They have been taking care of our cars for years and doing an excellent job. Trustworthy, affordable, professional, and they know what theyre doing. Also they wont tell you you need stuff done that you dont need.

My wife and I are selling our 2007 Ford Focus. We wanted to make sure our car was fully inspected and topped off with any fluid needed. The manager that was taken care of us is such a honest man. He did not over charge us he explained everything when he called he told us what exactly needed to be fixed and he is so polite and very honest. We are very blessed for how reasonable the cost was. I would highly recommend this Precision Tune. Kelly the manager was so helpful and very friendly. I was in from out of state on vacation. My ABS and Traction Control light came on and my car was braking on its own. I called late in the afternoon and was told to come in the next morning. Nervously anticipating my 500 mile drive home was upsetting. I was so grateful they were able to get me in so quickly and my repairs were finished in four hours!!!Fantastic service and all done in a timely manner meant the world to me and set my mind at ease.

We brought the car in for a clanking noise in the front end and a transmission fluid leak. They ended up replacing the front brake pads and said they filled the transmission fluid. Didn’t address the front end noise and the transmission fluid was almost empty. Do not recommend using this shop. Went to a transmission shop and they were very concerned about the transmission leak and took very good care of our car.

Kelly, Andy, and all teammembers are extremely courteous, profefssional, knowledgeable, and client-focused. They do all in their power to provide the needed service at the lowest possible price...a rare trait in the auto repair business!

Absolute worst experience ever with a mechanic. They misdiagnosed my repair, overcharged me, and then never made right on it. $350 down the drain. I gave them three separate opportunities to look it over and everytime I was told they had no mechanics available. If you guys are reading this send me my money back now.

Went there to see if I needed brakes,was told yes.The new brakes were grinding so I went back, now I was told that I need new calipers.Next it was suggested that it was cheaper for me to buy the calipers but they would install them.$600.00 for calipers.$165.00 for install.I took the car for a second opinion.The Head mechanic informed me that the calipers were good BUT the brake pads were the wrong onesBig question is did I need brakes to start with and are these people real mechanics.One star is too many but you need to give one to leave a review.Will never ever deal with precision again.

5 stars is not enough. Kelly, Andy and the team were outstanding. I called with a fuel leak in my truck and they told me to bring it right down. They immediately diagnosed the problem and found ways to save me money. Nobody does that anymore. I highly recommend these guys. You will not be disappointed. Wow! 6 out of 5 stars. We all know how hard it can be finding a repair shop you can trust. Not only were these guys friendly, more importantly, they were 100% honest. I’ve never felt better about spending over $500 to repair my vehicle. I’m not joking. Right from the beginning these guys were honest about the work that was necessary to bring my car to life again, to make it safe to be on the road. They didn’t take advantage one bit. In fact, I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted with a warm smile and a firm handshake. These are the kind of people you want to do business with. I am very grateful for the work y’all did, especially how quickly you got it done (late Saturday afternoon) I know y’all were ready to enjoy the weekend but you made it happen for me anyway. These guys are awesome...Our SUV started acting up on I-95 on the way down. After a diagnosis, the guys determined it was the fuel pump. Our Porsche Cayenne has two and Andy, Kelly, and Mr Mechanic Glen were able to get us up and running after we overnighted parts in from across the country. Thanks guys! These guys at this shop are amazing, especially Andy, Glen, and Kelly! I just moved here from Indiana and had some issues with my car. They got me right in when I called and fixed my car. I had an issue with the check engine light the next day and they told me to bring it right back. The issue was fixed immediately and I wasnt charged. Great experience. Very friendly people with tons of experience under their belts. They were able to get me in and out in about 20 minutes and I was afraid it would take much longer (after experience with other places). They were very helpful and don’t try to charge you for things you don’t need. I have been a customer at Precision for over 12 years. I have never had a bad experience with them. I have always trusted they opinion and they prices are very reasonable. Bo usually does my oil changes and tire rotations. I think he is a great mechanic and a hard worker.This week I had to purchase 2 new tires and for convenience I took my car to a different place closer to my work. They quoted me a higher price for cheaper tires. Precision put better quality and safer tires on for the same price this other tire place quoted me. I will continue to support Precision Auto Tune as I feel like they are not only trustworthy but friends. I have always had a nice greeting from Linda and her 3 generations of terriers. Jerry put my tires on for me this time and I have nothing but good words to speak about him.

We’ve been going to precision auto for over a decade. Even after they changed owners they are still just as awesome! Each experience has been great, affordable with competitive rates, and any vehicle issues were fully explained timely fixed and extremely affordable. And an added bonus my kids the love the guys there they are always so nice!

F150. Passenger front brake sticking.It was suggested that the rotor and caliper be replaced. Ok. Sure. Seems reasonable.Then it was also suggested to replace opposite side, although there was no problems, and I had clearly stated that rotors and pads had been recently replaced. At double the price no less.$600+They were instructed to just fix the immediate problems. I was from out of state on vacation.3 hours later, $356, they said it was fixed.Finished vacation, got home. Same exact problem again. I ended up changing the flexible brake line myself on the side they “fixed”.$35This clearly was the original problem that they failed to diagnose and fix.If I miss it..... I get it.They miss it.... not acceptable, that’s what they do.I don’t like to pay too much for repairs. But if it’s done correctly....ok fine. I’m from out of town, not much choice.Not impressed, even a little.Beware of being talked into work that isn’t needed, and not finding all the problems. Just throwing parts at it.....on YOUR dime.

I have never been so impressed with an auto care place in my life! This review is long overdue. I have been going here Im sure for years now. I am always happy with my service. I usually get the pleasure of working with Andy who is a joy. I thought he was just a great guy working here but I see they are all great guys. I got to work with Kelly today. He was too amazing. Ive never had such confidence when getting my car serviced. I use to go to Toyota because I thought that it was best to go to the dealer...WRONG! I always left there unhappy, had to wait for hours on top of hours, and had to cut off my arm in payment. Not here. These guys are quick, fair, accurate, honest, and reasonable!!! They always do a great job, never try to add on unnecessary things, and are trustworthy. I much appreciate them. I also spoke with another guy who serviced the car, dont know his name, but he was also very pleasant. You dont find service like this in most places so I really do appreciate this place and the people. Great service, friendly faces, reliable honest work.

Andy at Percision is the most standup guy for auto care you will find in Myrtle Beach. I was stranded and stressed on the side of the road and he came to the rescue not only quickly but with a fair price. He had my car working again the very next morning without breaking the bank. My story starts in Lafayette, IN where I live. I was getting ready for a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC and had the oil changed at Jiffy Lube in Lafayette. A few days later I drove the 800 miles to Myrtle Beach and when I got there my oil light came on and a BIG oil leak under my car. I called Stephanie at Precision Tune Auto Care in Myrtle Beach (150 Rodeo Drive) and they immediately checked over the engine and was able to find the leak. The problem was the oil filter had not been put on tight by Jiffy Lube (it was only finger tight) and my oil was leaking out. Brett and Joe showed me the issue and immediately put in a new oil filter and new oil. They also sprayed my engine down with engine degreaser and cleaned everything up. Next they ran the engine for 15 minutes to make sure there was no oil leak and checked out the engine to see if there was any damage from having low oil (luckily there wasnt). Stephanie, Brett and Joe were fantastic...very friendly...and made me feel at ease. Brett and Joe were very experienced with autos and my car was in good hands. They did all this....check the car, find the leak, new filter/oil, degrease and clean the engine area, check for engine damage....all for $31.50. Complete Bargain!! For anyone having car issues and you are in Myrtle Beach, SC...go to Precision Tune at 150 Rodeo Drive........they are GREAT!!!

In MB on vacation and our truck starting having fuel issues. Someone else read the engine code which reported we might need to replace our fuel injectors. Matt got us scheduled quickly and Andy was super, fixing us fast and honest and discovered the fix was NOT injectors but a much cheaper and easier replacement of the mass airflow sensor. Would definitely recommend them. Good, honest, hard working guys! Very grateful to them.

I had been going to Precision before the new ownership and really liked them then as well as the new ownership now. Their friendliness and honesty is hard to beat. I started going to Meineke because it was closer to my job. But after they started continuously leaving oil drops on my console after oil changes and forgetting to reset maintenance counter as well as something else always seeming to be wrong with my like new car. I switched back to Precision and don’t plan on taking my vehicles anywhere else from now on. I highly recommend them.

Linda and Jerry work hard to make sure your experience is a pleasurable one. We use them to service our fleet of vehicles for routine maintenance such as oil changes and cooling system service. They are always fast, efficient, and courteous.Getting great service is about asking the right questions up front as it is within any business. Get a written estimate for repairs in advance. Ask if the estimate is going to cost you anything. If it does cost ask if it will be credited towards the repair if you allow them to complete the repair. Make sure you understand what is covered and not covered, and ask the question, if this does not fix it the issue, what else could go wrong and how much more could it potentially cost. Then make an informed decision as to what your next course of action is going to be, get it repaired or trade it in. I have found that Jerry and Linda will answer all these questions up front with no issues.

I had a very bad wobble in one of my tires & had very little time to have it serviced. The Owner Andy personally drove to pick up a new tire for my vehicle while his right hand man Kelly removed the damaged tire. I had everything done in less time than quoted & was able to pick up my friends from the airport without delay. I have used Precision Auto Tune before & highly recommend them for their services & friendliness. Andy even offered to allow me to pay upon my return if I didnt have enough cash. Excellent service. Our engine light started blinking and the car was running rough. We had just gotten into town for vacation after a 7 hour drive. I Googled car repair shops to find the closest ones. It was about 4:30 pm so I didnt call any that closed before 5:30. The first three I called and explained our situation to were not helpful at all and said they could not get to us until later in the week. Fourth on my list was Precision on Rodeo Drive. They were extremely helpful and didnt hesitate to tell us to come on right then and they would take care of us. My husband took the car while the kids and I settled in at the hotel. They took the car straight back and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, ordered the part we needed, and had it repaired within an hour. I highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repair in the myrtle beach area.

They are THE BEST. The dealer told me I needed new rear brakes (and were going to charge me an arm and a leg! Of course!). These guys checked out my car and in 10 minutes told me my rear brakes had plenty of life left on them and didn’t charge me a dime! If youre looking for honest service at a fair price, Precision Tune Auto Care on Rodeo Dr. here in Myrtle Beach is the place to go. Not only did they professionally replace all of my brake parts (calipers, rotors, ceramic pads) on my 16 year old Pontiac, they corrected the problem I was having with my new back tire that Blacks Tire Service failed at installing a new valve stem and the balancing, including lead weight, which they did not reinstall one on my new back tire that I purchased from them. I considered letting Blacks Tire and Auto do the brake work, but if I couldnt trust them with (1) new tire purchase, left on their honor, I certainly wasnt going to let them have at it with my brake work. They told me down at Blacks that it is possible that when they go to work on my brakes that lines are going to give way for leakage, causing more costly repairs because the car was 16 years old. They even caused me stress over my (7) year old fuel filter that I asked them to replace. I looked under the car with the service manager at Blacks and didnt really see that much of an issue, as I get under the entire car once a year for inspection of everything when I do my oil change. The car gets driven about 3500 miles a year. I took it to Precision Tune and received the best possible experience and service with this that anyone could have. All (3) men are seasoned mechanics by over 25 years and believe in doing what is right at a fair price. Thanks so much Andy, Kelly and Junior for making this very stressful situation one of the best that I will remember for a lifetime. You guys are the best!

Traveling from Florida to New England via Myrtle Beach go two senior women, a dog and a cat. Check engine light on for 2 days, and stopped here based on reviews. Absolutely wonderful experience from diagnosis to recommendations. The service manager suggested i go to a Chrysler dealer because work may be covered under an extended warranty that Chrysler put out in a service bulletin which he had the care and intelligence to discover. So right on, saving us many dollars, time, and perhaps a very unsafe driving situation. I easily recommend this business with the highest praise for service, competence integrity and value. We feel so happy knowing that whenever we are in the area, Precision Tune Auto on Rodeo drive, Myrtle Beach, will be where we always go.

Dont be fooled by the friendly faces, I came in for an oil change and they told me I had a leak and something else wrong and the estimated total was over $600. The next place I took it to told me my car was fine, except for a cheap, minor issue the great folks at Precision Tune missed while trying to scam me.

I had new U Joints put on my Pathfinder today at Precision Tune. They had to do a little extra work and didnt charge me for it. My SUV drives as sooth as glass now. I am very, very happy with the service I received and they were about $25 less than other places I checked out.

They fit me in immediately when my car stopped working and the battery light came on. They gave me the number of a tow person who could come get it, and just add the tow to my final bill. And they let me leave my motorcycle inside the shop so I could take my car, and come back later to get the moto. Adequate communication over the phone updating me and got it fixed by the end of the day. Cool people too.

These guys I thought were the best most knowledgable mechanics in Myrtle Beach..Well I thought they were..on my 3rd time returning it for an oil leak..We have spent way too much money and its still not fixed..2 jeeps later both still leaking..very disappointed. Had to take it to another shop 2k later..You would think they wouldve returned half of the money since they fixed things not needed..Shame on you..

Went for a oil change. Made an appointment and everything. My appointment was at 9am they didnt take my car back till 9:45. Only one customer was a head of me. Since they switch over the service has been horrible. U use to be able to come in and get your car serviced on time.

COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!! THIS IS MORE LIKE A WARNING THEN REVIEW!!!!! I cant even give this place 1 star, but I had too in order to post!!!! DO NOT GO THERE PPL, the place is under new ownership, Gerry has sold the place and sadly crooks own it now!!! I was with them for over ten years and it was the best place, now they are money hungry crooks!!! I called to get a quote for some work and I have limited money..I mean I was literally nickel and diming this repair!!!! so I asked what it would be if I brought the part in, and it was reasonable, but I just had this feeling that they were gonna find a way to make up for the money they were losing on the part and sure enough I got a phone call..they told me they could have it in the same day and it was a day later...they also tried telling me I had other things going on, that I didnt and wasnt concerned about..after I went thru the scenario of what I thought was going on about them trying to rip me off, the guy agreed with me through my whole conversation, then once he figured out what I was really trying to say switched it up by saying I was putting words in his mouth!!! I worked around the problem they tried to say my car was having, payed them and also for an additional $90 to diagnose what was not really happening! next.. my back brake system needed to be done and they were quoting me $500-$700 at this point Im gonna need to take out a loan, I told them DO NOT do my brakes, I will call u back, called around found a better place, went to have my car towed out of there and they told me I owed them for the brake job, I told them not to do!!! WHAT!!! so they took off the parts put the old ones back on and I was able to finally get my car out of there, who knows what damage they have done to my car, Im so stressed and worried over it!!!! If you bring youre car to Precision Tune Auto Care on 150 Rodeo dr., Myrtle Beach SC, they will make sure you have more problems then you actually have..thats their specialty and they honestly care about your money, so they will do their best at making sure you spend it on them!!!!! Karma does exist Precision Tune, so when it comes around for you, hopefully then you will want to change your ways as human beings!!!!

Felt as if $100 a little steep if all they did was tighten on my rear passenger tire when I brought in tire beacuse hearing funny thud noise from tire because last auto shop did poor job putting tire back on and it was hanging by a thread ready to drop off while family n I on vacay not to mention I brought car in day prior and he originally said bring back in morning for full assessment I think you need new brakes caliper etc after he drove it around lot and said they didnt have time to deal with then for me to come back and be there less than 20 min and get hit for $100

I had my Dodge worked on at the dealer several times and never noticed any significant improvement. Things like A VIBRATION THAT HAD DEVELOPED THE DEALER COULD NOT FIND A CAUSE AND SAID I WOULD JUST HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IT! Well it took the technician approximately two hours to find bad rear breaks and replace them. I also had them tune the engine up and my SUV has never run better!

Took car to Precision tune about 4 weeks ago. A/C wasnt working and mechanic said the compressor went out and it would be $850. Because of the cars age and value I was really on the border on wether to have it fixed. The mechanic said he was confident it was the problem so I had it fixed. Three weeks later the A/C stopped blowing cold. Took it back and same mechanic said a tube was leaking. He said it was rubbing the frame or tire and that wore a hole it it. Quoted me $330 to have it fixed. Already $850 in the whole I talked with the manager Bo to see if he could help me out. Bo said the tube busted because of the pressure from the compressor. TWO DIFFERENT STORIES WITHIN 10 MINUTES. If thats not bad enough he said we hate doing AC work because theres so many problems. Whatever, I had to have it fixed so I talked him down to $270. He verbally guaranteed that it would fix the car. 24 Hours later the A/C blew up. Took it back to shop and the owner Jerry called me. Explained that another part broke (evaporator) and it was unrelated to any of the other repairs. His exact words thats the risk you run sometimes a new part can cause other parts to break. You have to be kidding me. He quoted me $700 to have it fixed. He wouldnt refund me a dime from the past repairs and denies that Precision Tune had any responsibility with the issues. I was on the fence at the beginning and now I have $1200 into the car and have no AC and no more money to have it fixed. I took it to a reputable dealer and they said the evaporator was the initial cause for the compressor going out in the first place. Also because they didnt run a dye through the system on the initial inspection there is no way they would have found the small leak in the tube and the evaporator leak. In conclusion Jerry the owner wouldnt help at all and now Im going to court to get my money back on top of punitive damages for clear negligence and incompetence. Dont go to this shop, the ladies at the front are nice but the owner cant even spell customer service.

DO NOT GO TO PRECISION AUTO CARE IN CAROLINA FOREST. I went there to get an oil change and a headlight bulb replaced. After I waited for over 2 hours listening to them try and sell an older lady a brand new battery that she insisted she just bought, they told me my car was ready. I got to my car, turned it on, and my OTHER headlight mysteriously went out. I confronted my mechanic and he was sitting down WAITING to sell me another light And acted SO surprised that it just mysteriously went out. I left, woke up the next morning to a FLAT TIRE. Ive had more problems with my car in the past few DAYS than the past few YEARS all thanks to this place. I called back the next morning to talk to Michelle, the very confused and witchy person behind the counter. All she did was try and convince me I needed a brand new tire THOUGH THE PHONE. Dont waste your time, Im sure theyre just struggling to pay the rent.
