My wife seems to be impressed with this shopping mecca. So many bargains and the store stock replenishes at a quick pace.
The man who works there is so friendly. He always tries to strike up a conversation. You can tell he has agreed good heart. The customer service is always good from other staf. You get quality products.Update: I returned 1 day later for a refund. I had bought a $100+ worth of items and returned $40 worth of it. They didnt fit properly. The lady said NO REFUND but instead bought my $40 items that I got from there 2 days ago for $16 credit. I felt so cheated.
They are always friendly when I come in. Great place to sell gently used up to date clothing and accessories. They have a very clean and organized store with lots of great Styles!
One of my favorite consignment store.I spent a lot of $$$ there but got a lot of special items at a great price. Many designer items or good quality.Love the purchase card that you get stamped and get a further discount on your entire purchase. More savings!!
I dont know if hes the owner but the guy thats usually there when I go is the SWEETEST guy ever! Hes sooo very nice Everytime I am there. Love this place!
Satisfied with the process in general, but the cashier was horrendously rude. Receipt says Penny, the older woman with white hair. Snappy, rude, and snarky. I will avoid this place in the future specifically because of her.

I patronize many resale stores for years in S & SW Florida. I’ve been buying and selling here at Clothes Mentor for years. Great experiences. One of my happy places! They’re always playing popular oldies or other toe-tapping tunes in the background, and ladies are smiling & singing to themselves as they browse and buy. Now with the COVID era, the ladies that work here work extra hard to keep the entire store spotless, wiping each dressing room and high-touch area after every customer, using UV wands on the clothes. It makes me feel extra comfortable nowadays!The Naples Clothes Mentor ALWAYS has a terrific assortment of clothes and accessories to meet my daily needs. Unlike some other resale stores, this location has very high buying standards, buying only items that usually look unworn. You’ll find a thorough selection of tops, pants, skirts, jeans, dresses, athletic/golf/tennis, outerwear, beachwear, and footwear. They do have a smaller selection of higher end shoes and purses, but for couture I’d recommend another resale store in the area that specifically carries the ultra-high end. That being said, this is the store where I regularly purchase the things I wear daily, from Talbot’s to J Crew, Lilly to Steve Madden, Chico’s to Banana Republic, Athleta to Nike. Happy hunting!

So rude!Im a tailor and I also sell clothes online, when I get too much inventory I usually donate whatever hasnt sold in the last 6 months. Saw this place on my way to work, thought Id give it a try.Got there, waited by the counter for a while, not seeing any employees. Finally when someone did come over, they said hi and immediately started going through my bag.She left out 3 things, shoved everything else back in my bag, then asked another girl to ring me out.Immediately the other women starts asking Name? Number? I answer, then ask Realistically how much do you think just these 3 items will come to? She replies Probably just a couple bucks. I reply Okay I dont think I want to move forward with this for a couple bucks. Without even looking at me she puts the clothes back in my bag and says Bye and just walks away.I planned on looking around the store to shop while I was there but never again will I walk into this store and Ill be sure to tell my customers (who are often thrift shoppers) the same.Rather feel good about donating then get treated like trash and thrown just a couple bucks.
I visit often because of big variety. The staff says hello when I enter and help as needed. The used clothing is great quality and bargains are throughout the store. The owner is very nice
I called and had several brand new with tags designer dresses none under $138.00 and was told I would be given $4.00 for this item was so insulted didnt even ask them about anything else. This definitely is not the place to sell your beautiful items. I would rather give them away which basically they were asking me to what a rip off.
Couldnt try on clothes. Couldnt return clothes. Give me a break.
We are accustomed to the highly personal, friendly, and accommodating service of the Clothes Mentor in Fort Myers, as well as, a large percentage of chic, fashionable and business-like DESIGNER clothes. What we found at this separately owned and operated Clothes Mentor in Naples was rude, condescending service and outdated non-designer styles and brands. We dropped $250 at Clothes Mentor in Fort Myers only ONE WEEK ago. We were in Naples and excited to try out this store in hopes of finding a similar cache of great clothes. We were more than disappointed. We were insulted and will NEVER set foot in the Naples store again. Clothes Mentor - Fort Myers, however, is EXCELLENT!
Good place to buy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR Stuff THERE TO SELL!!! I feel like a total idiot. I took a large amount of stuff there today. They didn’t take a lot of it which was okay. It took them about 3 hours to decide what they would take. I walked out with $146.90. When I got home and went through what they didn’t take I realized they had taken all designer handbags, designer shoes, Maui Jim sunglasses and all,of my 14K gold and gemstone jewelry. My fault. I agreed to their terms. I would have gotten a lot more at a pawn shop for the jewelry and would have rather donated the designer items to a charity. SELLER BEWARE!
I guess they havent figured out when customers bring in high end items/ new with tags to sell and they give them $2.85 a piece (an insult as many reviewers have said), that No One is going to bring in their high end items to you again. It does seem your inventory is lacking. That is probably why. I wont be back and I am always reselling Beautiful items. Your loss. Someone would have to be stupid to sell to this Clothes Mentor once they find out how little they pay. Its not smart to stick it to the middle man with whom your business soley relies on.
I love this store. Have brought all my friends and they loved it tooI am in this store on a weekly basis. The staff is very helpful andthe prices are amazing. So far the best consignment store in Naples.Very organized in sizes, color and items. My only problem is that Ialways have to go and buy more hangers........
They have many clothes, shoes,accessories, purses to choose from. Policy on you selling your items is not so good though. Seen many fantastic designer items in great shape sent home with seller. Sad to say too cause the Naples store could use them.
Its alright, this is my third visit and have difficulty finding quality bargains. I prefer Twice As Nice Consignment Shop off US 41.
First time there and selling clothes. They were very friendly. They do have specific restrictions on the clothes they purchase, understandably. Yet, they called me within 2 hours of me dropping them off to inform me they were ready to make an offer on the clothes they were interested in.I was able to take the remainder to a different resale/consignment shop and still walk out with cash from them.

The only place I could find that buys clothes. I got $38 for ladies clothes & accessories that originally cost well over $500, But they were a year or 2 old.
Went to the Naples store with clothing items many brand new and designer handbag and shoes. Was given $33 for my items, $10 more if I took a store credit. Will not go back with my things to this store.
This place was so organized and clean! Everything was organized by style, color, size and season. Lots of clothing for people of ANY size. Prices were great and the quality of the items there were like brand new. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent place. Definitely will be back!
Clothes selection is great, great pricing and shoe selection is awesome! Unfortunately I dont go here often because the staff is not friendly...Half is, half not. Charro, cashier is helpful and sweet as well as an older lady on the floor but two sales ladies on the floor are rude and a couple of ladies behind the counter dont seem to want to help customers. I feel like they are bothered. But I do like the merchandise and their music!
I thought they were just stingy when I was selling, but I wanted to buy sunglasses for 4.99 with my $5 voucher. They told me they couldnt sell them because they item had to be $5. I told them I would give them a $1 and they wouldnt do it. So, let me get this straight...youre willing to lose a customer over $1?! Seriously?!
I went there at the end of the season last year, took about $2000 worth of items. Most designer labels. After waiting an hour and a half, they gave me $48! I was so shocked. I should have taken all my clothes back and donated them. What I did learn is never do it again!

I was nervous to visit the store after reading the reviews about the rude staff. I can’t speak for all the workers but the women that helped me was VERY nice. She even helped me bring clothes to my car bc I had my nine month old daughter with me. Will definitely return to buy or sell!
Terrible service. Snobby staff that wont allow a mother and child go in a fitting room together. Or even wouldnt let my cousin and aunt go together after her arm surgery to help her try on clothes.Also tried selling clothes and while I waiting for a quote, the staff were talking bad and rolled their eyes at my personal conversation with my friend. Youre better off going to Platos closet. Youll save time,money and wont be judged by rude staff.

Horrible customer service except the gentleman who finally took care of me who was very polite and very nice. Most of my clothes were new still with tags and they only accepted 4 items and wanted to give me $20 and change I felt discriminated and offended. I will never go to that store again. Very rude people working there especially this young lady that skipped me twice and was very very rude. This franchise is making lots and lots of money by paying nothing to customers and getting all the benefits.

I wouldnt recommend this store to noone since.they say they pay cash for the clothes we bring in.but one time i took all the nice expensive brand clothes that i was going to sell in my yard sale & took it to them.i had to wait 30 minutes which i thought it was worth the wait.but then after they called me.nust to tell me that they could only buy 1 pair of shoes,which i had gotten very dissapointed.bcause i had drove from east naples just for that.it was a complete waste of time.i will never sell my clothes to them,ever again.
I take my wife frequently to Clothes Mentor in Fort Myers where she gets quality, inexpensive, designer clothes for work and a night in the town. This one in Naples is OBVIOUSLY a different owner. The staff is rude, unhelpful, dismissive and condescending. I will NEVER go to this store again due to the exceptionally poor customer service.
Don’t sell your clothes here. They tried to give me $10 bucks for three express shirts ( one still had the tags), a Ralph Lauren top, and a pair of boots. Super disappointing.
Staff is not friendly ! Very condescending. Will never buy or sell there. The lady I dealt with needs a few lessons in customer service or maybe just plain interpersonal skills. Not a place I would recommend to anyone to do business.

Very disappointed in how they assessed my once worn items from Talbots! I would have been better off giving to a Thrift Shop !!!!! I do not recommend Clothes Mentor at all. The staff was NOT friendly as well. I have seen a few posts noting the rude staff......why dont you improve your customer service! They are very rude.
Took in never used name brand purses and was told they had too much wear when questioned the rude woman said there was dust in the zippers. Im thought the store was for gently new stuff. Will never go back
I stopped by to see if this location would be interested in purchasing some of my new/gently used items. When I walked in (Im near 30 but look young for my age) the ladies working the counter looked at me, then each other, and back at what they were working on. There was no greeting. I said hello and one woman responded. I let her know I was interested in selling to them, she looked at me and said, theyre not juniors are they? The women working in this store were not friendly, and I felt they were unprofessional in how they treated a potential customer. I felt discriminated against based on my youthful appearance. I have had positive experiences at other locations, but I will not return to this Clothes Mentor and will not be recommending that friends of mine visit their location either.
The staff keeps me coming back. Happy to stop in whenever I get a chance.

Mean!Also, another lady with reddish hair, old, and dimples- Beyond Rude! Mr. Owner, seriously, read the reviews on here and Yelp. Dont you want your business to flourish and for people to say how great your store is? I work with over hundreds of women, honestly, most of them say they dont go there because of the staff. How terrible that their glances, tone of speaking and non-customer service plays such a large influence on shopping there. I buy LOTS of clothes from everywhere. You may or may not care but youre losing LOTS of business, not just from me, but a lot LOT of people. You keep getting the same complaint. FIX IT! Too bad I wont go back to see if you actually follow through. Suggestions to your staff: Be Nice to your customers, offer help, greet them when they come in, dont make them wait for check out or rooms (and if rooms are full, have the sales floor people make them feel welcome, Not an inconvenience!) and Gods Sake!--- STOP being RUDE! If you want specific examples, message me! Ill give you a GOOD list to start with. Ill come in there and grab everyones names. So far, you only have about 2 nice people working there. Charro and one other lady. Fix it. Hire new staff. Hire normal blood pumping staff who have hearts and like to help people!

Everytime I go in to sell new never used clothes or purses, the staff claims there to be a smoke smell that wasnt there when I dropped off the clothes. I swear to God they do something that makes the clothes have a horrible odor that smells of smoke. They tried to blame me for the scent. I have a new apartment and a new car. I do not smoke and yet Everytime I go in they claim it smells like smoke.
