advise anyone to find a better way. They do not care about our safety in multiple ways. Nor do they care about their employees health risk.Update they came to pick up without mask. Giggled we had to remove door to get refrigerator out and once again did not properly social distance.

I called them an my buddy told me about them that I havent talked to him in a long time an he was saying whos his last name my friend hasnt rented form them in years an I forget his last name an like who is he or whats his last name
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were understanding when I had a financial issue that caused me to miss a couple of payments. They didnt hassle me or take anything back. They let me pay what I could afford until I finally caught up. All products are in excellent condition and many are brand new such as the TV I rented. Would have given 5 stars but the selection on electronics isnt that great. Some Rent a Center locations have a huge selection of phones, tablets and laptops but this particular location didnt have much to offer... I was interested in a phone but the models were outdated. They do have an excellent TV and furniture selection.
Im sorry my hole family has gone there for years and never have i seen any issues but then i go in for a phone and i gave them 2 addresses with proof and they called my resource and they gave them the same 2 addressses and said they were in correct of what i gave them witch is false and then they denied me when my job and lanlord both gave them everything they asked for im not happy not fair all i have to say

Stay Away from RACs Nashua Store!!(Ive used other RAC locations in the past and never had a problem)I called ahead to confirm pricing on a rent-to-own laptop and that the condition was new, which Joe confirmed. I came into the store and while they were processing my paperwork, I noticed them looking for a power cord, which threw off a red flag. I asked Gerry if the laptop I was doing a rent-to-own on was new and he said that he did not have the model Asus Gaming Laptop in stock in new condition. I explained that I was told the opposite over the phone. Gerry tells they can get me a new laptop but he did not sound confident on when.This is your classic example of BAIT and SWITCH.I told him to cancel the application/order.Do not waste your time with this store!
