Iam a customer that purchased a 2002 Monaco titan thier several mechanical items to be addressed before taking possession of the RV my go to guy was Pat sales manager he did all that was to be replaced as new or rebuilt as in a man of his word also 8 months later Pat took care again going out side the contract warranty dates and addressed my repair ! We just bought our fifth wheel and our rep, Grady White, was AWESOME! Grady went the extra mile to make sure that we were taken care of. The part the experience usually falls apart is in finance. Our finance person, Samantha Rice, was the best finance person we have ever dealt with anywhere. Clearly communicated, listened to our concerns and worked with us. The overall Bretz experience was top notch!

I never post reviews unless it’s really good, or really bad. In this case, I am extremely pleased to write a 5 star review for Bretz and the team, more specifically, my salesman Grady! His service was above and beyond. He explained the entire process to us from the start and asked us questions to figure out what it was exactly that we wanted. Horrid experience, would NEVER recommend anyone to go here with how we were treated! I didnt get our sales guy name or card but, im shocked he can sell anything with how he treats people. 1st off before they will even let you see any trailer on their lot you have to tell them all your info, like vehicle, trade, what you want payment to be etc. Then you get taken out to lot on golf cart to see nothing you wanted, uh really. When we ask to see the inside of a grand design we get told, you cant afford that with the payment you want Im not letting you see that. Uh, not a good sales approach or a good feeling. This same approach was used with us 7years ago and now I remember why we would never do business with Bretz.

I recently bought a Heartland RV trailer from Grady White. Grady was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations of the different RVs I looked at with my wife. It was a two day process and it was a pleasure to deal with someone so professional.

I cant say enough positive things about this outfit. Service hits it out of the park! Dan in service has taken the time and effort to help make our camping experience a memorable one. We purchased our trailer from Bretz RV in Nampa last year and the service was great! We especially love the one year free storage. We have only had one problem with the service department and that was that they installed a part that was more expensive than I agreed to. I discussed this with the new service manager, Jason. After a short time needed for researching the problem, Jason got back to me the same day and resolved the problem to my satisfaction. Because of Jasons quick response to my problem, Bretz RV is still worthy of 5 stars!

When we came in to look at trailers the sales staff was very friendly and down to earth. We knew what we wanted and they helped by staying focused on that. When we told them we were still shopping around, there was no pressure or high volume of phone calls to try to sway us back in. Once we decided what we wanted and came back, the deal was very quick and closed without any added pressure.The only recommendation I would give is regarding the add-on services. It wasn’t until the day of delivery that we were offered some of the protection services for the unit. Those would have been better offered at the time of sale so to be included during the prep week rather than on the day of pickup. It delayed delivery by 3 hours. For us it was just the inconvenience of having to sit around the service area for that additional time. But not all people have the flexibility we do.Overall outstanding sales and service team!!

We found a two we liked online, and visited the Nampa location, and we were greeted by Matt Smalley. Especially with being new to the trailer life, Matt described the function and fit of everything. Paperwork was simple to start, and they were understanding when I said I needed more time for my spouse to see the unit. When we came back a week later, Derrin Weaver showed us around. I came in to look at boats. Grady was very happy to greet me at the door. When he asked me to sit down to go over what type of boat and how I was going to use it, I was a bit unsure. He assured me that he wanted to make sure He didn’t miss anything I was looking for and it would help in the process. I have never seen anyone with as much knowledge on boats. My experience when purchasing my pontoon boat was one of the greatest interactions I have ever had with a salesperson. Grady was friendly and knowledgeable and definitely someone I will be working with again when looking for a boat or RV.

Incorrect information shared by sales staff parroted by finance. When questioned, solid and accurate answers were not given by the finance department or by sales. I had the chance to speak with Pat Sullivan GM of Nampa what a treat! He came in to the room with a condescending attitude and asked what the problem was. Not, “I had heard that there is an issue, help me understand”. Once I explained the issue (incorrect information which had now stuck us with doc fees that are NEGOTIABLE) $499, his immediate response was “life is negotiable” dripping condescension. When I asked again a direct question, I was given a condescending answer and then encouragement to review the presale document. In fairness, he said the words of help but then offered no solutions or apologies.What you need to know is that if you are going to do business with Bretz, expect the following, delays, a condescending attitude because you are not in the “RV” business, incorrect information and loads of human errors that if you don’t catch them you will be on the hook for the cost.I haven’t even picked up my trailer yet and I am telling you to go somewhere else. Zero customer service level. Once you have signed you are a non-factor. I wish you luck in the future As I will share with everyone the experience that I have had in only two visits with Bretz RV

Overall pretty bad experience with the sales department here. Another reviewer mentioned that they are greedy and unwilling to negotiate, they tried to discredit it by saying that was the Boise office. I can confirm that his is true of the Nampa location as well.They wouldnt negotiate price at all and insisted on pulling my credit before they would talk numbers. I know that my credit has no bearing on a discussed price before they send it to the bank. Pushy sales guy trying to get us to put a 20% down payment on a trailer and a finance manager that insisted my credit is needed in order to work a deal first should have given me the clue to walk out.I decided to put a down payment Im comfortable with, they held it for 2 weeks and then finally I see my credit get a hard pull from 1 place. They call back and say they cant get the payments at the range we discussed and are going to refund my money. So they try with 1 bank and call it quits because to make the deal happen they would have to take money off their price and/or give me more for my trade. They obviously didnt want to touch their profit margins. When we got the call back so they could ask for the card number to do the refund, we mentioned how we will end up taking our business elsewhere and his response Well, good luck with that and hung up. Im not impressed with Bretz in general and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Had a great experience at Bretz RV, it went so well we bought a top of the line fifth wheel and a new boat! Great team, they know what they are doing and they weren’t pushy, just gave us the information and we made the decision. And they don’t shotgun your credit! Very happy with the purchases and looking forward to getting on the water!

The purchase of our RV was very enjoyable and easy. The service after sale has been a nightmare. Upon purchase or AC unit was broken. It took two weeks for the service team to “fix” it only to have it break an hour into our following camping trip. I have been trying to contact the service department to get on their schedule for two weeks now with no response. If you buy a camper here, just hope it needs no repairs or maintenance…

I didnt buy from Bretts but theyre exceptional and their customer service and trying to help us out explaining everything we just found a better deal someplace else. To be totally honest it was a great camper trailer shopping experience

Have attempted to get pricing on three boats over a period of 6 months. Each boat was listed on the website, with the Click here for Summer Savings, or Best Price or... etc... We enter the information. It takes a few days for a response. only to be told each time, they didnt know, the boat wasnt available yet, or the trade in must not have happened. This is a consistent problem with them - and not just a minor mistake. It appears to be their marketing program. Also it should be notated EACH time they have attempted to steer us to a boat they had on the lot and NOT the one that was advertised as available on their lot website. We will take our money elsewhere.

These guys are the best in Boise. They will work with you On finding the best possible fit for you and what you’re looking for. Also, helpful with any sort of education you might need down the road. The service department at Bretz is always top-notch as well.👍

Wife an I looking for our first RV purchase and stopped into Bretz to see a particular model. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it wasnt the right fit for us, but working with Dennis we were able to find the perfect pre-owned RV! Dennis is super knowledgeable and made sure we were not only looking at the big picture but the small details, as well, which add up fast in the pre-owned market. Looked at a few other places in town, but none compared to the service and knowledge that we recieved from the team at Bretz!

I am 50+ years old and this is the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. They had my camper for two months. I understand being busy and delays in receiving parts. However, my frustrations was with the lack of communication. I left numerous voicemails/emails simply asking for status of repairs and never heard back from my service agent. Then, last Thursday I called the main number and asked for service. I was told that the agent I had been working with was no longer with the company. However, she assured me she would investigate and get back with me later that day. That did not happen! I called again the next afternoon about 3pm and was told camper was ready for pick up and was transferred to service and his voicemail box was full. Why was I not called?? I went to pick it up and complained about the poor communication. The agent assisting me was polite but obtuse about my frustrations and the only excuse was “we are very busy”. I asked to speak to the service manager and he said there wasn’t one. I then asked to speak to his boss and he said he had no boss. UNBELIEVABLE! I do believe the work completed was done okay but with a $189 per hour labor rate, I would expect better customer service. I will never go to Bretz RV again!

Good luck trying to order parts. Tried to order two tanks for my travel trailer, not once not twice but three times I’ve called and gave the same Information and never received a call. Called them today and was hung up on after asking to speak to a manager. I’ll be taking my business and recommendations else where.

Best place in the valley for LP gas. During the summer they charge. 99 cents a gallon. No one else comes even close. Plus they have a good parts department that isnt CW. My goto local RV parts source.

Friendly service but very little stock. It looks like they have a ton of inventory but they allow customers to store their RVs there. Its a nice benefit but quite deceiving to new customers.

Stack em deep and sell em cheap run run run away from this used rv dealer. There were dozens of things wrong with the trailer that I purchased that werent disclosed prior to them having me sign a docusign purchase agreement. When I finally got to pick up my trailer it looked like it was parted out to complete other trailers that they sold. The trailer was not sold at a discount and was very much over priced considering its condition.

I can’t find a thing to complain about. We were shown exactly what we were looking for in a travel trailer. The finance team got us better than expected financing. We brought home an absolute dream of a camper. I have every expectation that the service after the sale will meet or exceed the high bar that the sales team set.

I have been putting off my review of Bretz for a while hoping the repair to our new Sundance trailer door would be completed. We purchased our trailer from Bretz at the end of February 21, it is now almost August and our Door has still not been repaired! I have personally had to try and repair the door just so we can use our new trailer and allow the door to close!When we purchased our trailer our sales person told us how great and easy it was to get parts for the Sundance trailers since they are manufactured here in Idaho, this apparently is not true or Covid is being used as an excuse for poor service. Since February we waited months for a new power cord.I feel for anyone buying a new RV/Trailer from Bretz right now because it does not appear they have the capability to handle the necessary repairs I am sure you will have after your purchase. No matter how large or how small a repair you end up with, I believe you will be frustrated with the service you receive and unfortunately regret purchasing from them.

These guys are awesome and Chad my sales guy at the one in Nampa Idaho is always a friendly guy to talk to Hell he even text messages me just to talk about anything in life you know So I feel like theyre more of a family run business than any of these other RV sales places in our area and that means a lot to me. They have an awesome selection this is not their only store they have many other stores but theyre all family ran. Im like 50 years old and I have bought and sold lots of things over the years and these guys are very cool people. And they dont just sell you merchandise they help you research and give you honest answers about the RV experience. I dont believe the other big chains do that. Sure you can go to Bishs RV or go to Dennis Dillon RV but youre going to pay thousands over what that RV is worth. And are you really going to get your moneys worth with those big chains I dont believe so. Its like if you want to feel safe and comfortable you go home and eat food with your your family. And thats what these guys are family

Very unprofessional salesman. When we couldn’t agree on a deal, salesman threw my credit card on the table and tore up paperwork and walked away. Instead of saying thanks for coming in and sorry we couldn’t come up with a deal. Disrespected me and my wife with his unprofessional and childish behavior. Never stepping in any Bretz business ever again.

Lost all my trust in Bretz RV service department. I purchased a Tiffin motor home about 3 years ago from another dealer out of state. Since Bretz is Tiffin dealer I have used them a few times for needed service. Recently I have had a bad odor coming out of my shower drain and if I use bath sink next to shower water comes up through shower drain. I called in March to schedule service date and was given a date early April. After 9 days I called in to ask what they have found. I was told they have been backed up but they would bring into shop the next day. After another 9 days I called into service to ask status on my motor home. I called in 3 more times latter in the day but was either transferred to voice mail or simply cut off. I did leave voice mail for both service writer and service manager. After 3 days i finally went in to ask status of motor home. Was told they flushed out gray tank and found no problem. I asked about water coming back up through shower drain but they did not check that problem. I asked service writer is it still in shop and was told no back out in storage. I asked service writer did they really do anything? He said thats what he was told. I than asked to take motor home with me back home, I was handed my keys and was told they would bring it out. If they really did anything I would think #1 I would be charged for labor, no charges #2 no mats were placed on floor as it had rained a couple of days, #3 my cover was still over shower drain because of smell, #4 all sewer hoses and drains were completely dry. I just can not deal with someone I dont trust.Update: Kirk if you are really concerned I would think you might contact me. I have left messages with Bretz RV with no return calls. You have my info if you want to reach out.

So far the boat buying process has been super painless. Aaron is the man! Let me tellyou I put him through the ringer. I think I changed my mind on what boat model and even color like 6 times. He never complained and just keep showing me boats and never rushed us. We ordered our new boat last week and it was very easy. Can’t wait till it comes. Yesterday (04/01/21) I contacted Bretz’s Consignment Manager Russell Yates. I was either going to sell or put our NEVER USED LIKE NEW 2021 Avenger 27RBS up for consignment. Mr Yates was so helpful. He thoroughly explained the process of what my options were. He asked me what I wanted for my travel trailer and said he needed to check the numbers and get right back to me. About 15 minutes later he called me back with an offer that was in the ballpark of what I thought it was worth. He also told about my warranty coverage I had bought when I bought the travel trailer 6 months before and told me that I could get money back from the unused portion from my warranty company. That is over $1,500.00! I had never thought of that so with his offer and my warranty refund I will get more back than I had planned. Mr. Yates is a great person to work with. He was looking out for not only his company’s bottom line but mine too. I highly recommend Mr Russell Yates.

We had a great experience with Bretz that ended up with us buying a new 28 foot travel trailer from them. Heres how it went down. First, we attended a local RV show where Bretz and two other sellers were in attendance. We have friends that bought from Bretz a year ago gave us a contact to ask for when we got there. Her name is Chanel Wallace. I asked for her and told her we wanted to look at some bunkhouse style trailers. We spent around 2 hours working with Chanel and a technical person, talking about every detail under the sun. We looked at several trailers at the show. I wanted some sit down time with my family to discuss our plans. They wanted to sit down with us, which ruffled my feathers some because I wont make a decision without talking with my wife privately and looking at all the options. So, I asked that my family walk the show a little more. Which we did. After looking around some more, it was dinner time. I tried to find Chanel to thank her for her time and let her know we were leaving. I was not able to find her.The next day we decided to visit some RV dealers on their lots. We started at Camping World where we looked through several trailers. None of them were of the quality we were looking for, so we left. Next, we went to the Bretz lot in Nampa, ID. There, one of their awesome team members trudged us around in the snow for 2 hours, showing us at least another 6-8 trailers. Finally, we found the perfect unit! The layout, the quality, and a brand that we felt good about buying. With all of us freezing and wet, we went inside to work on the purchase. There was no pressure and the details made sense to everyone. - I pick up our new trailer next week, when we get the training and walk through to make sure its all ready to go. Bretz did a great job of making my wife and I feel like our care-abouts were important to them too. I am new to buying an RV. I would recommend them to anyone shopping for an RV.

We purchased a new Grand Design Reflection 5th wheel from Bretz in Nampa in May of 2019. Also included in the purchase was an extended warranty contract. Fast forward to March of 2021. During the last leg of a two month trip a wheel bearing failed. Entire wheel, tire and brake assembly came off the RV. After numerous phone calls no company would help cover the repairs (approx $2,800), not the manufacturer, extended warranty company, RV insurance or axle manufacturer. Bretz Dealership was willing to assist with cost of repairs. Hats off to Shane our service advisor and Clyde the service manager for going the extra mile!! Most reassuring that a dealership was willing to stand behind a product when no one else would.I cant recommend this dealership highly enough.My compliments to Bretz RV and Marine of Nampa, Idaho

Bought 10 year old Carson Rebel Travel Trailer sight unseen, I am in Utah and the trailer was in Nampa ID. Taylor, the salesman, answered all 50 of my questions and sent pictures. Was a good experience overall.One thing I would do different is to stipulate that the bearings be repacked before final purchase. Towed it home over 300 miles without knowing the condition of the bearings. Checked when I got home, all 4 seals had failed coating the brake shoes with grease. My bad for not asking, is 10 years old after all.

We purchased a slightly used bumper pull from these guys. Pulled it out to the RV park we intended to stay at and found out we had no hot water and shortly after that, discovered a grey tank was leaking. I called up Bretz and explained what was going on, took the trailer down and Dan in service got us in right away. We had the trailer back in a few days and everything works great! Definitely a great experience. Dan, and the rest of the people we dealt with (tech, salesmen, etc.) were all great. Glad we bought from Bretz.

I’m having a hard time finding anything good about this place, we bought a brand new boat then another salesman took the spare seats out of our bought and paid for boat to put them in another boat for another customer. After that took us several months to get anybody to reply and get our replacement ordered. There service is slow and unreliable, customer service has not been part of my experiences!

Walked in to the RV show this past weekend at Expo Idaho, we were greeted by Scott and Collin from Bretz RV and Marine, these guys are great, the RV we were looking for was not at the show, what impressed me the most was the fact that they did not try to convince us to buy a unit that was on the show floor, they realized that we had our hearts set on a specific RV.Collin suggested that we should order the unit we wanted that way we would get a custom unit with all the options that were important to us, after going through all the available options we were able to negotiate a fair price.The whole process took less than 3 hours, which made me very happy, everyone involved in the process was great, Collin worked hard to get us a good deal.Hopefully the delivery process and the after the sale service will be equally as good as the buying process.*************Update 10/08/2021*************On July 29th we received a call from the sales manager @ Bretz RV in Nampa to inform us that our coach had finally arrived, needless to say we were elated, he advised us that they needed a week so they could go through the coach ( pre-delivery inspection) we scheduled a pickup date on August 5th, that gave them 5 full days to do the PDI.On the 5th, we arrived at 09:15, our intention was to do our own PDI, we found a great checklist online, We were well prepared, I had a creeper so I could check the under carriage, flashlight, electrical tester, cup and water to check the microwave. We wanted to do our PDI before we signed all the paperwork, however we were told we had to see the finance officer FIRST!I should have insisted that we do our PDI first, but I gave in, as we expected we were offered several extended warranties totaling almost $10,000, we were given the hard sell, and were able to negotiate a lower price on the warranties. This process took well over an hour.Next we were assigned to a salesman to go through the coach in order to teach us everything we needed to know about the coach,I am not sure if he was an RV salesman or a salesman in the parts department, and as we anticipated, this person had little knowledge of the workings of our particular motorhome, as we were going through the coach we found several issues, issues that should have been resolved during their initial PDI, at that point I realized that they did not do a PDI, from what I could see all they did was wash the motorhome and apply several “Bretz RV” stickers on our NEW coach.I have since canceled the extended warranty that we purchased through the dealership. They ordered several parts from Tiffin in August, we have not heard anything from them since. We were never contacted by Bretz RV managementto apologize or explain why our transaction was so botched from day one.My new rating for BRETZ RV AND MARINE in Nampa, ID is 3 out of 10

Good selection of merchandise helpful people

I had Bretz install a backup camera on my trailer and they stayed tell after closing so I could pick it up I got home and it didn’t work. A little upset I called the next day and they just come in they will take care of it again a service man named Dan trouble shot the problem and it was my trucks fuse. He went and grabbed a fuse installed it all at closing and really took care of me. The install was good the fact that he check my truck and everything to make sure I left happy is huge for me thank you Dan.

It took some time to get the issues worked out, but Clyde in the service department stepped up to the plate and rectified the situation and made things right. I appreciate the honesty and integrity . I recommend Bretz Rv.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They transported us around on a golf cart and never pressured us to buy. Team member Tee was a hard working informative associate. Im extremely pleased with this dealership and their prices are very competitive. Definitely feel like it was worth it to drive 200 miles to purchase there.

When I was in last time they told me that they would fail 100 pound propane bottles. So when I came in I chose to have my 100 pound filled rather than my small tanks. Just to be informed that they do not feel 100 pound. It would be great if they were informed enough to know what was going on so I didnt waste a 2 hour round trip for nothing

We first learned about Bretz at an RV show they put on at the village. It was the first show we went to where we werent followed around by a sales person. Youre allowed to just wander and explore the trailers. There is always someone waiting to answer questions but they arent actively trying to sell. Sounds counter intuitive but I think they know how to spot the looky loos like us and just let the whole RV thing simmer until were ready. Or maybe Im projecting, but that was our experience at each show. And we went to each one over the last 2 years. These shows ultimately lead to us visiting Bretz and buying our first travel trailer. Over the last 2 years we had gone back and forth on getting an RV. Our big hurdle was storage but 2nd to that was size. Family of 5 + dog fills out a trailer pretty fast. This meant we wanted something big, but not too big because my tow vehicle is only a half ton. Brian met us and read our minds. Showed us exactly what would meet our needs within our budget. The trailer we bought was the first one wed been in that really clicked. Well, clicked with my wife, but hey, thats all that matters. Im not kidding when I say weve been in over a hundred trailers and RVs. The whole process was really smooth. No high pressure sales. Pickup came and the trailer was parked and ready. Be prepared for about 4 hours when you pickup, most of that is walking through everything about the trailer and learning to hitch up. This is a good thing. (Get a babysitter if you have kids). They also do a really good job making the trailer shiny, polishing the tires and vacuuming the beds. Youll also get a set of tupperware and we had a couple stuffies for the kids. Really great advice as well (were new to actually owning a trailer vs looking at them). Braedan taught us everything wed need to know and then some. Rob (?, sorry if I got that wrong) showed us how to hitch and work the brake controller. Literally my first time towing with my truck, super green. But the drive home was smooth. And about that storage hurdle, free storage for a year there. Seriously great experience. Like I said, wed been through a lot or RVs and several dealers and shows. Bretz is hands down the best. We named the trailer Portkey.

Spoke with Aaron about a suntracker pontoon boat. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Have to wait to buy the boat but will buy it there.

I emailed Bretz about a particular trailer on a Sunday morning. Although my local locations are closed on Sunday, a rep from an out of state location texted and called within minutes. She was very informative and connected me with a local sales rep the following morning. The out of state rep followed up throughout the purchasing process. Our local sales rep was very helpful and patient. He met us a few times to see various units and helped us gather information. The entire process went well and the service was great throughout.

Awesome place. Even though they have been extremely busy they still found the time to help and answer all our questions. Brian Kraus was our salesman and he went above and beyond for us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Definitely recommend this place and we will be purchasing from them again

We just bought a beautiful Grand design Reflection fifth wheel from an incrediblely deligent and knowledgeable young man by the name of Tee.He spent several hours over several days showing us everything we were interested in in two different locations.Our decision to purchase from BretzIs largely because of Tee.We did do our research however on the quality and amenities of Grand design and were impressed with what we found.Elly
