I placed an order online for curbside pickup. My order was ready for pickup in 4 minutes, not an exaggeration. When I arrived outside, I checked in via email. Not even 5 minutes later an associate was handing me my order, and I left. Fast, efficient, friendly and accurate. Highly recommend!
We fell in love with a desk they had in store but, unfortunately they were out of stock. We asked the associate if we could purchase the floor model and his manager came up. The associate asked if we could get a discount since it was a floor model. We didn’t ask for it because it was a great price, but the associate just asked I’m assuming because he’s heard of that before (makes sense!). Instead of speaking with us, she proceeded to tell the associate that she was “absolutely not selling that desk at a discount because it hasn’t been used so it’s brand new.” Instead she will be charging us an assembly fee. 🤣 The situation was so absurd! Her attitude was terrible and tone was almost aggressive toward the associate. We were just asking a simple question, not being combative in any way. I felt bad for the associate because she put him in a very uncomfortable situation. We would have purchased that desk if it wasn’t for her negativity. On the plus side, the store was very bright and organized!
Lisa is amazing!!!! She helped me and printed out my wedding invitation inserts! She was so patient with me and she cares so much about her customers. I am forever an Office Depot customer because of her work!
I needed different business cards and other items while at a conference in Myrtle Beach. Despite complicated details due to my mistake, Tai T. was amazing! He fixed what my errors and printed more cards in record time. During this short wait, the manager and the cashier both helped with other necessary purchases. Incredible patience, courtesy, and respectful assistance by three young, vibrant staff to this old lady stood out like bright stars on the darkest night with no streetlights. So thankful. I don’t write reviews, but it was near closing time by the time we finished, yet they dint even rush me. Kudos to them and whomever hired them.
Transaction is such a hassle. Stop asking me for my phone number. It is none of your business. How about this? I give you an extra dollar to leave me alone and take my money. A novel idea? No, just like Radio Shack you are hell bent on going out of business - asking for phone number. $2 rebate if I come back to your store next month? I am not coming back until 6 or 7 months when my ink runs out and hopefully not any sooner. I went back to my car to get my old ink carts only to learn that I do not get the rebate today. Ram it, and stop asking about my personal information. Can you just take the money?
I needed to buy a printer, and was helped by Paul Striso, whose knowledge of different printers was amazing and also he asked all the right questions about my usage and needs. I had come in intending to buy one particular printer, and ended up with a completely different one, which is ideal for my needs. Big thanks to Paul and the rest of the staff.
Im surprised this place doesnt get more business than it does. Maybe I just dont see the foot traffic. I go in here once a month with my son to get supplies and have been greeted by the manager almost every time. Very friendly and helpful. The staff is great. Selection is impeccable.
Its all there. Everything I was looking for in office supplies and more. The store crew was great with help on where items were located and knowledgeable about everything. Bottom line. .. this is my #1 place to get supplies.
As an Horry County elementary school teacher, I was disappointed when I called to inquire about a product they had on special...$0.25 for 70 page spiral notebook, with a limit of 4 per customer. Asked if they would waive the limit for teacher purchase. Answer was no. Many companies would not only waive limit, but donate the supplies. Guess I’ll go another route, maybe Donors Choose, Walmart, etc. and will not use Office Max/Depot in the future. I just personally feel a major corporation as such completely has the capacity to be supportive of our public education system.
Found just what I was looking (2019 planner) and other office supplys. Also cute little Christmas gifts. Cashier was extremely nice.
Had a problem with the hard drive on my brand new hp laptop. They were pleasant and quick to help. We ended up going with Dell. Thanks office max
Convenient hours. Convenient location. Helpful staff.
Had business cards printed here for the first time and had a great experience. Tai (or Ty) was very knowledgable and helpful in formatting my cards and making the printing process quick and easy. His background in graphic design was evident as he skillfully navigated my questions/concerns. Even though it was pretty busy AND it was after the 2pm deadline for same day print/pickup, Tai gave me a call that they were ready within an hour. Very happy with how they came out, and the friendly service I received.
This store has a good selection of office & back to school items. Personnel, especially Mary Kay, are helpful, friendly, & with a smile. Store is clean & organized.
Friendly staff. Odd location. Clean store
WE BEST RECORD
When I got to the store I was greeted warmly and asked if I needed any assistance which I did. I asked what aisle the ink cartridges were in and the clerk told me right where to go then offered me 10% discount which very surprised thank you OfficeMax
If I could not to leave any star, I would!!! I had a horrible experience with OfficeMax in Myrtle Beach SC yesterday evening. I run out ink in the middle of printing for work related project and decided to go to the OfficeMax as first choice instead of Walmart (Walmart is even closer to me). I got there and the door was already locked, thought they close at 9pm (turned out they close at 8pm) then looked at my phone and it was 7:57pm. So they locked the door before closing time (there is another review on google review saying the same thing: sign says close at 8pm, door locked at 7:57pm). I saw there were still customers inside and looking around for shopping and saw an employee standing at a register, so I knocked on the window to get her attention. She saw me first and pretended she didnt see, finally she came to the front door after I keep knocking on the window. Speaking through the glass door, she told me that they close at 8pm and I responded but it wasnt 8pm yet and the doors already locked. and I explained to her all I needed was a couple of inks and I know what I need, so I can just grab them and pay with no time wasted and since there were still people inside looking around, I will be in and out quicker than them. She kept saying we are closed and I cant open the door. She went back to the register and spoke on her headphone, so I thought she was asking for supervisor and waited outside. During my time waiting outside, this employee came back to the front door twice to let two customers out, so I asked her again each time to please just let me grab the inks I needed badly and she kept saying we closed and there were still other customers inside and not ready to check out. In conclusion, if they didnt lock the door few minutes before closing time, I could be able to get in and pay before their actual closing time, and instead of that employee kept telling me they are closed and let me in, then I would have spent $126 on inks in the store, but I guess they dont need that money. I went to Walmart and happily spent it there and got the inks I needed to finish my printing project. I will never set foot in the OfficeMax ever again and my company and I will never spend a penny there ever, since they refuse the customer who beg to go in to spend money there. After all they are not the only one sells office supplies.
Always find what I need & the lady who checks me out is ALWAYS super friendly.
Great customer service today from Carrie at Officemax at Seaboard Commons, I highly recommended this store.

We found what we needed. Prices were a bit high, but very convenient.
Shopping for supplies the best place for this in this area.
Bought some office chairs online, went to pick them up about 10min after I ordered them and they were waiting for me. So that was nice, not having to wait around.
I always like shopping at OfficeMax for all my office supplies. They have what other stores dont.
Excellent service and with the coupon a real bargain
Was not easy with service went in store and guy took our order in back and then turn around and came back and said he cant fill our order come back tomorrow. Wasnt call for. He should of said up front we cant do this today come back. But to take the order and then come back showed they didnt care about there customers. Want get my service anymore.
The Printing specialist Chris was not helpful at all, knows what nothing about customers service. Very rude...will never go there again! Disappointed.
