Very helpful staff and great products. Loved the range of kitchen accessories and Christmas tree decorations! A great stopping point at Mercado.
My wife and I always have a good time at the Naples Sur La Table store. The staff is very knowledgeable and we enjoy using the products. We have taken about a dozen cooking classes and each one is unique and fun. Most recently, Chef Lou was delightful, guiding us toward our next cooking class (Discover Caribbean Flavors) and some awesome cookware.
If I could, Id give this store, Chef Lou, and Chef Jon 10 stars! Yesterday Chef Lou helped us with our new Jura S8 coffee maker. He gave us a mini lesson in the store.Later, we took a Caribbean Flavors class with Chef Jon. How fun and the results were delicious! Since we were the only two people in the class, Chef Jon planned additional dishes for us to prepare. We took plenty of food home!Wally is a trained knife sharpener who is at this store. We were able to get all our knives sharpened at no charge while we were taking our class. The staff at this location are professional, friendly, and knowledgable! We are happy customers!
Marvelous environment with great parking, lots of tall windows, a relaxed professional atmosphere....and wonderful capuccino! Sur la Table offers every kind of tool and gadget for the kitchen nestled in among Swiss espresso machines and frothers, fanciful quality table linens, cooking gloves, and adorable aprons, as well as specialty items such as ice cream cones, spices, and delightful decorative collectibles. One entire wall is dedicated to cutlery to meet every slicing-dicing-chopping-skewering and trimming need. Pleasant, knowledgeable ladies will guide you to your shopping choices. For those who wish to socialize while learning a bit about cooking, Sur la Table offers very enjoyable classes several times a week.
Everything you need and didnt know you needed for your kitchen and home. This location also has cooking classes. From dishes, appliances, gadgets, glassware, bakeware and even food items. Some if the items they have are baking mixes and salts. They have nice customer service and will help answer questions. They have table items too. Also, they always have great season and holiday items.
I would not recommend this place for cooking classes. It is a total scam and you do not get what you paid for. The store MUST figure out a better system. I was a group of 3 and we received the same portion as an individual. We also received a dinky salad and paid full price for each person.
Staff were very kind and nice and went out of their way to help me. The store has knives, bakeware, silverware, plates, cups, napkins, coffee machines and a lot of cooking gadgets. All kinds of cool things I didnt know existed!
Even with the rude staff in the Naples store I placed an order for an item unavailable in their retail stores on December 6, 2020. Just two days ago I was told that all of a sudden it was no longer in stock, canceling my order and refunding my money. To make matters worse the item was available in another color which I would have gladly accepted, yet no one in the company had the courtesy to contact me to make the alternative sale. Of course now they can’t guarantee delivery before Christmas. That’s really nice. This is some of the worst online and store service I’ve received this year. Sur La Table certainly doesn’t offer the great customer service and retail experience it once did. So sad.
I recently went in to look at some knives to complete my Wüstof set. Wally, the stores knife expert was a tremendous help. He was able to help me pick the right knives and even gave me a few pointers on how to care for them. After the quality service I decided to bring some knives back for him to sharpen. Another great service. Three year old blades like new!I would recommend a visit if you are looking for top quality knives or a sharpening
Bought a knife for almost 400$ when they still were claiming life time warranty. Guess what they changed their rules. Could be a awesome store if they wouldnt lie.
This shop has wonderful products. Some have original designs and all have very good taste. It is worth to visit it.
Had a lot of fun with Chef Sharon on our date night. Acapulco scallops was our date night of choice. Informative and entertaining. We met alot of nice people.
HORRIBLE.............WE PAID FOR 3 AND GOT THE SAME AMOUNT AS A PERSON PAYING FOR ONE.WE CALLED THE STONE AND CHEF AND THEY SAID TOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!BAD ATTITUDE AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After I found what I came to buy, I got in line and was told I was in the wrong place, (registers on both sides, no signage to indicate where line forms) and to go around to the other side. OK... I went around to the other side, losing my place in line and got in a longer line, then a different employee told me I was blocking the view of merchandise for other customers and to move again. Finally, I was waited on and brought around,...wait for it, to the side I started on. Ladies, Amazon has what you sell and they dont tell me Im doing it wrong in a bossy manner. So long Sur...
I love this store. When I come here I feel like a kid in a candy store. Is it wrong I want to walk out with one of everything from here? Im not sure I can afford it all but I totally need it all in my kitchen. They have cooking classes here too. The kitchen is connected to the main store and it looks amazing in there. I havent ever take a class but Im sure it is fun. There is a schedule posted with up coming classes. If you love cooking like I do then this is the store for you. From dishes to utensils to culinary gadgets this place will have you cooking in no time at all.
Never in my 45 years of life have I witnessed an employee treat customers and their coworkers with such a level of disrespect. My wife and stopped by inquiring about the classes they offer. After Shavon talked down to my wife, and myself, we left her alone and decided to do our shopping unassisted. Shortly there after we could hear her belittling her employees from half way across the store. Unfortunately, those in the kitchen as well as the other shoppers experienced the same awkward moment as she carried on in a manner unfit for any professional. She quite honestly left the room stunned. Its a wonderful store with great employees. My wife and I visit every holiday, but avoid Shavon at all costs.
My husband and I went down to make an exchange and WHAT A STORE! The place is loaded with thoughtfully created items to make our kitchen experience flawless and graceful. We loved the store, but what made it a place that I will frequent is the employees! They gave us lattes and chatted about a myriad of topics. We both felt welcome and I now have a NEW FAVORITE STORE! Thank you Andrea and the others in the store that day. Blessings.
Bought a not inexpensive, stylish water heater for making tea in late December 2018. Now it does not work and I brought it back. No guarantee... I should send it in to manufacturer! Seriously?Service is horrible, attitudes I wont even speak about.I bought so much in there. But never, ever again. No wonder Amazone takes business away from local retailors.
I was given a gift certificate for a cooking class at Sur La Table and I am going to be out of town for the class ... I went in to the Naples location today and I was ‘put off’ by all staff - they didn’t want to deal with me or help me. I was treated like a ‘second class citizen’ and no one wanted to help me. Finally, it took someone LONG MINUTES to help me - it was such an inconvenience - and they were not at all nice ... the lady who helped me went into the back room and never re-surfaced to help me resolve the issue. The other ladies weren’t sure what to tell me, except “perhaps you should hang around to make sure you get your credit” ... after 30 minutes I left the store - 45 minutes total of waiting with no help! I used to love this store but will NEVER shop here again! Horrible customer service!
Poor customer service! I booked a class that was canceled because the AC broke (no biggie, stuff happens). I rescheduled for another date that happened to be more expensive. Prior to re-scheduling I called the store to find out if I could get the rescheduled class for the same price as the original. They said yes & they would credit the difference when I showed up for the class. Long story short they went back on their word and wont do it. Store manager tried saying it would come down to corporate, but corporate says its down to the store manager. On a side note, the cooking class experience was great.
Cooking glasses were the best date idea I have ever had. Experienced Chef and great food and atmosphere.
Wonderful afternoon private party class for 12 close friends with Chef Ed that ended with dinner at 5 PM. JUST. DO. IT.
I was recently disappointed with Sur La Table. They advertised a sale of a product. I checked on line and it was out of stock. I clicked a button to locate the product at a store, and it indicated that it was in stock. I went to the store and they were also out of stock. The store told me that they will never have this product since the manufacturer was changing the product. The product sale was still being advertised in the store. I asked why they advertised a sale of a product they did not have and had no intention of stocking. After a little mumbling, they blamed corporate. I then called the customer service line, and they said they did this all the time and basically said tough luck. This is not the actions of a reputable company and their response was basically too bad.I will no longer do any shopping at Sur La Table, and suggest anyone that does, watch their back.
