ALDI is a great grocery store with lots of really cool and nice finds, baked goods wraps, sauces, cheeses, ice cream, produce. I particularly like their k cups for coffee and for hot cocoa. They also have some home goods in their home goods section. You want to always check it out since you can find a good deal. Their shopping carts are the ones you need to put in a quarter so make sure you have that if you want to but more than one item. Also they dont give bags, so make sure to bring reusable bags or just be prepared to carry you items when you leave.

Love Aldis, just wish they would carry some more products. My friends down South always brag with all the stuff they get from their Aldis and the Aldis that we have here in Rockland never have what the South has!!!

On Tuesday, September 14 around 7 PM I stopped in for a couple cases of water; this was my first time here.I had to search around a bit to find what I was looking for since I was not familiar with the layout. In doing so I realized there was exactly ONE register open, and there was a huge checkout line with multiple conversion points full of people arguing because no one knew what was going on.When I saw how crazy it was, I didn’t bother trying to finish my shopping trip. I turned right around and left. I’m not disappointed though, it would’ve been a big problem carrying that many groceries by hand - I didn’t have a quarter on me and that’s the only way to get a cart there.I certainly see how Aldi affords it’s low prices…

Products situated strategically....very smart.

First time I shopped was just to see what the hype was about. Went in with a negative attitude because of name brands etc. Now I love it. Brands are good. My kids actually prefer some of these brands vs ones I used (know. Brands ) I find abt 95% of what I need (cold cut I now go to deli) produce 100% better than my other 2 local supermarkets. Fast and spend A LOT LESS THAN I USED TO

Very pleasant experience overall. Store is spacious, clean, and well laid out, and we easily found all our staples. Service was friendly and lightning fast (as expected!). Surprisingly, the place wasnt busy on the weekend afternoon of our visit so we were in and out in no time. Parking spots were plentiful as well.

I love aldi for quick grocery shopping. The store is a good size so youre not running all over the place looking for stuff. The have many basics. I buy my meat for ethnic dishes elsewhere.

Unbelievable deal tonight still a lot left they have Atlantic salmon at 50% off the normal price and thats a really good deal folks.in general I just love Aldi so you cant go wrong especially at the store especially tonight!

Always poorly stocked on blue berries and strawberries. When they do have them you get them home and there are moldy pieces. I have shopped in many aldi locations in multiple states. I have never seen this problem this bad anywhere else. Perhaps the manager needs to be retrained on how to run a store.

Fruit there is disgusting and rotten. Otherwise a great clean, fast and friendly place. Prices there are awesome.Edit: I posted this review almost a year ago and still nothing has changed. I bought strawberries because I would assume that they would care more for their fruits and vegetables but I was sadly disappointed.The strawberries I purchased were nasty and moldy, I strongly do not recommend coming here for fruits or vegetables.

Love this store. Through the worst of the pandemic they kept things stocked & clean. The staff here is what sets them apart from other grocery stores in the area. They are phenomenal. If the line gets long they step up to open registers to get people in & out efficiently. When the line subsides they go back to their other duties. Been coming here since they opened & am consistently impressed. Thank you for your hard work.

I love Aldi because it is small, has everything I need, and one doesnt waste time going around inside and get distracted. Shopping at Aldi is assertive, cost effective and healthy because they have lots of organic food and a variety of produce.

Not like the Aldis in Virginia. No beer or wine. Pretty cleaned out but that is to be expected on a saturday evening.

We shop here almost exclusively for groceries and home items. The rest is due to bulk pricing. Love coming here the staff and selection is great

I love shopping at Aldi. Its true they dont have everything, but they have all your grocery essentials and you cant beat their prices. You need a quarter for a cart (returned when you return the cart) and you need to bring your own bags or grab empty boxes as you go through the store. A wonderful addition to the area.

Typical Aldi. It had all the basic stuff you need and could hope for. They dont have ten different kinds of pasta or chocolate but the one they have is good and thats all we need. Good selection of meats and vegetable/fruit.

This supermarket was a great addition to the neighborhood. Low prices on produce and simple displays. Not a ton of choices or a full scale super market. One thing to note, bring your own bags and have a quarter handy if you want a cart.

Nicely priced fresh produce. Thats my favorite part of Aldi, and the cheaper-than-most-places milk and frozen chicken nuggets. My son shops here regularly and I admit Im a little jealous of his finds.

I love shopping at ALDI Nanuet! Store manager Mickey is always extremely helpful and courteous! The store itself is gorgeous as well as all of their displays. I never have any issues finding what I need, when I need it!

For the sake of your health, do NOT shop here. The worst Aldi I have ever shopped at. There was not much produce, and what was there was old and a lot of it moldy. Every single pack of organic blackberries had mold. All but one pack of organic strawberries had mold. The organic pears had mold.I unknowingly purchased expired apple chips, located right next to the register. I should have known better and double checked, but these items should not have been on the shelf. They were 2 weeks past the best by date.Shut this store down.

My sons and Is favorite place to go food shopping. Friendly staff, apparently happy staff, great products. I save about half of my grocery bill at this place, life saver. Weve been going to the one in Stony Point for years and now we go to Nanuet as its closer to us and its the same great place. We love it!!!

Tried to shop at the Nanuet location twice and both times left without making a purchase. Long register lines and no one around to assist you with questions. You would think as a newly opened store they would have made a better effort. We will not be going back.

Pleasant place to shop at. Need a quarter to get a shopping cart. Its annoying but it helps clear up the parking lot. A lot of items created specifically for Aldi that are just as good as the known brands but at a better price. Been shopping there every week since they opened.

Clean and organized with fast checkout. Prices are really good for most products. You wont find everything here, but youre staples are there.

It was difficult to unlock a shopping cart. Aldi has a very limited selection. The shopping cart was again an issue at checkout because apparently we are supposed to use the previous customers cart but my 2 daughters were in my own cart. Chaos!

Poorly designed store. Dollar general treats their team and customers with more respect. Selection is not great. But they did have coconut water but fairway has cheaper prices.

Ive tried to give Aldi a chance, but every time it dissapoints. Too much junk food, minor amount of organics, prices are often on the higher (same items cheaper at other supermarkets). Chained up shopping carts (poor move if you want customers to buy more). Unfriendly staff and no way to see how things ring up at the register. Almost empty every time I go no matter what time of day. And they never, ever carry their famous low carb bread (Ive since found an alternative from Schmidts easily found at Stop n Shop and Shoprite). I give it two stars only for being clean. Ill keep going to other local supermarkets and will happily travel to go to the much better Trader Joes. Considering the recent demise of Fairway in Nanuet, I wouldnt be surprised if this place ends up with the same fate.

I have a few complaints with this store. The refrigerator items aren’t stocked and not many selections. Seems like every time I go there the pre made salads are all gone. They also need more staff to stock the shelves all day long and need more cashiers. On a whole the store is so so, no big wow factor here for me. I am very disappointed with the way this Aldi’s is run. My daughter lives in England and Aldi’s is a big name there and their stores are always stocked to the max. They also have a big selection in every aisle. I hope you read these reviews to make Aldi’s a better place.

People walking out complaining ... they have no brand names Pet food? No Friskies, Alpo, 9 Lives, or Fancy Feast. Fruit & vegetables was about 10 sq ft for both; limited. Priced same as Stop n Shop and Shoprite. Organic section maybe 4 sq ft. I didnt see organic fruit. Meats and poultry about 20c a lb less but again generic. I couldnt find ice cream or variables so if it was there it too is limited. Youll have to PAY FOR THE CART. Its only a quarter but to get your quarter back you have to RETURN it. A good idea but is it necessary??

I might be the wrong demographic for this store. I went opening day, my first time. I expected crowds and fuss and there was. This was not what was bothering me. What bothered me was upon finding the extremely small organic section, strawberries were moldy in some packs. The grapes were not crunchy but softer which means older. I can’t understand how fruit is already turning on opening day. Bad storage practices? My 2 year old wanted to eat some fruit while shopping. There were no garbage cans to be found within the store. First I’ve been to where there aren’t garbage cans around.The lines were long - again to be expected. A well meaning but clueless worker was trying to tell a bunch of us waiting that there weren’t as long of lines on the other side of the store. I told her that wasn’t true as I just came from there and they were in fact longer. She went to check and told me I was right. Please check these things before trying to steer people around. Luckily no one left their cue because I spoke up.For me, the organic section was not large enough and the wrong items were “organic” - such as highly processed / packaged foods.Also the aisles weren’t quite large enough to accommodate the large shopping carts. Two people going in opposing directions had to squeeze by each other to get through.I’ll stick to my Trader Joe’s, Wegmans and A Matter Of Health. Thanks Aldi but no thanks.

I really enjoy shopping and Aldis and have not had any issues to this date. However, some of these negative reviews are sort of tone deaf. So for some clarification, for the shopping carts, you use a quarter but you also get it back when you lock it back in. This promotes the user to push back the carts into their designated areas so they arent just strewn about everywhere like in Costco and Shoprite.As for the selection, Aldi has ALWAYS had a smaller selection than traditional supermarkets. This is why their space is much smaller as well.For the stocking, I believe since they are so new they havent found the necessary employees to meet demand of replacing the produce and re-stocking as opposed to the volume of customers. Probably a planning error on their part but hey, cut them some slack.Aldis isnt everyones cup of tea. But I, for one will keep coming back.

Asked about Aldis getting L’Oven Fresh Zero Net Carb Bread, was told they will never have these products. Well this makes Aldis useless to me.
