Ace has been the go to place for me and my family for as long as I can remember. Their staff is always helpful when youre looking for that one item that may not be where you think it is. Youve done well cultivating your staff.

Oh my i felt like i was transported to another time. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. . granted the prices are a little higher on some things but if your a weekend warrior on fixing things or a pro they are an awseome store.

Try to avoid this Ace if at all possible. The management have installed assistance buttons all over the store that cause a violent reaction with their staff when pressed. It rings in their ears and rather than getting assistance I got on two separate occasions, a nasty diatribe from their staff for me having pressed it. Apart from that, this ACE has held onto for years, some of the worst characters, that belong in a back office away from the public. Their knowledge of the products does not surpass their poor communications skills. I have mentioned it to management, but this bunch just dont care. I do my best not to care for them and take my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.

I ordered two window screens. The customer service representative took my name and number and said he would call with the price. He called that afternoon. Ten days later I called to see what was happening with the order. I was told it should have been done but was not. The rep told me they would complete it that day. Later they called saying the screen were done.The next day I go to the store to pick them up. The representative behind the counter tells me he cannot get them without an order number. I tell him they never gave me an order number but used my name and phone number. He keeps on about needing the order number. I finally ask to speak to the manager. He tells me he is the manager - of the department. So ask to speak to the store manager. While speaking to the store manager, somehow the department manager finds the two screens. They tell me my balance is zero and I have to tell them that I had not paid. They tell me everything is always paid upfront before making screens.The store is poorly trained, staff is horrible. The department manager tried to explain to the store manager why it was not his fault that I was upset with the lack of service and basic systems. In the end, neither manager apologized for the delayed work, discourteous behavior or lack of basic protocol by themselves or other staff. I will not be back in this store again.

The staff is Always helpful and well informed relating to any product. And although it is a relatively small store.. They are quick to open extra check out stations.

ACE has been my store for over 50 years so was not a stretch when we moved to Naples. The staff at this location has always been helpful. I like going there because I can always find someone to help and answer my questions.

Mike did not put coloring in paint. My wife sent me to pick it up so I gave him the name, went home cut in the whole room, and was starting to roll second coat. Opened second can, whole different color. He never tinted the first can. My one day off wasted! I always try to use ace instead of the big box stores, but after this I will stick to Shermin Williams for paint. Excellent job Mike!Just opened new cans we brought home. The one isnt even mixed! Now Im not coming back for anything!Thanks Ace for wasting my one day off a week. Going to Sherwin to get new paint.

Wow.. came here at 7:30 am, Google saying thet are open at 7:00 am, only to be told with finger/hand gestures thar they are open at 8:00 am. I live about 15 minutes from here, so whats the point of driving back? Would have been easier and a whole lot less annoying if they fixed their opening and closing times. As im writing this post, there are people that came up to the store and walked away because it was closed..

Very nice set up. Smaller store but everything is easy to find. Very clean, well organized, the workers are very friendly and helpful. Found what I needed quickly. They have a nice section for fishing in the middle of the store. I like that set up a lot. Will definetively will be coming back again!

Love this place. Can always get what I need and in and out fast. They dont have everything the big guys have but that includes the lines.

May 29, 2020 12:30 pm- Great experience today at this place, I also work with customers and always try to give my best with them and expect the same when im the customer in other places. This morning i were looking for a cart to carrier my packages of water softeners and cant find one, Asked to John and this Guy walks all around the parking lot just to find a cart for me, and finally brought a Cart. I even asked him to wait for tips and he said tips wasnt needed, he were glad to help me finding a cart. This kind of service is the one that make you come back to these places. Thanks John!

I love Ace Hardware. Theyre close to my house, have random stuff I need and I hate Home depot.They have a decent fishing, electrical and plumbing section. Their Clark and Kensington paint is phenomenal and i come often when i get an itch to paint a bedroom (especially now being stuck home so much)They also sell dog food and gardening supplies.Service in the back of the store is always awesome, front end could use a bit of help.Its like walking back in time here, it feels like 1995 in here. I love the older dudes that have a lot of knowledge to bestow.

Traveled to this location bc they carry Florida Fishing Products and I was in the market for one of their reels. Ramiro was super helpful and gave me great advice on product selection.Another younger gentleman must of have pulled 8 different rods of the rack and went through detailed pros and cons of the different price points on the brands/types of rods I was looking for.Great customer service.

I only buy my paint from Ace Hardware. Havent had to paint any rooms in my house for a little while and went today and 1st they have moved the paint department to the back of the store. 2nd there was only ONE person working it. This was a Saturday! She had at least 6 people waiting. I have NEVER had this issue before. It seemed very unorganized since they moved it to the back of the store. Hope its not like this all the time now.

Always a good shopping experience!Always a knowledgeable and helpful store associate around to assist. Went in to get a couple of outdoor LED floodlights and I was quickly led to the lightbulbs ... not just told by a half-interested employee, but led to the correct aisle and then the associate made sure that it was what I was looking for. We shopped for a couple of other things, then went to the cash registers ... they had enough registers open to handle customers, and the wait for the next open register was brief. The associate at the cash register was smiling and friendly even though there was a steady line of customers, and made for another good trip to Ace Hardware in Golden Gate.

Be prepared to be talked down to and recieve condescending responses for every question you mention to the sales associate at the fishing counter. I came in, all of the cashiers were talking to each other. I couldnt find anyone in the paint department to help me. I had to come back and return what I bought because it was wrong. The cashier was nice. The store was clean.

It is not much of an exaggeration to say I could barely hammer a nail just one year ago. This year began with us discovering a busted pipe in our guest bedroom that required a whole-house re-pipe and complete renovation of our guest bedroom and bathroom.Because of limited budget, I had to do the renovations myself: remove carpet, drywall repair, install tile and baseboards, paint, install new outlets/covers, and anew ceiling fan in bedroom. I had to remove the vanity, sink, toilet from bathroom and install new tile, drywall work, new vanity, new sink, and new toilet. I removed medicine cabinet and installed shelving unit.I did all of this myself with much help from the kind folks here at Sunshine Ace. The few times I needed to use Lowes or Home Depot, I got generic answers and suggestions to buy things I did not need. The folks at Ace gave me specific help and only pushed me to buy what I needed.It is a fact I could not have done all of this work without the kind help from everyone at Ace. Thank you very much, we love the new rooms!!!

This may not be a big box store, but this store can meet most of your hardware needs. The staff is very knowledgeable about their merchandise and very friendly and helpful. They carry the highly rated Stilh yard tools and will also service these products in a timely manner.

Very knowledgeable staff, theyll take the time to make sure that you have what it takes to complete the job and keep you from buying what you dont need. Prices are fairly competitive with the Big Box outfits too. Be sure to ask for your Vet discount.

Gentlemen at the glass service counter were very nice today, havent stopped in for awhile, maybe I will try to stop in more! I always have unique requests and it was nice that they just gave me the cuts I needed without batting an eye, and even took the pieces to the car for me. Finally put together some perfect fitting lids for my 7 foot tank!

We love this place! Whenever we need something, the first thing we ask is “do they have it at the Sunshine Ace at Golden Gate?” (store # 06355) They carry just about anything that we can’t get in the grocery store, from gaskets for any size hurricane shutters to yeti cups to hard-to-find light bulbs and shower cleaners. There is always someone nearby to answer questions, point us in the right direction or walk us over to the product we need.On our last trip we were grill shopping, and were assisted by Cathy, who seemed to know everything about every grill in the store. She wrote up our ticket and took us to the manager’s desk to schedule the delivery for the day we wanted. It was delivered today as promised by a very able crew.It is so nice to have such a well-run and well-stocked store nearby where the prices are as good or better than the big box places!

I go to the Collier blvd. location, and this year (2014) they hosted an Easter egg hunt and pictures with the bunny. I have two young children (7mon. & 2yrs.) It was a perfect event for them. They loved it. The staff is knowledgeable, and always available to help. They have a great selection of merchandise. I love this store.

Well I have been going to this Hardware store for a few years now and have always been greeted with the respect that I deserve as a local tournament fisherman and mentor, the staff have always been great help whether im looking for pain Derek is great help or adding to my fishing Arsenal Ramiro and Maddie are very knowledgeable.
