David Blasier is the Tech Service Manager at the store I visited, but he was engaging with customers on the sales floor as well. I was hunting for an ergonomic chair, and he was very helpful. Its nice to see someone that takes their job seriously and provides the kind of customer service that makes for a very pleasant shopping experience!

Do not waste your time pre-ordering anything from this store. I ordered an item that had a One Hour ready time and four hours later I go to pick it up and they have no clue as to where my order is.Terrible Customer Service

Andie was such an immense help to me yesterday! I called frantically in a bind because my printer stopped working! I needed a large amount of documents printed before the start of my online class (40 minutes away at time of call). She assured me that she could take care of my online print order in time! And within 20 minutes she did! My prints were complete and ready to be picked up! She even left such a nice note inside of the box that I later saw when I got home! Great customer service especially with my stressed and frantic attitude. Thank you so much!

Found an office chair I liked in the store. They were not in stock, so clerk said they could order them and have them shipped to my house for free with next-day shipping. It was Saturday, so he said it may be Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Placed order on 4/6/2019. No chairs by Saturday 4/13/2019. I called and Staples said the shipper lost one of the chairs, so theyd re-ship the order. They reshipped, I was told chairs would be here by 4/16 - only one was delivered. I called and Staples reshipped the second chair (error on previous call-takers part) and Id receive it by 4/17. No delivery on 4/17. Got an email 4/18 saying the delivery date would be 4/18 - no delivery. Called and they said there were still 3 runs the truck was doing and Id still get it on 4/18 - no delivery. Got an email on 4/19 saying the chair will be here 4/19 - Im not holding my breath.If youre going to buy something at Staples, make sure its in stock. Otherwise dont bother. If had been something I didnt need to try out, like the chairs, I would have been better off going to Walmart or Amazon anyway for price and availability.

I got copies done here for a non profit fundraiser and the employee at the copy/printing center was so helpful. He really made things easier for us. Overall it was a great experience! Great costumer service!

Went to check out and an item was twice as much as the price sign stated. Would only honor 1 at the signed price and not both items. Not real happy as their own employees labeled it wrong. Thought IL law says stores have to honor signed price. There were numerous items still behind the sign and I was only buying 2. Staples customer service is slipping a bit. Need to hirer better employees or honor prices as marked.

Store Manager Jeff M helped me reunite a lost pet with its owners! Jeff is one of the store managers at this Staples and he went above and beyond what I was expecting in order to help me reunite a lost pet with its family. I told him the story of how I found a lost cat in my neighborhood and wanted to recreate flyers to help find his family. I asked if they would discount the flyers and he took 50% off over 300 flyers. It was just incredible. Because of his kindness I was able to print more flyers that I originally thought I could afford and in the end him and his team (shout out to Daisy) we got a lost kitten back to his loving family

1 Star just because eventually an answer was given. Was on hold two separate times for 30 minutes.. 30 MINUTES! A Staples.. a store that has most likely 10 customers a day.. cant answer a phone and handle an inquiry.. eventually the answer i was given on whether my paid for product was in was told to me.. same girl answered the phone twice asking for the same info.. yet took an infuriating amount of time to relay back to me. Cant wait til I can ignore this stores existence. Hello Amazon.

There was a long line and one poor guy trying to juggle the phones and the line. Another member started taking the calls and a third jumped in to help out. Then another helped me figure out what mouse to buy based off my needs. Thanks for the good work and for being helpful

Sold me a printer with a broken printer head out of the box. Their response you shouldve bought the extended warranty. When I asked what Im supposed to do with it I was told. I could care less, but you cant return it.

The staff was very helpful. 4 stars because the office furniture I went to see and sit in before I bought it wasnt on display. Same as Officemax. its not easy for me to decide whether a chair will fit my needs and body by seeing it online. I must be getting old.

I had the same problem with this particular store: they refused to honor the online sale price (the same item in the store had been on sale earlier in the day) and would not sell it to us for the discount (which was supposedly going on through the rest of the day).Due to the utter lack of customer service that Staples has to offer, we made our purchase elsewhere -- and I will continue to make office supply purchases elsewhere. There are plenty of other places who will have better prices and better service.

I had to get 190 pages to be printed and spiral bounded, so I checked online it was little over $18 for this job. I thought it will be good idea to go drop on the store and pick later so I did. I was surprised when they changed me over $26 for the same job. They do not match their own website pricing...weird.IT WAS NOT EASY for me to pay 36% extra Staples. I am done with you STAPLES.

I dont recommend anyone to call this store as you wont get correct update about something available in store.Called this morning to check about online order pick up in store for a item, after 10 minutes of holding phone, one girl answered the phone. I inquire about this item that shows 1 available but she gave me misleading information saying its not available without actually checking on it. I drove to the store in the evening and found same item pretty much available to purchase...total useless people answering the phone so dont waste your long hold time to get update on availability in store for any item.

Went there to print off invitations for the first time and the manager had no idea what he was doing. I wasted money printing and buying paper that they already supply for invitations and spent over $60 for a simple $20 printing job plus being charged the time spent on the computer and him printing from there. Plus I was there for 2 hours trying to get 25 invitations printed off.

Rude staff, when I did not want to purchase their useless warranty on a chair I got a dirty look and crappy attitude. Spending close to $400 wasn`t good enough I guess. Fine, next time I`ll do all the shopping for my business online.

Had to pick up a project of multiple copies they made for me. I asked if he could cut me some circles out of black vinyl, He said no! After completing my order and paying for it he then asked well, how many circles? I said no thanks I will go to a professional! Not friendly, not helpful, I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere!

This is specifically for the TSA pre-check station. The employees that work it are wildly underqualified. It’s appointment only, which is completely pointless when they can’t get their computers to work and they just tell me to drive an hour away to go to the place with walkins. If this is the case, why wouldn’t I just always go to the place with walkins? had I known this would’ve been the case, I wouldn’t have wasted hours of my time waiting for their systems to get back up or whatever limp multitudes of excuses they gave to the other 5 people who scheduled out this appointment a month in advance. Allow walk-ins or just shut it down, seriously.

An employee called me to tell me they were printing my order of 4 posters. I called over an hour later to confirm they could be picked up and they informed me that someone jumped ahead of me. I explained that, if they had already started my order, it was unfair that someone could have it stopped mid print. After arguing with the manager, Patty, for a while she told me, Fortunately, I dont have to care about what you think is fair or isnt, because its corporate policy. After I, then, called corporate, she refused (even to corporate) to finish my order. She is a nasty shrewish woman who lorded her managers position over me and ignored customer service.

I ordered cardstock offline because they did not carry it in the store. On the day it was to arrive, I called at noon and was informed that the package was not there and that I should wait for the delivery confirmation email. Later that evening, I found out that my order actually arrived at 10 that morning. So I was lied to because they were too lazy to actually check. They also took it upon themselves to sign MY name for the package rather than their own name, which is ILLEGAL. I will never shop at this location again.

Up until recently I had no issue with this store and even enjoyed working with their tech guy, Nehul, but he no longer works there. My issue is with the store manager that works there. She argued with me about their price match policy and when I finally told her to forget about it and that I would gladly go to Target and get the same item she finally agreed to honor their policy while muttering under her breath about how much she hates, hates, hates, price matching while stabbing at the register. She also spoke rudely to the salesgirl that I had been working with (I had no issue with how the salesgirl was treating me or the other customers). Just the manager.

The manager patty at the store was very challenging. I spent 40 minutes there looking for a particular stapler like I only bought 3 weeks ago. there was no stock nor could we locate a part number. I asked for a discount on an upgrade stapler for which she would not consider. what made the experience worse she kept on interrupting me when I tried to describe the problem and my need.

Terrible customer service. Instead of trying to help me, they have 5 associates go out of their way to let me know that they are closing soon. No wonder office supply chains are shutting down. If they would have assisted me instead of interrupting my search, I would have been out sooner than 9:03pm.
