I had an issue with my KIA. Nampa KIA was the only car place to help in a 3 state radius. I was driving in 105 degree temperatures without AC for 4 hours. Calling every KIA shop. They were great and they had me on road without 30 minutes and no charge! I talked with the service manager and told him that they had the greatest personnel working for him. I live in Washington State and they are in Idaho. I wish I could have them service my car!!! Thank you!!

The purchase process was very streamlined and options are explained thoroughly and without pressure, which is something that I was truly not expecting compared to other dealerships.My K5 was later serviced for warranty work and general maintenance very thoroughly and the Kia warranty work was performed exceptionally well. Nathen in finance was also GREAT! He got us the most amazing interest rate. They follow up many times to make sure all is well, and get back to you immediately if you have a concern. Long wait (3 hours) for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, but they did comp some of my bill for that. The desk person was very helpful in showing options and prices for new tire installation. They have also always been honest if I can get the part cheaper at a parts store.

I have had my car sitting at the Kia nampa dealership for 3 weeks now and they still have not checked it. It shut off and just randomly stopped working. I remember a recall I received in the mail months ago about this exact problem, and since I keep up maintenance with my car, I’m 99% sure it is the recall. Not to mention when I dropped it off at the dealership they seemed to already know what happened to the car before I even had to explain. Well that is my only car. I haven’t had it for 3 weeks! Sharon is the one we are “working” with and she says they have no loaner cars for me to use while they work on it. They also won’t pay for a rental car for me since they have not diagnosed it yet. It has been 3 WEEKS AND THEY HAVE NOT EVEN LOOKED AT IT YET!!! Every time I call they say I’m next in line and then a week goes by I call again after the weekend and they say the same thing over and over. I’m stuck relying on them and they have proven to be completely unreliable. I don’t even know what to do anymore. I’m beyond frustrated. Sharon won’t even accept my phone calls anymore. She just gives me the run around. All I’m asking is for the mechanic to just look at it so I can go get a rental. That’s all I need. They can’t even tell me when that will happen. It’s ridiculous. I don’t even know what to say or do anymore. All I know is I have NOTHING good to say about them anymore.

Everyone was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I am very happy with my Kia Carnival. Never would I have dreamed of driving a mini-van. I’ve always had an SUV. The car doesn’t feel like a van nor look like one. Worst dealership experience since moving to the treasure valley. Drove 45 minutes for my service appointment. Was told they couldn’t do service today and tried to call me multiple times to let me know. I received no voicemail or missed calls. I believe the rep wasn’t being honest with me. I have heard nothing from the service manager contrary to the dealerships response. Speaks volumes when you have to turn to Hyundai because your local Kia dealership is unresponsive.

Well I would like to start this by saying that this is an on going review. To start my Kia engine stops working in the middle of the freeway. This being a worsts case scenario I was able to pull the car over safely. I remembered that there was a recall for engine issue. I had it towed to the dealership and was told kia is closed on Saturday. I called Monday and was told it was going to take 1 to 2 weeks. Sadly it seems that it will take more like 3 weeks. This puts me in a bad situation. This being the only form of transportation it has put strain on my daily life to get to and from work and move my Family around. I was told they don’t have any vehicles I can borrow and that kia will pay for a rental if it falls under warranty for the recall. I can only get the rental if it us under the warranty. The only way to find out is if it get inspected. So I have no reliable transportation until I it get inspected. This has been frustrating to say the least. I have done my oil changes and stayed on top of maintenance. I hope this get resolved ASAP. Will update if anything changes.

The reason for my appointment was a software upgrade from KIA. Since I live three hours from Nampa, yet this is my closest dealership, I decided to have a regular service as well. That revealed my front brakes were perilously worn. Kendall KIA was efficient in getting those replaced and still getting me on the road home well before dark.The service is professional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was explained. I’m grateful for the service.

I purchased my vehicle from this location and they were great everything went smooth. The reason for the low rating is due to the service department. I needed to schedule my first oil change which I called in and made an appointment. While on the phone they mentioned that it would take 1 1/2 hours for the service and if I was planning on using their shuttle. I wasn’t familiar with it so they let me know that they were able to drop me off and pick me up anywhere within a 25 mile radius. I asked him to double check on whether they would drop me off all the way in Boise and he said that they would. Well when I got there to drop off my car I kept getting told different things and ultimately I felt that they were unwilling to drop me off because I lived out in Boise and it would be an inconvenience to them. I ended up staying because they mentioned that it wouldn’t take long but they still took 1 1/2 hours to get my car back from them, if I would of known I would of just canceled my appointment.

I recently bought a 2022 Kia K5. Right off the bat I had a noise from the console when driving. I made an appointment with service and dropped my car off. After two days of not hearing from the service department, I reached out. No answer from the service department. I must of called 8 times, always being transferred from the main receptionis and never getting anyone to pick up the phone. Finally on day three the main receptionist walked over, found out my car was ready and got my keys. I picked it up from her. Now although the noise is gone I have fabric hanging out of my console and a nice scratch new scratch on the console. I have called. I have chatted. I have been promised the area GM will be in contact. Nothing.Worst service department ever...

Had to go in for a recall on my kia, and Tanner Oswald was my advisor, he was so helpful and got us in and out so quick and was willing to check on us for what would be faster and more time efficient for us to wait around or take a shuttle. We also looked around at many cars and had such nice salesman to help us! Being that I live 3 hours away, it is challenging to have service done sometimes. When that deer jumped in front of me last fall, it was in between weather storms that I could get my car in for repairs. Then, when returned, and once discovered that additional sensor issues were happening, service and Tanner were able to get my problem resolved finally. And due to my late arrival, Tanner went out of his way to make sure I could get my car safely. Service doesnt hold the same meaning as it did a few years ago, but here they sure try to provide their best. It is very much appreciated!!

I did not have a good experience at all at this location. The service manager Darrell was completely disrespectful on the phone to me and this location failed to resolve the issue two separate times. They continued to tell me to replace my battery after I had already replaced it 2 times previously within a year, with one of those being within the last 4 months. We drove my car off the lot and went directly to a Les Schwab where they tested the battery and said it was completely fine with no issues. I would not recommend this location or its services to anyone. This experience confirmed for me that I will never be taking a vehicle back here or recommending this place to anyone else. They were disorganized in communication throughout the entire process, it took over 5 hours and me calling back in 3 separate times to finally receive a callback about the status on my car. They also said the solution to my problems with Bluetooth and connectivity would be fixed with a software update on my phone which was incorrect and felt like they were trying to rush through the issue without truly fixing it. Highly dissatisfied. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I bought a Kia from Kendall about 4 years ago and if my car buying experience wasn’t hell to begin with, I bought an extended warranty through Kia that requires me to get my car serviced through Kia or else it voids the warranty. Recently I was stranded in California due to my car needing a computer update that Kendall failed to inform me about causing my check engine light to come on putting my car in limp mode. Between a tow and hotels and Ubers and a necessary oil change after Kendall screwed up my last oil change causing a leak, I spent almost $1000 and lost two days of work. To top it off, the extended warranty I purchased does not cover anything dealing with computer updates as it’s the service centers responsibility to take care of those. So now I am out $1000 over something that was completely out of my control all because the dealership didn’t even so much as notify me of a computer update. My advice would be not to buy a Kia and especially not to buy one from Kendall

To say I had a completely satisfying experience wouldnt do their service justice... I worked with Louie and DJ and both men were entirely transparent and helped pick out the PERFECT vehicle for me without me feeling like I was getting ripped off.My husband and I had a terrible experience with a prior dealership and ended up paying TWICE the amount they promised us (we were young and dumb). We were hesitant to go to another dealership after that experience but were pleasantly surprised with Kendall. These guys worked with us to make sure we werent buying too much car and kept it in our budget. I cant say enough good things about the dealership and salesmen that we worked with. **updated review ** From 1 star to 5. I was initially having a very frustrating experience with my vehicle and extended warranty among other small issues. During the entire process every Kendall/KIA employee have been nice and professional. My problem was eventually completely handled by the Dealership. From The service desk to the General manager Norm, everyone has been helpful. Norm stepped in and ensured my vehicle and I where completely taken care of, ultimately they didnt have to! I will definitely return to Kendall in the future knowing they will step up and take care of their customers at any expense. If your having problems with your service at kendall make sure you take the time to talk with them, ultimately I believe they will do everything possible and then some to take care of you. They deserve Minus 10. I turned in my 2017 leased Kia Sorento on 2/18/2020 and purchased a new Kia Sportage. I asked if I could turn in my leased car 2 months early. Kendall assured me even though my lease end was April 1,2020, they would pay off the car and take care of everything because I was purchasing a new Kia from them. June 2020 My credit score dropped 70 points because Kendall Kia was late with last payment due April 1, 2020. Since June 2020, I have been trying to have Kia remove the late payment affecting my credit. I have made numerous calls since June. 3 weeks ago I finally had someone address me. Manager Mark Gonzales told me They are sorry, it was Kias fault. I did turn in the vehicle in Feb. Mark told me he called Transunion and he could not fix it. Mark told me, I needed to submit a credit dispute through Transunion which I did on August 27, 2020. Sept 14, 2020 I called Transunion for an update and was told Kia must fix it on their end. I have left 3 phone messages for Manager Mark Gonzales since 9/14/20 and nothing.Today Kia Finance called to inform me the car was never recorded as being turned in to Kia..... by Kendall Kia and now they are going after me.I faxed Kia Motors the Lease Return and Odometer statement from 2/18/2020 when I turned in the vehicle, but they told me they would need Kendall Kia to record the vehicle as being returned.Trying to get Kendall Kia to HELP ME and do the right thing and fix this!Update 9/17/20 5 pm. Norm at Kendall Kia called me and is working on fixing this tomorrow.10/2/2020 Kendall Kia informed Main Office leased car was returned to them 2/18/20 and in their possession.Update 10/5/2020 Received letter from TransUnion regarding my dispute. Kia has removed the 4/1/20 late payment that I was not responsible for and my credit score has increased.Thank-you Norm.

Service department is running a lot more efficient lately. Oil changes and safety inspection process is going quicker with less wait time. I always take my car here for oil changes and tire rotation. Only hickup is when you bring it for an oil change/safety inspection that is all the technician can do. Bummer is you need a separate appointment to have another type of technician look at any other issues say to check freon levels in your AC. Otherwise I am happy with the quick and courteous service we always receive.

Chris and DJ were amazing people. I called and then went in to check out a vehicle and trade in my truck. These guys didn’t push me into anything and gave me all the information I needed to get into a new vehicle. DJ helped me unpack my truck and helped me load up my new 2018 Kia Optima so I can get on the road. And the next day Chris called to make sure we made it safe and how I liked the new Kia Optima. I was so frustrated. driving my 2016 Optima home from work I got a flashing check engine light and a message to contact the nearest KIA service center. I called and was left on hold, (I guess they have an offsite call center) Finally got through and didnt get much help, so I drove to the Kendall KIA service department in Nampa. There was a young man at the desk, he said what I didnt want to hear, our service department is swamped and they were 4 weeks out. Im now getting a bit more agitated. I have full coverage warranty on this car. He finally said hold on and I will let you talk to April.So April was very nice, had me fill out a form with what was wrong, told me she would to everything in her power to get this remedied. This was around 6:00 PM. I left my car there and that evening I texted my salesman Scott Larsen. Told him what happened and asked him to help if possible, he texted me back Will do.The next morning I get a call from April to say that Enterprise Rental will be giving me a call to get me a car. On 7/11/20 we (spouse) purchased a new 2020 Kia Sportage. I have no current issues with the Kia and I thought the new purchase went well, that is until today. During the finance negotiations that went back and forth several times for approval, the salesman and financial person at the dealership repeatedly informed us that our new car loan would be financed by Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU). We signed documents and brought the car home. Its been two weeks and I have not heard from ICCU and today I received a letter and welcome packet from a bank called Ally Financial. A bank I have never heard of and we were not advised that this bank would be financing our loan. We were told multiple times that ICCU was taking the loan. I then checked yellow paperwork Retail Installment Sale Contract. At the bottom on the very long document, second to last line is the name Ally Financial. We were misled and we would not have purchased this car if we had known the loan was with Ally Financial.

I had probably the best auto purchase experience I have had buying a Kia Soul . My salesperson, Chris Sanford was knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, and efficient. I hope anyone reading this will find him if they are buying from Kendall.Now, that said, they advertise that there is no sales commission so I asked how sales people were compensated. The answer was a payment for selling the car, and a payment for getting a good review. I expected to get one of those question emails that are so popular but instead got an email inviting me to comment on my experience to one of these popular sites but they only provided a link to this one. I did not have a google account but since I wanted Chris to get his second payment, I made one. To me this seems to be a cynical way to minimize the number of responses they get so sales costs are lower. People dont have google accounts, many dont want to go public and it requires more steps than a direct poll. I hope Kendall starts are more equitable means of reviewing a sale. I want them to know, mine was just fine.Thanks,

My experience with Kendall Kia of Nampa actually has two stages to it, our Pre purchase of vehicle and our Post purchase of vehicle, we purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride. So, our Pre purchase of our vehicle went like any other vehicle purchase that we have done in the past, the dealership is very nice to us (Customer) although we did have one thing told to us that later was not true! We were told that the vehicle we purchased would have floor matts, then a few days later after we said we would purchase the vehicle we were told that unfortunately floor matts were not included, in my opinion if you answer that floor matts are included then they should be included! So, besides the floor matt issue, it went as well as any other experiences that we have had at other dealers.Our Post purchase of vehicle experience, after we paid our down payment money to them, havent heard anything from them! I even contacted them on a question regarding a letter we received from them, after initial communication on the issue havent heard anything. So, our experience on purchasing a vehicle from Kendall Kia of Nampa was nothing great its been a typical puchase like we have encountered through any other dealership.

I would recommend Kendall to anyone looking to buy a car. The salesmen that I worked with exhibited exemplary service and worked hard to ensure I got exactly what I wanted from a car. They were not at all pushy to make a sale, and were supportive of all my choices, including my decision to compare prices at other dealerships before making a final decision. They were knowledgeable of their inventory and able to provide suggestions of what car might work for my needs, and worked especially hard to get approval for a low interest rate. After purchasing the car they filled my tank with gas, washed the car, and gave me a detailed overview of all the features of the car, being sure to answer all of my questions.

My first service completed. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with such friendly employees. Paperwork was simple, waiting room was incredible - comfortable seating, TV, coffee, tea, sodas, and cookies for all who wanted them. Wait time was short and after payment I was walked out to my car which had been through a car wash. And my car runs as smoothly as the first that I had got it. I had to buy a used car on a budget, and the only one I could find that also fit my needs was a 5+ hour drive from my town. I liked that Kendall put up about 19 photos of the car I ended up going with...were as a lot of dealers put up only about 3 to 10 photos of their used cars. Having more photos helped me narrow down the car I wanted to buy...as did getting a free Car Fax report.The sales rep, Doug, who sold me that car when I got to Nampa... he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car, and treated me like I was buying a new car rather than a low priced used car. He always responded to my emails quickly and he was great to work with, once I drove to Nampa to buy the car.In the past I have run into sales reps who treated those buying high end cars much better than they treated those who didnt have much to spend on a car. So it was nice being treated like a valued customer, even though my budget was on the low side of things. The 11 year old car I bought made the 5+ hour trip back home without a hitch and Ive been happy with my purchase.

Friendly competent front desk. Vehicle serviced in time promised. Crossbars added in separate appointment, but both done during same visit. Shuttle drop off and pickup, a nice extra. Appreciated the car having been washed.
