I will be doing all of my service here from now on and I recommend anyone with a European car to do the same! I brought my Audi s4 in because it was leaking oil. I walked in without a scheduled appointment and had my car on a lift in less than 2 minutes. They even showed me where exactly the leak was coming from and fixed the issue. Amazing work and very professional!
I pulled into the parking lot without an appointment. I was immediately greeted the second i walked in the door. I let them know my car was leaking oil and needed to know where from. My Audi was up on the lift within 5 minutes, free of charge. They even let me into the shop to see for myself! Great customer service!
Had an issue and now its resolved. Thanks Brian.
Did what I asked, better price than they estimated. Would recommend for your German auto needs...
I brought my classic bug in for a motor swap and was quoted $300, and some change. I ended up paying $1100+ for the job despite the original quote.Apparently there were some issues that occurred during the process of swapping the motor. My brakes had frozen up while on the lift (have you ever heard of such a thing) and some wire issues (that are explainable). I had specifically asked in the beginning to ensure that the gas gauge was working but this was either overlooked or ignored. The detailed bill itself was very vague. After $1100+ payment I ended up having to haul the car home. And, the car then began to leak oil which it never had before. Shortly, after I took the car to somebody else, who remedied the issues caused by European Motorsport. So, I drove a car there that ended up having to be towed home? Not what I was expecting. They ignored all complaints about overlooking the gas gauge and blew it off.I was told the car would be ready on a specific day. After waiting around all day the car never was done and I had to find a ride home and then come back to tow it another day.I cannot recommend this company nor will I use them again in the future.
Had my Audi brakes done. Was quick. Did a great job. Staff was great to work with. Reasonable prices. Thanks! Would use them again for sure!
DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. I would give 0 stars if I could. When my son went to pick up his Mercedes they wanted him to pay over double what was quoted originally. He was quoted $300 when he went to pick it up it was $700. When I went down there to tell him it was unacceptable we still ended up paying around $600. Also they wont tell you this but estimates are not free, theyre a $135. If you do not pay the $135 they will hold your car until you do. Even if any of that was not an issue. The attitude and arrogance alone is enough not to go, I was probably hung up on 3 times just calling about the car.
Great service. Good people to dral with . Thanks
The owner was a very nice man. I took my 2004 Porsche Boxster S in because of a ticking sound in the engine. I got a call the next day saying I had “Crank Shaft Walk” and that the engine was unrepairable. Luckily for for the car was under warranty so the dealership I bought it from toed the car to a Porsche dealership. They reviewed and told me not only was the crankshaft just fine, and the was nothing wrong with the engine at all. The problem was from a broken weld on the exhaust and a piece of the exhaust system loose. That was what the ticking was. This was a $600 repair the the vehicle is fine. The Guys at European Motor sports wanted me to buy a used engine and pay for it to be swapped out. That is a repair bill of over $8,000. Unethical and abuse of mechanical power.
The guys that work here are awesome. Thanks for helping me out!
I took my 2008 Audi A5 to their shop for some work. It came out feeling like brand new it was pretty pricy but that’s what I get for getting a foreign. Over all it’s a great shop I’ll be taking my car back for any sort maintenance I highly recommend this shop
If you are looking for a place to take your car, come here. They are honest, nice, knowledgeable and got my car fixed right away. I will be coming back again and using them permanently for service on my BMW.
We brought our 05 BMW 528i in for a shimmy when the brakes were applied. The shop was messy but the they offered to look at the car for no charge. after driving with the mechanic, they put it up on the rack and showed me the bushings and tie rods needed to be replaced. This a common with BMWs of this age. $1200 later, they completed the repairs in 1 day, showed me the old parts when I requested, and the vehicle runs like butter! Thanks Hans! Im headed back there for a service engine light issue.
Hans and his son are great!!! I go only here and refer everyone with European cars to go here. Very honest and helpful!! Good pricing!
Friendly professional staff. Hans is the owner. Took my car in for the mandatory emissions test. It was quick.Easy access to location. If you have a foreign made vehicle, I recommend you take your vehicle in for all your vehicle maintenance needs.
Amazing service...staff was friendly, patient and understanding. Quickly took care of my repair and were extremely fair. 10/10 would highly recommend them to anyone.
I walked in as a complete stranger, not knowing what to expect, and I was treated well and with respect as soon as I walked in. They diagnosed and fixed it just like they said they would. To my shame, I caused another problem myself, and I sheepishly went back, and they fixed it again without giving me a deserved reprimand. I will be back, and I hightly recommend. Thank you Hans and Brian. Jon B
Very helpful and knowledgeable
I used to get parts from the dealer, not any longer no more waiting for parts from Germany I have learned so much about my car from hans and Brian so happy I found this shop
Very knowledgeable staff!! The car was previously misdiagnosed. Brian and his staff had me back on the road and I didn’t have to sell the car.
No Volvo on this one, but otherwise great.
Had a clutch repair and service done on my Maserati GranSport and was very happy with both the job and with how knowledgeable Hans and the rest of his staff were.
Wonderful friendly team, that clearly cares about their customers and their cars. Knowledgeable and goes the extra step. Highly recommended!
We took our 928 to them for some mechanical work and interior repair. They did a fantastic job, Brian, Ramon and Hans are a wonderful group of guys. Thank you for taking such good care of our car.
I HAVE A 1980 911SC THAT HAD SERIOUS ENGINE PROBLEMS. HERE IN BOISE THERE IS VERY LIMITED EXPERTISE ON OLD PORSCHE AIR COOLED MODELS. AFTER TRYING SEVERAL OTHERS - INCLUDING LOCAL PORSCHE DEALER - I ENDED UP MEETING HANS & BRIAN. SMALL FAMILY SHOP AND THANK GOD I FOUND THEM. THEY ENDED UP HAVING TO TAKE THE ENGINE OUT OF THE CAR, REBUILD IT INCLUDING REPLACING BROKEN HEAD STUDS AND FIX SOME OTHER ISSUES AS WELL. THEY WERE REASONABLE AND THE CAR TURNED OUT TERRIFIC. CANT RECOMMEND MORE HIGHLY AND I WILL TRY TO POST ON PELICAN, PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA SO WHEN PEOPLE GOOGLE PORSCHE MECHANIC IN IDAHO THEY CAN FIND HANS & BRIAN.
I just moved to Eagle and my car battery kept draining. I thought it was the alternator, called to schedule an appointment, and drove over. They could have told me it was the alternator but instead the car just needed a battery (I thought it had been replaced not long ago but turned out it was the original battery on a 2011 car). They replaced it while I waited and I was off and driving. The owners are the type of people you want to do business with. They are ethical, honest, and all around good people...they really know German cars as well. Since my car is a 2011 BMW with 160k miles I feel I now have one thing checked off my list......a good mechanic! Thank you!!
I hope you read this and hope this benefits the choice you are about to make to get your valuable car repaired at this facility. Hans and his mechanics are the most unprincipled, incompetent people I have met in the recent times.I went to this shop after noticing the perfect 5 star reviews. Now I know all of these have to be paid reviews or reviews posted by their own family members. This shop was not able to talk to my warranty company to compensate for a part the warranty actually covers, and authorized for compensation. I was told Hans would much rather not deal with the warranty people. That being said, they damaged the brake booster on my 335i and also ruined the leather console inside the car. I spent hours of my time and gas driving back and forth to get them to remedy the damages only to find out they flat-out lied to my face on both accounts. Please heed this advice and do not go to this shop.EDIT: The business responded in a fraudulent way just as I expected. It is impossible to notice all damages caused by a repair facility instantly. For one, you do not expect such a thing. Secondly, yes since I did not expect them to damage my vehicle, I did not notice the console damage until today. The brake booster damage was notified to them on the day of service. I fear discovering more damage as time goes by.I have filed a BBB complaint. I hope others can benefit from this information.EDIT: Notice more damage on the wheels. I wouldnt pick this shop if the survival of humanity was dependent on it...
Very knowledgeable staff. Great shop. Honest and dependable.
Great place to get your Mercedes Benz serviced
Correct diagnosis, prompt repair. Done as promised. Priced competitively. Friendly staff. Highly recommend
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would.. I truly dont understand how they are still in business. Anyway PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISION ON TAKING YOUR CAR HERE. We purchased an Audi from Corwin Ford Wholesale on April 15th and on April 17th my check engine light came on. We then took the car back to the dealership so they could take it to this shop since they worked closely with them. Before taking the car back to the dealership I took it to Auto Zone to have their machine tell us the reason for the check engine light. The code it read off was P0299 Turnocharger/Supercharger A underboost Condition. After driving the car very minimally for 6 days with the check engine light on since they were busy due to Easter weekend. My boyfriend and I noticed something very wrong about the car. We noticed it was starting to go into limp mode. I then told the Salesman Larry Black about the issue. I did notice when I told him about our discovery he scratched his head and looked in distress. He then assured me he would let the shop know about this. A day after them having the vehicle they call to let us know the thermostat is the issue. The dealership agreed to pay for half of this which came out to $300. I was a little skeptical when they said the thermostat was the issue after what we encountered ourselves. But I thought to myself theyre professionals theres no way they could misdiagnose. I was very very wrong. My check engine light came back on a day later. We took it to two different shops for diagnostics and both said the issues had to do with the turbo. We no longer felt comfortable working with these incompetent people here. So we continued the repairs with Mikes Auto Clinic. My mom has spent a little over $1,500 on the repairs that is NOT including the $300 for the thermostat that didnt need to be replaced. Mikes Auto Clinic has spent over 7 days working on this car and the check engine light has luckily finally turned off BUT there is still one major issue. The car takes 1 qt of oil every 700-800 miles. This is an issue we are STILL currently dealing with. That being said I highly DO NOT recommend this place to anyone at all
I live in Billings, MT and needed some work done on my 2001 Porsche Boxster S. Porsche service in Montana is a challenge with no dealerships, and few dedicated Porsche shops. I brought my car to Nampa and Hans got me right in for service. Brain expertly repaired the issue and rectified other items I was unaware of. Ill be back. It was worth the long drive.
I had two pre-purchase inspections done here, bought one of the cars and brought it back for some fixes. Good team, highly recommended. -Chris
Best place in Boise for your Porsche, Ferrari, or Lamborghini. They service many other makes and models! Amazing work and fantastic owners.
Hans and the team do great work and saved me money when compared to the dealer prices.
Thankful to have found a local repair shop for my 2004 BMW X3. Super fast to get in for repairs, great work, and fair prices.
Good Prices. Very Flexible Schedule. Will continue to use them for BMW.
Give them a day and a half, theyll have any mechanical issue fixed. Great people, easy to deal with and FAST.
Had a pre-purchase inspection performed on a Porsche that I ultimately ended up purchasing in large part because of the great treatment that I received from Brian and Hans. Post purchase I had them do the repair work that they had recommended as part of the PPI and was very pleased with the quality of the work, the timeliness in which they did it, and the open communication that they exhibited throughout the process. As a new Porsche owner it is reassuring to know that there is an independent service facility that I can trust to service my vehicle.
Owner is a great person and does great work at a fair price
I take my Volkswagen Ghia in there when I find a problem that I cant fix myself and Hans always seems to fix more things then I asked him to and the car always runs way better then when I left it, his shop is always the one I recommend to others.
One of the best mechanic shops in town
I took my BMW X5 in for an oil leak and it was ready a few hours later. I would take my car there again.
