We somehow ended up with a dead battery in our new (to us, its a 2018) Subaru Outback. I called AAA, and they said someone would be out by 9:50PM. Shortly after that, we got the update that someone would arrive at 8:39, so we were happy. Then, Clay from Country Repair & Towing pulls up at EXACTLY 8:39. Perfectly on time, professional, and friendly. What more could I ask for.Well, the other thing I guess I could ask for would be for our problem to be resolved before my wife/son drove to Montana the following day.Great news again! After testing the battery and determining it was dead, Clay quickly replaced it with a new one he had on the truck.Thanks Clay!

This company needs to educate their drivers on how to safely drive. Driving down highway 55 they cutoff two trucks, one pulling a camping trailer, in a one way passing lane. This is extremely dangerous after the numerous amount of car accidents on this road.

Car died, and failed to start the other morning. Called AAA, and they sent out their Roadside Service team, and it was Country Repair. Clay came to the house right on time, gave me a heads up about 15 minutes before getting here, and arrived on time. Clay did a great job looking over the battery, checking it with the meters, and giving a diagnosis. Although the old battery may have had a little life left, in the cold weather, it didnt seem worth it to me to go to Dealer and fight for a pro-rated battery replacement of sub-standard quality. I went with the AAA battery (fixed on the spot) with its good warranty. Clay did a great job explaining what he was doing, what the results were, and what my options were. It starts like a charm now. He made my life so much easier, and I think it the long run, Ill do better with the AAA battery rather than yet another poor dealer battery. Thanks CR and Clay! Excellent job!

I was very pleased with the professional and courteous service given to me by Cody. I remember how on January 19th, 2021, I had called CT&R, and they sent Cody, and he jump-started my Jeep and gave me good info about it. I needed more than a jump-start; I needed to know if my vehicle had a battery or alternator problem, and I was relieved to know the issue when Cody checked the energy gauges. He also screwed in the fan filter which was loose and I hadnt been able to figure out the right screwdriver size before that. I appreciated Codys calm/ing demeanor at a time when I was super-anxious about my Jeep not starting. I was also glad that Country Towing and Repair was available 24/7 for when I was SOOL.

Very disappointed in how my Aunt who is 80+ was treated yesterday by this driver. She had set up with dealership as well as AAA to have her vehicle towed their. She was broke down on Freeway and I came and got her and took her to the dealership. All were expecting her vehicle to arrive. We waited for Two hours at the dealership to receive the text to meet the driver at the location her car was at. We gave him the details when he got her car loaded of where he was supposed to drop it and he refused to take said they would not accept it and argued and made us follow him to a different location. She called AAA as we were following him and they said they told him to take it to the dealership. My aunt called driver and he hung up on her after again refusing to take it where it was arranged.when we arrived at the location he said it had to go he said if we took it to the dealership it would have to be towed back we’re we were. I told him to take it to the dealership and we would deal with it. He took it to the dealership the service writer was there and he started arguing with her and my aunt. I got out of the car and told him to go unload it where the service writer said to. He did unload her vehicle and we turned the keys into the service writer and left. When I called the emergency number and got ahold of dispatch to let him know what had happened. He was as rude as the driver saying they weren’t supposed to tow vehicles to that dealership and continued to be rude. What customer service after being broke down waiting for 2 hours then having them not do what was asked following. Then just to go back to where we had requested it be taken. On top everything to be so rude and disrespectful to my aunt and all involved.I’m planning to reach out to owner as I want him to be aware of the situation.

Thank you Country Repair &Towing for a quick and professional rescue! We broke an upper ball joint on our Toyota FJ on a hill near the Succor Creek Natural Area east of Lake Owyhee. By some miracle we broke down in a place with cell service.  Country Repair & Towing assessed our situation and put together a plan.  They brought out a flatbed and pickup to our remote location ready to deal with all contingencies.  After getting the FJ loaded they took us back to camp, hitched up our tent trailer and brought it back to thier shop too.   Everyone we dealt with at Country Repair was kind and helpful as we worked through the logistics of a place to stay,  getting home, and figuring out a repair plan. They went above and beyond to make a complicated situation much easier and for a fair and reasonable price.

Emergency response to a newer locked vehicle. Very quick response time, The tech/Clay quickly assessed the situation and knew immediately the remedy. What we thought would be major issue turned out to be no more than a 10 minute total fix, with no pressure to sell us additional parts or services. Extremely satisfied.

Been giving them work for over 4 years and usually dealt with Tanya. Last I called 2 days ago, I spoke to Stacy. She had no idea who I was and that I have been using them for a while. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but while talking to her I felt like I was investigated by the FBI….. asking me if I own the vehicle, if my name is on the title…It seemed very weird as I was never asked that before and especially since they should know a bit about me giving them work and I also told her the car is mine and going to a repair shop.Last tow I dealt with the owner who seemed really nice and said he was going to put something in the system to get a better rate since I use them on a regular basis.When mentioned to her, she acted very stingy.Anyways, I will look for a different company that I can establish a relationship with for the future.

Clay was about an hour earlier then Triple A quoted me, which was great! He waited for me to get an Uber over to where my Jeep was. He was quick, professional and very nice. Followed me to Les Schwab so they could run a test on the battery again. I’m home now and my Jeep is home too! Thanks Clay!

The day after Christmas I went to get into my car only to see that I had left the door ajar for two days. Needless to say--my battery was dead. I called Triple AAA and Clay from Country Repair showed up literally within 20 minutes. He tested my battery and advised me that while it was charged, it would not last, which totally made sense since I had it for a few years. He installed a new a battery on the spot! My car started like a dream. I really appreciate Clay coming out so fast, especially the day after Christmas. Great customer service! Clay was great. What he doesnt know is that I was on my way to get some Carls Junior burgers for my dog, who is dying, and that is the only way I could get her to eat so I could give her a pill. Today while foolishly thinking I had enough gas to get to at least a gas station, I ran out of gas in the middle of the road and Andrew was miraculously behind me and once I was pushed off the road by some kind kind strangers, he got me some gas in my tank and made sure I got her running again. I called AAA for a tow and one of their trucks was dispatched. Driver was on time and very friendly. Towed it to my house and dropped the car in my garage professionally. Great service.

If I could put zero stars I would. No communication at all about the status on my truck until I called a week and a half later. Paid $1500 for the check engine light to come on the next day. No communication for another week until I called. Threw in a part without saying anything until he called me and told me my truck was done and expects me to pay for the $150 part with no labor cost. They took my truck home for the test drive. Horrible customer service. Wouldnt recommend for any repair jobs!

My car wouldnt start so I called AAA and they sent Clay out. He was there on time and told me within minutes that I needed a new battery. My car is still under warranty so I wanted to see if the dealer could switch it out for free. Turns out they could not and they wanted to charge me even more than Clay had quoted me. Clay came BACK out the next day and switched my battery for me in under 15 minutes. He is great at his job and such a nice guy!

I had reached out to AAA with a flat tire in the beginning of this month. AAA initially told me it would be about an hour before someone could come out to help me. Within maybe 30 minutes I had Clay show up! He was friendly and a fellow hockey fan. He swapped my tire to the spare in the blink of an eye! Courteous, friendly and speedy just what I needed on a day that started off as a bummer!

We have an F350 Diesel pickup that over a 2 year period would randomly not start. A couple of times we were out in the middle of nowhere and it was a little scary. Each time this happened we took it to a different experienced diesel mechanic and with parts replaced thought it was fixed. I really appreciated that they gave me a rental car for free but it was hard to get anyone to call me back about scheduling. When my husband called to check and see if they had an opening they said they already put $75 into it and were still figuring out why my truck wouldnt start. They got it fixed quickly but the communication wasnt good.

From a recent experience, we highly recommend Country Repair and Towing should you find yourself in need of a tow. We had to call AAA after our car broke down about 15 miles north of Idaho City. Lucky for us, Country Repair was the company who responded to their call. I had just received some bad news at the veterinary office when I went out to my car to leave and it wouldnt start. I called AAA to have someone come out and they sent Country Repair & Towing. It took awhile for someone to come so I was beginning to lose my patience and get frustrated (it was a bad day that just kept getting worse it seemed) when the truck finally pulled up. As soon as the repairman got out of the car he directly went to work on the problem. Clay was very knowledgeable about car batteries and Subarus in particular. We chatted for a minute while the battery was charging and we swapped bad day stories, mine with the sad news and battery dying, and him with being non-stop busy since 6am (it was 6pm at the time). Even though he had to have been tired from a very busy day, he was still friendly and efficient, without rushing to get through it, and got me on my way in less than 15 minutes. I cant speak for the company directly since I called through AAA, but if Clay is any indication of their employees than they are doing something right!! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!
